Kinda creepingly charming... If u will
    Brandy D.

Hotel is older style but charming, very quaint. Pros: The room was updated and had granite counter tops, refrigerator, coffee pot, nice furnishings, gorgeous views, private, and relaxing. Cons: Shared balcony, Ice machine was in the water heater room. No Bath tub. Nobody was around town. We were the only occupants in the hotel at the time. There is a nice park across the street. A country store is located in the hotel below the rooms. There is one historical bar a little ways down the road which had two people in it. The town is very small; nearest gas station is 10 minutes away in Minden. (We didn't plan on staying here....long story how we ended up here)

Good price, well decorated, good size rooms with a good location for those doing anything in Genoa. We spent our anniversary here in the middle of Winter, after having dinner at La Ferme. Great option instead of driving home on icy roads!

    Beautiful room

We would highly recommend this Inn. It is in a very historical and quaint community. Check in was very easy and we were pleasantly surprized with the size and quality of our room. It also had a little balcony to seat and view the town. It is not a bed and breakfast but there are enoungh nice restaurants to choose from. The Inn has recently be renovated and they have done a excellent job.

Bre went above and beyond showing me where everything was, I'm actually suprised she isn't a manager. Bre took time to listen to the concerns and made sure we got a call back the next morning and literally is an all star. Holiday inn isn't holiday inn with Bre to our family from now on. The cabin is amazing and extremely clean, it has a full on washer and dryer built in and all cooking utensils. It's a big resort and has had new management since and honestly it all for it. The marketplace and jacuzzi were extremely clean and there's plenty of parking and very very quiet. Only con is that it's a resort away from a resort in Lake Tahoe itself. You have to drive through a treacherous snake-like road for 10 miles before finding the resort. But hey, it's the best bang for the buck and honestly I didn't want to leave a review because of how great it was and didn't want prices to go up. I would have to minus one star though because my Priceline resort fee was suppose to be $38, but I was charged $79.10 at the counter.

Now the sales people because I've called them losers and I've said things that are not very nice how are now blocking their phone numbers and calling me in the middle of the night and during the day. I have tried to call the phone number back and get a supervisor and they act like they're getting a supervisor and then they just hang up and then they say that I hung up. I did not hang up. There isn't any type of recorded calls in place. There isn't any responsible type of supervisor in place to monitor that these sales people are not harassing people. Most of all they're not even monitoring these phone calls to make sure that the people that they are calling or not on the federal do not contact list. I have been registered with the FCC for a decade. I never gave anybody permission to be calling my phone number to harass me about attending this timeshare and purchasing this vacation package. I have contacted the general manager of David and Wallys Hot Springs Resort Because I cannot get these calls to stop.

The townhomes are beautiful and have 3 levels. I see they've made some improvements- probably based on families. The stairs are steep, so with two kids running around, it can be nerve wrecking. I saw they added nice child gates to the top of their sets of stairs. In the townhomes, you have 3 levels and 2 patios: one patio on the second floor (living area with a half bath) with an egg chair and table setting. The third level is the bed space and that patio has the soaking tub and a little seating area. Their main bathroom is huge- beautiful modern shower with a huge soaking tub for two. The soaking tub takes some agility getting in and out, but is nice and deep and has jets. It takes a while to fill up, but once it does, it's really relaxing. We love how both walls next to the sliding glass doors on both levels have a see thru fireplace. Such a cute, romantic detail that's nice to have running while you're relaxing. The heated floors in the bathroom are an added perk. Oh! And you get your own garage- even though you still have to access the home from outside the garage. They are incredible accommodating. They have a list of things offered on request like kids toys, hygiene kits, ironing board, etc. They get added points for having those really expensive amazing Dyson hair dryers as their hair drying option too It's one of our favorite places to stay!

The snack bar was by far an insult. $6 for a cheep burrito $250 for a standard chocolate bar. Sodas we $2 and the microwaveable foods were $6 plus dollars for the very same food sold in stores for half the cost. The price gouging was absurd. Now the complementary breakfast was terrible. Paper thin over cooked bacon with under cooked sliced potatoes that were un seasoned. The powder eggs were not even recognizable. Our mini fridge and TV had been unplugged and I asked for help to see what was wrong. Desk clerk said unplug the TV then plug it back in and it should work. Well that obviously was wrong.
