Terrible. I ordered lemon pepper wings. They tasted old and rubbery. They were precooked and refried and the flavor had no zing. This restaurant was attached to a hotel by a connecting pathway. When I was going back to the main building a young guy was standing on the pathway smoking marijuana. That did not feel safe to me. Dont they have cameras to monitor that area? The restaurant looks like the 80s. Maybe the rest of the food is good, but cancel the wings. read more

The service was mediocre. Typical Atlanta "you're lucky I showed up today" service. The Bartender had ZERO knowledge on the salads in the menu. The menu had ZERO description to give me any idea. I ordered their bucket of beer for 20 and normally they pop open a couple and then wait to open the rest. (At least the day bartender did) The bartender opened ALL 5. It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I'm only one person and I was planning to take the rest with me. NOW I'm forced to drink them or let the opened ones that are soon to be flat go to waste. To top it off I asked for more ice to put in the bucket at which I was told I needed to BRING THE BUCKET BACK. To which I said I'm not bringing it back. Then they got an attitude...they offered a 6pk holder which was fine and I took that in addition to the Togo box which they didn't give me a bag for and my all of my items. I told them I've ordered the bucket in the past and NEVER had they popped ALL 5 at once and they then gave me serious attitude AGAIN and then ignored me when I responded with my rebuttal. My boyfriend and I had literally the worst spaghetti we've ever had in our lives. It tasted like fish. I'm not kidding! We love spaghetti and couldn't eat it. We couldn't even smell it. We paid the bill and got OUT of there. The service was good, we didn't tell them it was bad. Awkward. read more

This place is good! I had the Beef Bulgolgi and would definitely eat it again. The portions were really generous and the food was delicious. I can only speak personally to trying the bulgolgi, but my entire party was happy with their meal. I initially did a double take when I saw Korean/American listed as the cuisine available at the hotel restaurant, and I'm really glad I checked it out! Kind of a hidden gem. read more

Bar attached to the Country Inn off Fayetteville Road. Place is a little older, but the food is decent. You get good portions for the price, good heavy pors in the drinks. Plus they offer discounts to the flight crews that stay there, given that's majority of the hotel's business (which the hotel tries to find ways to screw over, but that's another review). I've never had a bad meal, but some of the service has left a lot to be desired. There's a few regular waitstaff that are amazing, but it's those new ones that come and go, and I see why. read more

The Korean food here is made by a Korean woman it was very good! I ask for medium spicy and it was a little to spicy for me but I ate half and saved half for the next day. Very big portion. The service was also very good. I found a hidden gem. I will be back. read more

I placed an order for the beef ribs. What I received were bones, gristle and fat. There was about 20% of the ribs that was edible. I will never ever order food from Them again. If it was possible I would have gotten a refund and they could have kept those bones at the restaurant. I would give it a zero rating if I could. read more

For a hotel restaurant this place delivered well. Came in and got a Caesar salad, a big portion with fresh lettuce. They had local beers and quick service. My dining part got a burger and fries. A good size burger, though the fries are those thick steak fries. When you are in a pinch and need a place to eat, this is a good option. read more

I think as a hotel restaurant, it is very decent! I gave five star because of the genuine price! Nothing like other hotel restaurants, this is a restaurant serves decent food with price matching the quality. I had the sweetwater pale ale, pretty good but not really my thing. The beef steak was just 11.95! Good proportion and the steak was tender and juicy. Not bad at all! I would rather spend less money here and walk back to my room on my flip flops. read more

Went here because it was attached to the hotel. Service was very slow and the food was cooked from frozen not freshly made. I ordered the Genesis Combo which consisted of 3 stuffed mushrooms that were tasty. 3 buffalo style wingettes the chicken was old. 3 mozzarella sticks I wasn't impressed. 3 potstickers they were okay and 1 chicken finger cut in half again not fresh frozen. My son ordered chicken fingers and fried he ate them. My daughter ordered shrimp pasta but received chicken pasta the chicken was seasoned well but had to add some seasoning to the pasta it came a biscuit that was really good. read more

Pleasantly surprised when I checked in to find a grill attached to the hotel. Very plain decor-but convenient with good food. Typical hole in the wall bar food. most of the food is cooked from frozen, the Philadelphia cheese steak sandwich was falling apart. The staff is nice and friendly. When I ordered my chicken tenders I was asked what sauce I wanted, I said barbecue and I got honey mustard instead. Food is reasonably priced for what it is. Not bad... a bit on the pricey side for the kind of food they serve, but we enjoyed our meals. My only complaint is that chappy boom box they have near the fireplace playing crappy music. The only reason that I rated this restaurant a 1 star is because zero wasn't available. One of our groups of five waited over an hour and 15 minutes before they were fully served. Add a 20 minute wait time before they were even able to order, makes for quite the uncomfortable evening. One person in the group of five her order came out 40 minutes before the other four. On the last of the meals delivered, one of those was totally fouled up. My blackened catfish order should've been called browned catfish. Large price, small portions. One waitress large crowd. Owner looked haggard, stressed. It was obvious she had not planned for such a crowd. Felt bad for the waitress ... my advice: if it is crowded and only one waitress on duty, go somewhere else, anywhere else. (By the way, after asking for compenpense, she offered 15%. So since my family was staying at the hotel where Genesis is At we ate dinner there last night. So we where there about 4:30pm to eat dinner and yes I know that is early but when you have been up 24 hours you are ready for bed. Anyway. When we first walked in it looked nice. We sat down and the table was sticky so sticky that when I finally got silverware it stuck to the table. Not to mention that when we got there we where the only customers. It took forever to get 4 sandwich's which by the way where cold sandwich for 3 and 1 hot hot sandwich. The fries where so hard that they where kinda hard to chew. It was a big disappointment to say the least. Then when I got the check. I was flabbergasted cause while I paid for 2 meals and my mom paid for 2 meals we had an 18% tip added to the bill. Not cool I did not see it anywhere where they stayed they automatically added the tip in maybe I missed it on the menu but I did not see it anywhere else. I guess I would not have had an issue with it if it had not taken so long for our drinks to come to us and food. Cause we did not get drinks till right before the food came. Then when our drinks where out we had to wave the lady down for refills. After that there where about 3 other tables that had come in and we never saw her again till we had to hunt down the lady for the check. You better believe she was on it little rice when it came time to pay. It was the quickest I had seen her move the whole time. The place really could use some TLC since we had plenty of time to look around it looked like it might start falling apart and could use some repair. So we won't be back. read more

this is attached to the hotel, as you walk to enter the Bar, you walk through the smokers section. employees were smoking and it stunk. i got the blackened catfish, my friend got the rib eye. catfish was over cooked and tasted bad, the fries were good. coleslaw had too much vinegar. Rib Eye was tough. mashed potatoes and gravy looked like they came from a box. I would not eat here again. service was good, the food was bad. read more

Stopped in for a dinner and had 3 people. We were seated right away, the beer was 5 for $20. The appetizers were good (mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, pot stickers, breaded mushrooms). I had a Genesis burger that was perfect and one of the other person in my group had the same and enjoyed it, the 3rd person in our group had the grilled chicken sandwich and was pleased with it. We did not expect much going to the restaurant connected to an airport hotel so this place was a pleasant surprise. The Korean beef bulgogi was very good. It had a generous amount of tender pieces of meat in a flavorful sauce with shredded carrots and pieces of onion. It came with a large portion of white rice. Because I wanted more vegetables, I also ordered the side of mixed vegetables, which was about 2 cups of perfectly steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and sliced carrots. I think the veggies may have had some melted butter sauce on them, but it was not overwhelming. I just put the veggies and meat dish on top of the rice and it was delicious! Tip: both my husband and I ordered the Korean beef bulgogi and it was too much food. Unless you are a big eater, one order plus the veggies would be enough for two. I would have loved to be able to box up and take our leftovers but we're getting on a flight in the morning. Also note that Genesis does have a bar and serves mixed drinks, wine and bottled beer. No beer on tap though. read more
