Solid spot for Vietnamese food. We like to be a bit leisurely for dinner. Wanted to enjoy a few beers, but they wanted us to order so we ordered quickly. Keep in mind the food will come out fast so if you are ordering multiple dishes you may want to space it out. All was good, not like in Vietnam but that's ok. Pho was solid, proper sauces right there on the table. Ban Xeo was as not as thin and crispy as I like. The banh mi was a pleasant surprise. It's all about the bread and theirs was pretty good, especially at only $11. Spring roll was good with lots of peanut sauce so made me happy. Beers do not show on the menu on line but were $6.50 each. Metered parking in front for $2.50.

I think I've officially found one of the best pho spots in the SFV -- Pho21 is a family-owned gem that delivers on flavor. Once inside, you feel like you are in someone's home. Everybody was just friendly and ready to take your order. Parking can be a bit tricky (there's a small lot in the back), but it's worth the effort. I ordered my usual -- beef and tendon pho (Pho Xe Lua) along with the chicken egg rolls. Service was quick and on point. The pho? Super flavorful, rich, and comforting. It honestly reminded me of the quality and depth of flavor you'd find in the SGV -- which says a lot. The egg rolls may be small, but don't let that fool you -- they're packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. Easily some of the best Vietnamese egg rolls I've had in the SFV so far. I also noticed they have a solid selection of com tam on the menu, so I'll definitely be back to explore more. This is officially my go-to spot whenever I'm craving pho or Vietnamese food.

Was looking for a place to have Pho and crispy tofu and Pho 21 offered both. The crispy tofu was just ok and basic compared to others I have tried. The shrimp spring roll was heavy on greens and overtook the roll. The Pho was good and the broth was very tasty. They did not skimp on the meat at all. Service was prompt and the staff was very friendly. They seem to do a lot in take out have and loads of regulars.

I love Pho & been to many Pho places... this might be one of the best ones I've been to! The Pho broth was so good and the Fried Spring Rolls were very delicious too! I ordered the #6 PHỞ TÁI CHÍN BÒ VIÊN Beef Noodle Soup with Beef Meatballs, Brisket and Rare Steak! Yummy! Small clean restaurant but it was packed! Amazing service and clean bathroom! I will definitely remember this place next time I'm in the area and craving Pho! One of the best!

I ate at Pho 21 for the first time recently and I'm sad I'm only just getting around to it! It was so good -- and that's saying a lot coming from someone who grew up in the OC with a plethora of amazing Vietnamese spots to choose from. My mom ordered the Bánh Xèo and I had the seafood pho... incredible. Warm, hearty, rich broth -- truly so well done. I'll definitely be back! My daughter had a shrimp spring roll and loved it too. This place is a super solid Valley option for Vietnamese food and easily one of my favorites nearby to date!

I Heard about Pho 21 and I am happy that I was able to try it. The pho was Amazing!!! The broth had very good flavor and the chicken was seasoned so well. My top 3 pho places in the valley now. I also ordered the ginger wings that were very tasty and much flavor! I recommend ordering! The service was very good and attentive. Exceptional customer service and provided good options. Really fast service as well. The ambiance is nice inside and clean with cute decor! The menu is very large and so many choices. *Note* they are closed on Tuesdays -Marshay D.

Stopped in for a non soup plate of Chinese broccoli chicken over rice. I gotta say it was exactly what I was craving. It satisfied the palette and was cooked to a great taste. This place is always busy and the kitchen is delivering the goods.

Great little place, absolutely everything was fantastic here. The quality of the pho with steak what's really good, and I could tell the quality of the meat was excellent. The other two I just reordered were the egg roll and the spring roll, all which were very good. All tasted fresh with plenty of flavor. Definitely a return customer here!

i appreciate the extensive vegan/vegetarian menu here! overall, very solid options, but haven't found my standout dish here yet. the tofu spring rolls are great and a must order! as for the vegan pho with vegetables, i found it a bit bland and wasn't a huge fan. the bun bo hue with imitation beef was more flavorful, but i think they could still add more spice and acidity! parking is in the back, and service is fast and attentive. i'm sure i will keep coming back!

Brought relatives in recently and they have already returned twice! There's something here for everyone in your family....beef, seafood, chicken, duck, fish and even vegetarian and vegan! We have loved everything wr have tried and still havent tried it all. This is a great weekly/bi-weekly destination. Bon appetit!

Chicken eggroll & #3 - Pho Tai - Pho with Rare Steak. Thai Tea and it was all delicious! :). Thank you Tai for great service!

Great Pho! Ordered #3 Pho w rare steak, small and it's still a lot to eat! Half order of chicken egg rolls! Tai suggested my selections and they were delicious! Thank you for your great service Tai

Can't believe there's nice Vietnamese restaurant in this area! I came to Pho 21 recently and walked away pretty impressed. It's located on a busy street, but you can find street parking on the cross streets. There's also a small parking lot in the alley behind the restaurant. When my friend and I came for dinner on a Sunday evening around 6 pm, it wasn't too crowded. We were seated immediately. The menu has many pages and offers a diverse range of options for Vietnamese food between noodle soups, vermicelli and rice dishes, as well as stir fries. There's also two full pages dedicated to vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered the fried spring rolls ($10) to share and each ordered our own entree. I got the #17 bun rieu with snails ($14.95) and my friend got SV2 vegetarian noodle soup with deep fried tofu ($14.95). We absolutely loved the spring rolls. One order comes with 6 and we killed them. They were perfectly crispy and the filling inside had good flavor. We both enjoyed our noodle soups as well. I was expecting more in my bun rieu like tofu or meatballs, but I think the way they make it here is different from what I'm used to. Still, the broth had really good flavor, and I really liked the snails that came with the soup. My friend enjoyed his vegetarian noodle soup as well. It came chock-full of veggies and tofu. I think we've found our new favorite Vietnamese spot in the valley! Will definitely come back again.

Again, again, and again, this place serves great Vietnamese food. The pho is perfection. We also ordered a side dish that was excellent. We really like the people here, we will continue coming back here as often as we can

Ask the Community - Pho 21

Do you have vegan egg rolls?

    Yes, we do.

    Anyone know if they're open?

Sadly, they are closed. I tried calling several times until I finally drove there and saw the sign on their door saying they were closed until further notice. I wish they'd update their website though. Or even Yelp.

Are any of the soups vegetarian?

Yes. Click on the "Full menu" link. It will take you to Pho 21's website where there is a "Vegetarian and Vegan" section.

When are you guys reopening? I've been checking Yelp for over a week and it still says you're closed for special hours.

The young lady that took the order and greeted me when I walked in was nice. The restaurant itself, for the brief moment I was in to collect my order, was large and clean. I ordered both Shrimp Spring Rolls and Chicken Sticks, which are described as 'Grilled chicken leg satay, topped with peanuts and served with peanut sauce.' The Spring Rolls were a nice size and freshly made, but lacking in traditional mint, which wasn't listed in the description and sure makes a difference. The peanut sauce was okay, but again, lacking in flavor. The Chicken Sticks were a surprise. When I opened the container, it looked like thins "sheets" of chicken squares, folded and skewered, and glazed with sauce. I was expecting more of chunks of chicken, like a Thai satay stick. A Yelp pic from Dianna H a few months ago shows the folded pieces, but thicker and not as glazed. I should've read her review and skipped the skewers. Neither mine nor hers was topped with peanuts and I didn't receive a side of peanut sauce with the chicken sticks. What really surprised me is the chicken was cold. Not, "your order has been waiting and is no longer hot," but out of the refrigerator cold, which made the thin sheets tough to chew. My craving wasn't satisfied, but I was no longer hungry. Cheers!
