Most of the time, I get the dozen or 1/2 dozen box to bring to a dinner party - cookies are decorated beautifully & help create conversation with new people at these dinners. They have a rotating menu of specialty cookies which they have out on the counter display. The store is very bright, clean & quick service. Crumbl is tucked in the corner of the shopping center with Vons and CVS. Payment is credit card only, no cash. Plenty of parking. Crumbl cookies are expensive!! After tax, more than $5/cookie. So I only go there when it's "absolutely necessary" for a hostess gift. Can't afford the price & the calories! LOL! I received a box as a "thank you" gift at work the other day & it was really lovely! Like Easter in a box! I decided to try the one that I thought was Snickerdoodle. Wow! 1st thought - OMG! This is WAY TOO sweet!! 2nd thought - But it's good! The cookie was bigger in dimension than a donut. There's NO WAY anyone can eat one whole cookie. Maybe 1/2 at one sitting. Their nutrition label states 1/4 of a cookie is 1 serving but who cuts a cookie into 4 pieces?? If you have diabetes or other health issues, this is NOT for you. The amount of sugar in 1 whole piece of double fudge cookie is absurd! 188 grams of sugar (6.6 oz), 800 calories. To put it into perspective, that's like eating 16 Oreos! A slice of Cheesecake Factory's original cheesecake has 51 grams of sugar & I think that's too sweet. A can of cola contains 39 grams = 10 teaspoons of sugar. Crumbl has about 1/3 cup (15 teaspoons) of sugar in 1 cookie! So, if you're scheduled for blood work or a doctor's appointment during that week, steer clear! I would honestly buy Crumbl more often for my own personal consumption if they had a reduced sugar one that's 1/2 of the size & 1/2 of the price. Everyone who has had a cookie from Crumbl say the same thing - WAY TOO SWEET! And they also all say they won't be buying from there because of the sugar, not so much complaints about the price. If you absolutely must try one to get it off of your bucket list of things to eat, by all means, go ahead. But go with a couple of friends so you can split one & have it with coffee or tea to wash down that sugary stuff. read more

I've been to this Crumbl many times without an issue. Now, I will not be back, ever. Stopped in and bought a 4 pack of XL Cookies on Friday morning. It's nearly $23 so...not cheap, but I don't mind paying good money for a rare treat for myself and my family. I drove off and decided to eat a little piece of a cookie while driving. Blech! It was totally raw. Not slightly undercooked. Not that soft chewy, slightly underbaked thing, no. This was not that. This was RAW, all the way. So I thought maybe they just opened or the ovens aren't hot enough yet? Maybe it's just this batch. So I took a bite from another cookie. Nope. Raw raw raw. For that much money, and something inedible, I'm going back. So, I understand mistakes and if the girl who came to the counter just apologized, gave me a refund, maybe even a freebie coupon or something, I'd still be a happy customer. Nope. She doubled down on stupid. I tell, and show her that it's RAW, and she has the gall to insult my intelligence and tell me they bake them that way on purpose! It's actually supposed to be that way! So I tell her I want my money back and in returning all 4 cookies. She said, you aren't even going to try the other two? I said, why? Everyone I know raves about these cookies, so of course, I had to try them. Luckily this one is pretty close and I could get it with a delivery app. I went for very different cookies each time and I am so happy with all of them. The PINK CADILLAC SUGAR is always a basic staple to get. This one surprised me though. I the frosting has a touch of almond flavoring I think. That extra little pinch of flavor knocked these out of the park. The PEANUT BUTTER WITH MUDDY BUDDIES and PEANUR BUTTER WITH NUTTER BUTTER FROSTING are both delicious. Before you read this review, there are two things you must know: 1. The only thing my mother could really make well were chocolate chip cookies. 2. I went to UCLA. Diddy Riese is my favorite chocolate chip cookie in the world and a real bargain. Therefore, I consider myself a bit of a chocolate chip cookie aficionado and admittedly have very high standards. Crumbl presents themselves as specializing in baking freshly made cookies with rotating flavors, served up in cute pink boxes. I only tried Crumbl because it's right next to a nail salon that I visited for the first time and then thought to myself, let's see how this cookie crumbles. I had heard the hype and was hoping for something really special. I popped in and ordered one milk chocolate chip cookie. Disappointing and overpriced is an understatement. $4.50 for one cookie? Come on now. First off, truly warmed and fresh chocolate chip cookies should have chocolate chips that are half-melted and almost liquid. They should also smell delicious, with that just-out-of-the-oven mouth-watering scent. My cookie was more like a cake with chocolate pieces in it, a dense thick mass of dough with chocolate chips here and there that were barely melted. No earth-shattering scent was detected at all. (The pink box was cute, as most pink boxes are.) Second of all, the price is truly ridiculous. For the price of one or two of their cookies, you could literally buy all the ingredients at any discount grocery store and make much better cookies at home. Trust me. Third of all, the nutritional information is deceptive. Now, I am not saying that the chocolate cookie is health food; but to say on your nutritional information that one serving has 110 calories and then upon closer look you realize that they are counting each cookie as FIVE SERVINGS? Each cookie has 550 calories. That is truly deceptive (unless you typically cut up your chocolate chip cookies *five ways* and share with friends. Come on!). Fourth of all, this is marketing gone off the rails. Each cookie already comes in a box. Then, to make it a "gift box", they want to charge you $1 for a sticker and a string. I feel like Crumbl was an MBA student's project in Branding and Upselling 101. If you happen to be in the area and craving a chocolate chip cookie, may I recommend Subway a few steps away? Their cookie game is honestly awesome and their chocolate chip cookies beat Crumbl's hands down (especially at 59 cents). Or there's always a bag of Famous Amos at Vons. Just sayin'. A cookie place where the selection changes weekly, the presentation is 10 stars, and the cookies are so rich that Crumbl sells a teeny cookie cutter to cut the cookies into fourths. Unbelievably, the "serving size" on Crumbl's website is 1/4 cookie. Truly a cheat meal worth its weight in carbs (64g per cookie). Pink Sugar is my favorite. OMG Finally! I can't tell you the serious FOMO I get when my YELP friends check into Crumbl, so I was thrilled when Cydney M announced they opened a location in La Canada. As soon as I walked in the door I smelled fresh baked cookies. I love that smell! I wish there was a way to bottle it so my house could smell like that every day! Crumbl cookies are baked from scratch and served fresh daily. The menu features a warm chocolate chip cookie and chilled sugar cookie in addition to four rotating specialty cookies that change on a weekly basis. The available options are displayed on the counter. Some are meant to be served warm and others chilled and it's indicated next to each one. You can order a single, 4-pack, 6-pack, or a party box. The signature pink boxes are specially made to ensure that each cookie lays flat, so they don't crumble during transport. The store is clean and well organized. Everything looked so pretty and making a decision wasn't easy. Eventually, I decided on the Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake(chilled) and the Chocolate Caramel (warm). The gal that took my order was friendly and she told me it would be ready in a few minutes. Another person brought me my cookies and each one came in a cute pink box. Since I wanted to take photos, I refrained from shoving the cookies in my mouth on the drive home. (Trust me, it wasn't easy.) The Chocolate Caramel was still warm when I got home. Serving this cookie warm is essential. The caramel on top was soft. Inside was moist and chewy. The cookie was packed with chips which, when warm, added to its yummy gooeyness. The Strawberry Cheesecake was a chocolate cookie topped with strawberry cream cheese frosting. The frosting was lightly sweetened with fresh strawberries. It paired well with the brownie like cookie, which was also packed with chips. The cookie was crisp on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. Both cookies were decadently delightful! The cookies are $4.50 each and worth every penny! I'm definitely addicted and can't wait to go back to try their award-winning chocolate chip cookie and other featured flavors.
