I have bangs and even pointed out they were too long right now but to style them like curtain bangs. The stylist just blow dried everything straight back and it was all frizzy. I looked like I was electrocuted in a wind tunnel. I pointed all of this out and the stylist basically said, "I tried. Guess I should have used more serum." As she took a flat iron to my bangs and made them bone straight amidst my mess of a mane. $200 and my hair felt + looked like straw walking out of there but I had to run to catch a flight.

Hair cut and styling was $50, I normally go the cheaper route but I'm glad I went the more expensive route for this dramatic hair change. She gave me some tips for curling my hair. I was recommended to come here by my sister in law and I know a couple of other people who have gone to her and all have had good things to say. I had wanted a perm & color but since my home-dye-job damaged my hair, they explained to me how that would damage my hair further. I was grateful for the consideration & learned more about hair care. And the salon was clean, tidy, & welcoming. [BTW, during another hair consultation with a Plano salon - which was loud & rude, they wouldn't explain to me why my request was not doable; the stylist pulled my hair & yelled in Chinese. All his translator would say is "not possible" which offended me because I kept asking why] At MiMi Salon, Roy is so patient & skilled with cutting, coloring, & styling. Roy is a magician with hair!
