I would like to give a big shout out to John and his son Donald at Aladdin mufflers. I have a Porsche 914 that has custom LS1 V8 installed. I have been to several muffler shops for about three months and no one would take the time to research a muffler for my car. I went to Aladdin muffler shop, not sure if they would still be in Business. I first spoke with Donald on a Saturday morning. Donald took the time and looked at the muffler and took all the measurements. He didn't have the muffler in stock and he would try to locate one for my car. I received a call from John which is Donald's father. He was able to locate the muffler that was needed. On Saturday morning 9/27/25 Donald was able to install the muffler for my car and did a great job. I remember going to this shop in the 60/70 with my dad! My uncle is uncomfortable with confrontation so he left and immediately told me they broke my driver seat. I had called them to let them know and they will not fix or help my seat at all. I took my classic car for an exhaust leak. The owner John was very nice and cool ! He repaired the problem fast. The only problem I had was driving up. I guess his family or son are in the office and don't even come out to greet me. I felt bad for John cause he is older and working under the lifts welding. HONEST GUY HERE !! I was having some vibrations noise coming from my muffler. Went to another shop and they welded a piece from the muffler to the frame. Now the vibration was transfered to my car, NO GOOD... Didnt want to go back to the 1st place i went to at all. The Only reason why i didnt come to Aladdin in the 1st place was bcuz they were closed at the time. Pulled into Aladdin and explained the problem. He had me pull in the car and then has a look at it. Shows me what the other shop did and explains how it was wrong. Cuts off the piece that the other shop weleded on then welds a crack on flange. Problem 100% Solved!! I ask him how much and he tells me to dont worry about it, no charge !! I tell him i have to give u something and he reluctantly says $10. I hand him a $20 and he shakes my hand and tells me Thank you !! Honorable, trustworty , honest people and a dying breed!! Do yourself a favor and come here!! Customer for life here !! read more

I really did not need my muffler repaired. I only pulled because my Check Engine Soon light came on and I asked if someone could check the code to see why. I don't know the names of either one of the gentlemen who took care to do this. The code had to do with my transmission (I had just had a new radiator put in elsewhere the day before and never had a problem with the transmission). Bottom line, they turned off code; told me if it came back on that it was something that the dealer should handle. I wanted to pay them because anywhere else it would've been $100 to check a code. Neither one would take any money. Soooooo if I ever have muffler problems, I definitely know where I'm going! Thank you gentlemen, very much. read more

If your wondering why this place is so cheap it's because they do a Half A$$ job!! Either that or they truly don't know what they're doing. Their work is $hitty and the welds they "fix" are bad and they Leak. Not only did they forget to tighten the bolts on the muffler but they also forgot to tighten the down pipes . It was so bad it was coming off on the freeway. No wonder they didn't charge a lot . Not only did WE (my family) have one bad experience, we've had a few and we tried to give them another chance, Smh. Our mistake. Never going here again. read more

John knows his stuff, however, I cannot say the same about his son. I got my resonators installed there and the son left my exhaust pipes hitting my fuel lines and tank making my car rattle like crazy not to mention he also left plenty of leaks on his welding. I had to come to a second shop to practically redo his work. My brother had a similar experience and when he went to ask them to readjust their work, John ended up charging him again for their mistakes. read more
