Came by to try their lunch special, which is offered Monday to Friday 12-4 for dine-in only. I dropped by for lunch on Wed around 1 pm and it wasn't crowded at all, with only 2 other tables occupied. As part of the lunch special, you can get the below dishes for $12.99: -kimchi jjigae / kimchi stew -deonjang jjigae / soybean paste stew -tteok mandu guk / dumpling and rice cake stew -sulung tang / beef soup They have a large menu of regular Korean dishes as well, but I didn't look too closely at it because I was here for the lunch special. I got the dumpling and rice cake stew. There wasn't much beef and it only comes with 4 dumpling, so it was light on the meat and heavy on the rice cakes, but I really enjoyed the flavor of the soup. It's served with some complimentary banchan as well: corn, bean sprouts, mashed potato, and kimchi, so I thought overall it was pretty good value. For dessert, we went next door and ordered a mango bingsoo / shaved ice from Boba Go. It was SO good and a great way to end the meal! This is one of the most ingredient filled soups I've ever had. Egg and beef plus dumplings?? It's just missing a little bit of vermicelli noodles and then it would have been perfect. Hodori 365 surprised me, since I had associated Hodori with a spot in LA - didn't expect one this close! It's attached to a boba shop, but I visited one night after climbing nearby, hungry for dinner! Service was on the slower end, though everything is otherwise welcoming and efficient. Korean food is no stranger to my belly, but I definitely had to try their chewy noodles (jjolmyeon) and wow did it hit the spot! It's like bibimbap in that it does require some mixing, but the presentation was neat and organized. Each ingredient was different enough in that you could enjoy the sweets, the sours, and the changes in texture with the occasional palate cleanse from cucumber and carrots. That, or you can mix everything together - both tasty options! I also tried their chicken noodle soup, a dish much tastier in my mind. The amount of noodles was generous but chicken not so much. Everything tasted as expected of boiled chicken, not too exciting but you know it'll be healthy. Their side dishes here are amazing, and they always unfortunately need a double serving (for me, a party of one). Their kimchi is amazing, their corn is unique, the mashed potatoes have apple - yum - and can't go wrong with some well-marinated bean sprouts. Was seated immediately on a Friday at 4 PM, which was great. The space is big, staff were friendly, and there's plenty of parking in the lot. Ordered the kimchi fried rice and medium beef galbi. The fried rice portion was large. Definitely enough for 2-3 people and really tasty! The galbi had great flavor, was cooked perfectly, and super tender with good quality meat. This new Korean food spot is an absolute must try!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and have a great sense of humor! Lots of parking outside since it is shared with the target and Kohl's shoppers. Replaced the old epic wings spot and plenty of seating inside! They have HUGE portions here. Definitely share with your friends and family. Pricing is a bit all over the place but for the amount of food you get, it is absolutely worth it. We didn't realize how big the portions were so it looked like we barely touched anything lol but made for great leftovers for the week! I am so glad we found this gem! According to our server, Hodori 365 has only been open for about a month, but they are already on our rotation of good Korean restaurants in the valley. We tried the Soon Tofu and the Galbi, and both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, the Soon Tofu was probably the best I've had in the Valley in a very long time. My family and I used to drive all the way to K-Town just to get high-quality Soon Tofu, but we don't have to make that trek anymore! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. We've already been back a second time with a larger group, and the consensus was unanimous: this is exactly what we've been looking for in the Valley. Highly recommend! read more

Came on a recommendation and was glad I did. We ordered the kalbi jjim with extra cheese, which is a family size meal (and honestly feels out of place in a menu that's geared towards single entrees) and it was a ton of food, enough for 4 people! It comes with sides and they will provide gloves and bibs if needed - and I needed them, I never do well with saucy Korean food. The waiters were also very attentive as well. Personally, I would have liked more French fries in the dish, and maybe more napkins, but we had our own to supplement. We tried Hondori in Northridge and I'm already looking forward to going back!!! We ordered the Kimchi Bokkeumbap, Chicken Bulgogi, and Jjolmyeon, everything was so delicious and the portions were super generous. Definitely made the mistake of ordering way too much for just two people no complaints because we had amazing leftovers. My personal favorite was the kimchi fried rice it was packed with flavor and so satisfying. The restaurant itself is simple but nicely decorated, and I appreciated how well-spaced the tables were. This would be such a great late-night spot too. Everyone was really attentive and friendly. There's even a boba spot connected to the restaurant, which I'm definitely trying next time we were just way too full this time around. Overall I was impressed with everything. Excited to see Hodori opened in the Northridge area. I've been going to the original Ktown location since the 90s as a late night hangout. Happy to report that the Korean comfort food here is similar although slightly less variety. The food quality is solid and authentic. Enjoyed the short rib hangover soup, beef bulgogi, pork donkatsu and fish roe soup. Everything was well portioned and fairly priced. Another awesome dine in experience. The Korean guy waiter is extra great. He's always there when we are and makes sure we have a good experience. Kid loves the giant TV with the Disney channel on. Good for having her chill while the parents get a good meal!! We like the bulgogi omurice (fried rice in an egg omelette) and hot stone bulgogi. The hot stone takes a little bit of time to heat up! This place knows what it is and gives it to you as the best of its kind. It's basic Korean fare, nothing fancy, but fresh and good and satisfying. We loved it. The service is friendly and clear with info on some of the more obscure offerings on the extensive menu. At first I was taken aback by some of the pricing--$33 for bulgogi? Then I saw the size of the order and realized that plate could easily satisfy four people. The same's true with the short ribs, priced somewhere around $55. We had beef bulgogi in the stone pot with a lot of veggies at a very reasonable $17 or so. Don't hold me on those prices. I can't recall the exact amounts. The meats were of good quality. Beef bulgogi can come gristly, but not at this place. Tender and delicious. Ditto the phenomenal spicy pork, which will now be always on our order. Hot stuff! No stinting on the heat and spiciness here. The best! There was a nice assortment of Korean extras, 'natch, although less than one might expect in a more upscale place in K-town. The kimchi was surprisingly mild, but still a nice taste. You can order more which they brought us at no extra cost. The dumplings were large and good. Not necessarily top of the line good, but good, if a little bland. We may not order those again. Those stone pots and that outstanding pork made our first meal there memorable, and we know we'll return to eat our way through the menu. Too many good-sounding things to eat! The room's pleasant, but large with little in the way to make it cozy or intimate. The style's the same as many authentically Asian places-- clean, brightly lit and attractive, in a well-kept bus station kind of way. It fit our day nicely. We just wanted a place to drop in for a pleasant meal. No fancy night out, no special occasion. Just dinner. Did I sell you on this place? Hope so. The food here was delicious! Everything was full of flavor. The sauce from the noodles in the Rabokki dish was addicting. So good. The kimchi stew was also very flavorful! We were waiting for Hodori 365 to open up. Sad to see we missed it by a couple weeks, but glad we were able to make it in. Obviously with it being new, the restaurant was super clean. However, I love that Hodori 365 did not skimp on the details. And me, I'm all about the fine details. I believe it can really set you apart from the others. When you focus on the small details it means you care about every aspect from A to Z. We were sat right away. Place setting was really cute, and clean. We ordered the donkatsu/kunmandu combo, they both were great! I ordered the galbi ugeoji haejangguk (hangover soup) I prefer my galbi to be fall off the bone tender, however the taste was delicious and was very warming on a cold night like tonight. My hubs ordered the mul naengmyun, it had a funny taste, but the staff must have been watching closely because as soon as we questioned it, without hesitation they came over and recitified it immediately. They made him a new bowl and the taste was much better! Banchan was fresh and delicious! All the food tasted great! We aren't sure if it was because we were hungry. Or if it in fact, just delicious. It was my first time in here I was so excited to see that everything in the menu looked great. We got here like 40 minutes to closing and I was just planning on getting something small just to try the place out. I was taking the order to go. I end up getting the ramen noodle soup its fast and filling. I get the soup ten minutes in. I'm walking out and see a man seating in the patio chair so I sit and try the soup I ordered. Soon as I open it, I can smell the spice in it, so I proceed and try it. Very spicy. I made sure it didn't say it didn't have any spice. So I go in and try to get a soup with no spice or simply just something else with no spice. The waitress was very easy to talk to but the man that was outside seating in the patio walks in and walks straight to her and interrupts us and proceeds to ask her if she told the people outside they could sit outside. I said excuse we are speaking here and he continued to ignore me and ask her very rudely why she didn't say anything and what is wrong with her. Very obviously at this point I know this is the owner. I felt bad for her being yelled at and his demeanor towards her. That i just told her it was okay and walked out picked up my bag with soup when inside and just deposed of it. He did not care he did not care that she was speaking to a customer. Just yelled at her she seem very uncomfortable we didn't even get to mention that the soup was spicy and it did not have that detail in the menu when ordered. Bad customer service from the owner. Not the waitress. She needs a new job asap. The behavior is not okay. And regardless of being the boss, no one deserves to be talked to that way especially at a business location from the actual owner. Bad look. I don't support owners like this. The food here was really good. I especially enjoyed the spicy beef soup, and the side dishes were what you'd expect. I came in about 30 minutes before closing and was told I could only order takeout, which was disappointing. If dine in is not available during that time, it would be helpful to have a sign or note that clearly says so. If a restaurant is listed as open until 11, I think it's fair to expect dine in to be available until then. I ended up eating my soup in the car, which was not ideal. Visited this new restaurant for the first time, they just opened last month! The place is really big and spotless, which I appreciate. Service was warm and welcoming from the start. The banchan spread was fantastic, I could eat that sweet corn forever. For my meal, I had the Galbi Tang. It was packed with flavor, though the short rib was a little on the tough side. My husband got the Galbi Ugeoji Haejangguk and was really happy with it. He found it mildly spicy and said the broth was on point. Really promising new spot! We'll be back to try more. read more

For the valley, I would say this place is solid! My usual spot is in Ktown BCD tofu house but in the valley I would usually go to Jincook. I heard about this place when it recently opened and the food was pretty good! We also got a coupon to redeem at their boba shop which is right next to each other. I believe it's with the same company but convenient if you're craving for boba / drink after your meal. I got the mango slushie and it was really good! read more

FINALLY! A super delicious authentic Korean restaurant. Came here because we saw it on Yelp and decided to try it out. Normally my boyfriend and I go all the way to Koreatown for authentic Korean food. But this is definitely going to be our new go-to spot. The ambiance is so nice, so clean and pleasant. The the food was outstanding! We got the kimchi jiggae, soon tofu soup, and the fried pork dumplings. All were delicious, 10/10 would recommend. The Service was amazing as well, super good service. The waitress literally replaced our empty bachans without us even having to ask. The corn and cucumber kimchi banchan were my favorite by far. Try this place ! You won't regret it read more

I ordered the Galbi-tang for pickup, but when I arrived, it wasn't ready. I had to wait a long time, and the staff didn't even excuse for the delay. They also charged an extra $1 for the to-go container. The biggest disappointment was the food itself. The meat had a very strong, unpleasant smell. I couldn't even eat it and ended up throwing most of the meat away after just drinking some of the broth. read more
