It only took me a couple minutes to book online on a Monday afternoon, getting an appointment at the office on Wednesday morning! I haven't used their at-home mobile service but I'm really glad to know it's there. Sometimes my disability makes it very difficult to leave the house and it's nice to know there's a kind person who can help out. I can't recommend enough. Oh, and also she's a phenomenal phlebotomist.

Next issue from the week prior was my wife's visit. She paid in person yet is still receiving notices that she has an open balance. Typically if you have an open balance for more than two months you get sent to collections. This is my biggest concern. We went in person to show our receipts to the receptionist, Jolene, who seemed very helpful. She told us someone would be giving us a call in the next day or two. The people were very friendly when my wife went to urgent care, but having these billing issues still unresolved two months later is unacceptable. I can still recommend going to get decent care here but if this isn't resolved and we are incorrectly sent to collections, this will easily slip into nightmare territory. Lastly I want to note that my previous unflattering review was removed.

When I called back she refused to even look at the form to see if there was a space for a mailing address. I'm really not sure why the attitude or the refusal to help a customer. She was always thorough, personable, very knowledgeable, kind and my favorite doctor ever. I had no problems with her and was appreciative for her skills. I also got to know Lisa Zylstra and Katherine Moon during that time and found them both top notch as well in their knowledge, kindness and abilities. I started seeing her in April of this year for issues that I had regarding my health. After answering a series of very thorough questions she was able to read me like a book because after my lab results came back she was right on practically everything. I know several doctors in the Vancouver area who know of and give high praise to Dr. Workman. She runs a great practice and in my experience takes the time necessary to ensure that her patients are cared for and fully understand the issues surrounding their health. Her office is extremely busy but I guess when you are good at what you do it is to be expected. I was thankful that she was accepting new patients and I have recommended her to friends who moved here from other states who do not have a primary care physician. As more private practice doctors retire or get pushed into the managed care debacle I feel fortunate to have a good doctor who puts the well being of their patients as their top priority. The DR spent the entire visit belittling him for going to the ER & not having insurance. He spend more time playing dentist than being a doctor and dialed in on my son having poor oral hygiene and just would not actually focus on what he was being seen for. He would not listen to my son, dismissed the notes my son took with to make sure he didn't forget anything, and repeatedly told my son he just needed to find a better job, get insurance, and go to a dentist, but didn't offer any real advice about the CURRENT issues and actually made his health anxiety worse and his swallowing symptoms have now regressed (likely to anxiety) brought on by the extremely rude and condescending Dr he saw. The Dr he was supposed to see was not in the office, but is somehow still the one listed on his visit summary so we can't even review or file a complaint on the right Dr. Yes, my son should get insurance and take better care of his teeth perhaps, but none of that was the reason he was there and none was helpful. The Dr told my son basically how dare he go to the ER for this and that when "people like you" (referring to my son) go to the ER it just costs the tax payers money. Firstly, my son is a grown working man who pays taxes, Second - my son will get and pay his own bill. This doctor spent the entire visit "roasting" my son (my son's words) and now the progress my son has mad over the last week since his initial medical problem is practically all gone. I am appalled that a Dr. would ever speak to a patient the way this man spoke to my son!
