This is one of the most ingredient filled soups I've ever had. Egg and beef plus dumplings?? It's just missing a little bit of vermicelli noodles and then it would have been perfect. The broth was just ok. Banchan was decent. Overall a great spot. This spot is located in a plaza with a lot of parking.

Hodori 365 surprised me, since I had associated Hodori with a spot in LA - didn't expect one this close! It's attached to a boba shop, but I visited one night after climbing nearby, hungry for dinner! Service was on the slower end, though everything is otherwise welcoming and efficient. Korean food is no stranger to my belly, but I definitely had to try their chewy noodles (jjolmyeon) and wow did it hit the spot! It's like bibimbap in that it does require some mixing, but the presentation was neat and organized. Each ingredient was different enough in that you could enjoy the sweets, the sours, and the changes in texture with the occasional palate cleanse from cucumber and carrots. That, or you can mix everything together - both tasty options! I also tried their chicken noodle soup, a dish much tastier in my mind. The amount of noodles was generous but chicken not so much. Everything tasted as expected of boiled chicken, not too exciting but you know it'll be healthy. Their side dishes here are amazing, and they always unfortunately need a double serving (for me, a party of one). Their kimchi is amazing, their corn is unique, the mashed potatoes have apple - yum - and can't go wrong with some well-marinated bean sprouts. I'm definitely going to be returning... not only is parking easy BUT they also have lunch specials. I just need to return for a lunch break one day!

Was seated immediately on a Friday at 4 PM, which was great. The space is big, staff were friendly, and there's plenty of parking in the lot. Ordered the kimchi fried rice and medium beef galbi. The fried rice portion was large. Definitely enough for 2-3 people and really tasty! The galbi had great flavor, was cooked perfectly, and super tender with good quality meat. Only downside is I wish there was a bit more for the price. Overall, a solid experience and I'd definitely come back to try more dishes.

This new Korean food spot is an absolute must try!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and have a great sense of humor! Lots of parking outside since it is shared with the target and Kohl's shoppers. Replaced the old epic wings spot and plenty of seating inside! They have HUGE portions here. Definitely share with your friends and family. Pricing is a bit all over the place but for the amount of food you get, it is absolutely worth it. We didn't realize how big the portions were so it looked like we barely touched anything lol but made for great leftovers for the week! Things we ordered: - Delicious banchan (side dishes) - Japchae (the best I've ever had) - Spicy Pork - Omurice (surprised they had it on the menu) - Chicken Bulgogi Fantastic quality. Don't have to cook the bbq yourself. Worth it. I want to come back already! IG: @ammysalamii

cold noodles were really refreshing and tasty! I loved the bibimbap the portions are pretty big fyi! There's a bunch of other menu items I would like to try next time. not pictured but we ordered kalbi which was perfectly juicy and flavorful. the inside is large and very clean. Service was good

I am so glad we found this gem! According to our server, Hodori 365 has only been open for about a month, but they are already on our rotation of good Korean restaurants in the valley. We tried the Soon Tofu and the Galbi, and both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, the Soon Tofu was probably the best I've had in the Valley in a very long time. My family and I used to drive all the way to K-Town just to get high-quality Soon Tofu, but we don't have to make that trek anymore! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. We've already been back a second time with a larger group, and the consensus was unanimous: this is exactly what we've been looking for in the Valley. Highly recommend!

Kalbi jjim (short ribs with some vegetables, rice cakes and fries, doused in sauce and cheese). Enough for 4 people!

Came on a recommendation and was glad I did. We ordered the kalbi jjim with extra cheese, which is a family size meal (and honestly feels out of place in a menu that's geared towards single entrees) and it was a ton of food, enough for 4 people! It comes with sides and they will provide gloves and bibs if needed - and I needed them, I never do well with saucy Korean food. The waiters were also very attentive as well. Personally, I would have liked more French fries in the dish, and maybe more napkins, but we had our own to supplement. After dinner, it's just a few steps to the boba place attached to it if you're looking for some dessert as well!

We tried Hondori in Northridge and I'm already looking forward to going back!!! We ordered the Kimchi Bokkeumbap, Chicken Bulgogi, and Jjolmyeon, everything was so delicious and the portions were super generous. Definitely made the mistake of ordering way too much for just two people no complaints because we had amazing leftovers. My personal favorite was the kimchi fried rice it was packed with flavor and so satisfying. The restaurant itself is simple but nicely decorated, and I appreciated how well-spaced the tables were. This would be such a great late-night spot too. Everyone was really attentive and friendly. There's even a boba spot connected to the restaurant, which I'm definitely trying next time we were just way too full this time around. Overall I was impressed with everything. Can't wait to come back!

Excited to see Hodori opened in the Northridge area. I've been going to the original Ktown location since the 90s as a late night hangout. Happy to report that the Korean comfort food here is similar although slightly less variety. The food quality is solid and authentic. Enjoyed the short rib hangover soup, beef bulgogi, pork donkatsu and fish roe soup. Everything was well portioned and fairly priced. Service was fast and friendly in a new and hip atmosphere.

Finally it's open!! We had lunch here after attending mass and... Ambience: I love how spacious the interior is, it is very clean, neat and lots of seating. Service: we were greeted by the staff who was very friendly and accomodating. She'snalso very attentive and when we asked for extra banchans for seconds, she was so sweet when she said "of course" Food: we ordered the Steamed Dumplings, seafood soon tofu ans the Spicy Pork Bulgogi - everything taste amazing! The service portion is very decent for the price. The dumplings were huge, the seafood tofu soup - so good!! I'm so glad they opened here in SFV - no need to drive to Ktown...

    Spacious!

Another awesome dine in experience. The Korean guy waiter is extra great. He's always there when we are and makes sure we have a good experience. Kid loves the giant TV with the Disney channel on. Good for having her chill while the parents get a good meal!! We like the bulgogi omurice (fried rice in an egg omelette) and hot stone bulgogi. The hot stone takes a little bit of time to heat up! This place is open late!!! It's also spacious for large parties and big groups. They're working on their alcohol license. Soon they'll have soju!!!

The owners son is just embarrassing prank calling a grown woman. I called twice after to try and tell him to stop calling me.
    Gia C.

Do not go here! Extremely rude and condescending business who doesn't value repeat customers. The owners son and the girl who is at the front doesn't mind making fun of customers and refused to help find a solution to me wanting to pay for a simple side dish added to an order I made. So much so that the owners son kept prank calling my phone multiple times!! What weirdo does that, calling me from The restaurant and blocked numbers!! When I told him I was in the middle of leaving a yelp review and that I would report him to the police, that's when he finally stopped calling so clearly it was him. What kind of weirdo does this to paying customers? This is what I get for ordering food here? This experience literally was so disturbing and left such a bad taste in my mouth. I hope his mother the owner deals with him bc it's so bad for business. SMH and he even got my Last review deleted..

Everything was really good!! I saw the bad reviews and realized that some customers are so rude. The food was delicious and had big portions and service was good for a casual dinner. Very simple and delicious to be honest. I ordered the Japchae which is the glass noodle stir fry and it was delicious. I also got the beef bulgogi which was tasty I will definitely come back with my friends!

The menu was on laminated paper which must be a few years old and felt disgusting to touch. I started with hot tea and it was served in a metal cup. I wish they served it in a nice ceramic container for customer's enjoyment. For lunch, we ordered chicken chow mein and their pork and crab dumpling (like a xiao long bao). The chicken chow mein had a boatload of cabbage and probably 10 strips of chow mein noodles. It should have been called cabbage noodles (lol). The pork and crab dumplings would have been a hit, but the dumpling shell had a "soapy" smell. The meat inside was soft and tasted good, but I couldn't get over the smell of the shell. We would have also wanted to try seaweed salad, but it was unavailable on this day. The parking at Northern Cafe is plenty. The staff is also courteous. But given the state of the food and overall feel, I give it only two stars. Truthfully, you can find better Chinese food close by this area. There's Maru Ramen on Reseda and Nordhoff, or Silverlake Ramen on Rinaldi. And no, I don't work for either of those places. All of this feedback is based on customer experience.

Beef noodle soup: to be very blunt, this was quite flavorless. The beef was dry as bones and looked like it was sliced with a mandoline. The noodles seemed undercooked and it felt like I was eating al dente spaghetti noodles. I got a medium spice level which didn't even seem that spicy, just a lot of cough inducing chili oil with no burn. Pan fried dumplings were ok. It honestly tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Unsweetened black tea: hands down the best of the 3 things in the combo, which is quite telling. But to constantly take the top 5 for recommended on Yelp in this area and waste my time to even look at it, it definitely doesn't belong remotely close to top 10.
