On Monday, March 31, I dropped off a header at Gene's for repair. I had a race coming up that weekend and needed the header back no later than Wednesday. Greg had mentioned on the phone that they were extremely busy, and couldn't promise he could get it done in the time frame needed, but because just finding someone willing to work on a custom tubular header was a challenge, I decided to take a chance and drop it off. On Wednesday, I called around 2:00 to see if he was able to get to it. He told me he had just started it and would try and have it done that afternoon. Around 4:30, I called again and was informed he was half way there but would probably stay late and finish it. I asked him to give me a call when complete and I would pick it up that evening. Around 7:30 the call came and I went to the shop and picked it up. Not only was I pleased with the repair, but the price paid was very reasonable. More importantly to me was the fact that Greg cared enough to stay late and finish the project for me so that I could get my car together for the out of town race that weekend preventing me from forfeiting entry and hotel fees. Did some research and found this was the closest/cheapest muffler shop i could find that does mandrel bending. I called for a price on a friday for new exhaust piping for my Challenger to 2.5 inches and i would provide my own x pipe and mufflers. Greg told me between $250-$300. Thats about how much all other shops wanted to do crush bending. So i waited til monday to come in since theyre closed on weekends. Came in at 9:30am and it took them a while before they got to my car..maybe like 45 minutes. Once they got my car inside they got to work. They were done around 12:45pm. I went to pay and Greg said it woulds been $400 but since he quoted me less all i had to pay was $300. My exhaust sounds louder and im super happy. Just wish i wasnt standing around in the sun waiting too long when i got there. read more

I had a great experience here. I showed up with my flowmaster super 10 and requested an installation quote. The price was slightly higher than my original quote but that's because they hadn't taken a look under the car and noticed some custom pipe work would be involved. The final price was fair and much less than what I was quoted elsewhere. When I arrived there were 3 cars ahead so I asked if I could come back in about an hour and have them hold my spot (I live 10 minutes away) they were completely okay with that and I came back as promised. This place was legendary for its work in the 80's and 90's.
