Our experience was as easy as could be! I called and spoke to Austin and explained that I was getting my jeep towed to the shop because it wasn't starting. I gave him my warranty info and he basically took it from there. He confirmed what was covered, gave me a realistic timeframe and even followed up the next day to let me know when to expect my jeep to be ready for pick up. That's pretty unheard of for a shop, I truly appreciated the follow up. I was planning to call in the afternoon but he beat me to it in the morning. I have since bought a Tesla to add to my cars and although there isn't a lot of servicing needed, I have had tire trouble and tire replacement that has been necessary and I only let them handle because they are fast and fair! Yes car has lots of problems. Yes it should have been taken to a professional technician right away. But out of work, and having financial problems, I tried to do repairs myself. Spoke to Steve and I was willing to pay whatever it took to get my car working again, but to be so dismissive and say that you're too busy to waste your time on a car like that is unprofessional. Initially came in for a diagnosis since I had tried a few things in my own but didn't work. They are very professional and friendly. Found out my car needed a new catalytic converter after leaving my car for them to check out. They called and gave me options and pricing if I wanted them to fix it, which I thought was fair and reasonable. They gave me the option to take my car and return once they had my part or leave it for the next day. Opted to leave my car, the next day in the morning got a call and picked up my car in good condition. I wanted to wait until I went to smog check and drove the car a little until I wrote my review and happy to say my car passed the smog check and has been running great. These guys receive five stars because they are stand up fellas. First, I noticed when my wife would bring her suv there for service, it was the cleanest shop I have seen. That signals they care. I brought my specialty car in for a brake and rotor replacement. Even though we had some issues getting it right, there was never any question about the validity of the issue. All is well and resolved and they did a great job. Previously, they recommended I go to the dealer when a tensioner belt needed replacement as they knew this should be covered under warranty. Not your local trustworthy mechanic! I recently took my Kia Rio in for a check engine light. Mr Luzzi was quick to help and told me they would check out. After dropping off the car in the morning, I received a call from them in the afternoon and told me that my car was ready. When I picked up the car Mr Luzzi told me that the cost was $350 and they had to replace one 02 sensor (car has two). He also said that based on the obd2 code, it could also be a bad catalytic converter. After leaving the shop, I felt that he over charged me. After doing my own research, Autozone sells 02 sensors for $50, so Luzzi's labor charge is about $150/hr and he charged me for 2 hours for a 15 minute job. 2 weeks later, the check engine light turn back on. I ended up fixing the check engine light issue myself by buying a OBD2 device from Amazon for $30 and replacing the 2nd 02 sensor for $50 at Amazon and the 2nd 02 sensor at Autozone for $40 =total cost $80. So if you have a check engine light on, go to Autozone first and use a OBD reader for free. Some issues are simple fixes, otherwise, go to a mechanic you know you can trust. read more

I received a carefully figured price and the sum was fair priced & I accepted. I mentioned to Steven, keep the van for as long as you need to, no rush. I've been going to Steve for the past two years. He has done some big jobs for me including a full break job and replacing the engine on my 12 year old Nissan. I tried giving his shop a good long opportunity to resolve the mechanical issues and see THEM take care/stand behind their service/product choices. That has not been the result. So it's been less than one year and 12k miles that the used engine Steve recommended is giving me problems. Now this is a used engine that "most" likely has 50k miles. The engine which I paid close to $6k with labor is burning oil, has a noisy valve train, and a check engine light. Just before my oil change was due the engine oil was down two quarts. I tried talking to Steve about helping me out with the engine issues but all I get is more dollar signs ($$$). He's very difficult to talk to and is "always busy" and in a rush. Definitely not something I want to deal with every time I need a "simple" oil change. Last oil change I had was worth a whopping $750. I'm starting to get the feeling this place likes to start with the most expensive repair and go from there. This has been my experience with this shop. Straight shooters. While they'll let you know what services your car would benefit from, they won't make things sound more urgent than necessary. 3.) Good work. My car always runs like a champ after leaving their yard. 4.) Shuttle service. They have a driver to shuttle you to work or home, and then pick you up again. (Don't be too proud to ask.) Cons: 1.) Two days later the car wouldn't run. So called and was told to have it towed in on me. Steve didn't have an ounce of remorse in his voice that the car was no good two days after repairing it!
