    breaky burger

looked like a nice place to grab a bite during my layover but unfortunately it was not. I paid $30 for this burger with meat that was practically paper thin. The lettuce was soggy, hot and cooked with the burger. I tried deconstructing it to try to at least get some protein but I couldn't stomach it :( I hate being negative and I don't blame the server, she was not very friendly but I know how tough the service industry is and it's not her fault the food is bad. Sharing this to warn others like me, to not overpay for a bad meal and just go somewhere else!

Slow. Disorganized. ZERO communication. Zero stars for customer service. Overall a terrible experience. Multiple customers were sat and left because this place is awful. I was charged for everything listed, but only received the drink. Lady was rude when I asked for a refund and attempted to argue with me. I just walked away to grab food from a different place. Almost didn't make my connection because of this place.

Got to the airport early and wanted a place to stop, sit down, and eat. The food was good for an airport. It was our breakfast. The service was busy and not so personal. The greeter was great. Very friendly and talkative. This was right outside the main eating area, so it wasn't noisy, which was wonderful. If you're looking to sit down and eat, you might try this place out.

Stopped here for a bite to eat and drink before my flight home - definitely picked the wrong spot. Only pro - quick seating and overall service was quick as well. Asked for water with my margarita (which was $25), never received it. Scan code on table didn't work - kept pulling up another customer's order for a pulled pork sandwich. Chicken parm was basically a chicken finger with a piece of cheese on top of pasta. Way too expensive - wild that I had a $60 bill plus tip. Definitely will not return my next time to MDW.

Had a 5 hour layover and was looking for a place to sit and have dinner. My fiance decided on this place. We stood in line for approx 20-25 minutes before being seated. Lots of flights were delayed so it was pretty crowded. Service was quick. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and chicken wrap, both with fries. The alcoholic drink menu prices was OUTRAGEOUS so I chose to pass on that. The food came within a reasonable time frame and honestly it was surprisingly VERY GOOD! It didn't taste like I was eating at an airport. The pork was juicy with flavor and the wrap was fried and seasoned quite well. Although I do not prefer to spend my money on over priced airport food, this experience was well worth it.

Good service but typical airport food. Poor quality beef patty on my burger. Nicer place to sit and dine at Midway versus fast food but you pay for it. Prices are high.

Great spot I. The airport to sit down relax and get some good food and drinks. Table space is a little tight but manageable.

Chicago, Il. Not too bad for over priced airport food. The chicken Caesar was voluminous and ok. The chicken was the pre cooked kind that they get in huge bags. The surprise was the meatball appetizer served open faced on toast. It was actually very good. Probably not a great value at $18, but very typical at any airport, price wise. I think I had ice tea or something to drink but I can't remember a thing about it.

Waitress was the definition of rude. If I could do zero stars, I would. Rude to every customer she interacted with.

So we decided to try this spot, as they had vegetarian options for me and my wife. We ordered the veggie egg Benedict with hash browns, our son had banana Nutella crepe, and my friend had the bone steak with hash browns. Egg Benedicts was good but the hash browns were hard and under cooked. I've always ordered hash browns from different restaurants and they usually come done and toasted/crunchy so I was in an understanding that they come like this by default from any establishment. Was a little disappointed. I was too hungry and too early in the day that I didn't complain or sent it back, and just ate it anyway. I tried some of the crepe and it was just okay. My friend mentioned the tbone steak was just alright and his hash browns were undercooked and he end up not eating it too. Overall this place was just alright.

We were immediately welcomed and asked to pick a table to sit and relax while the remaining staff finished getting organized. We were happily greeted by Bahar, who took our order, offered suggestions and kept our morning brew full throughout our stay. Food came out hot and delicious , my friend had the daily special (vegetarian omelet, french toast, and hash browns) and I chose the Club Breakfast (egg whites with spinach/onions, french toast, turkey bacon, turkey sausage). Service was fast. Everything had a great flavor with a home cooked feel to it ! Great place for a relaxing bite after a long flight or if in the area looking for friendly/family service and a great meal!

Despite that I made my own lunch today I decided to splurge and give it a try. I've had Puerto Rican food before but it's usually up in the north side of Chicago and that in the south side especially by Midway airport. Anyways the rellanos de Papa was delicious and the feelings were b however the portion seem to be small that's why I'm glad I ordered too usually some of the Puerto Rican restaurants on north make their rellanos de Papa bigger. There bistec platter with fresh salad and Puerto Rican rice was delicious however their portions were small too. The bistec had a red sauce versus oily fried sauteed sauce with onion taste. They had a different take on it. I drank it with the traditional Malta India beverage like on picture. I finished it up with a cocoa flan. I would come back again it was actually up the par with the Puerto Rican restaurants up north it's just I'm surprised the portions are smaller and they didn't serve water. Thus 4 out of 5 stars. Service was pretty friendly and quick. Ambience had a more modern feel with the Puerto Rican Caribbean Spanish music in the background. This is my first time coming and yeah I would recommend if you are craving for Puerto Rican and you're at Midway airport now that I know where this is at

And it wasn't even enough to cover the plantains. It was insulting to say the least. There wasn't any love or pride in that. Honestly, I would appreciate a refund and a apology. I got the dinner dessert and a can of pop. I drove there bc I was heading out of town. My family and I enjoyed going to eat there regularly especially my mom's before she passed. It was our hang out spot. Please know that it hurts to have to share this review. Thank you
