I just saw Dr. Speaker recently and she didn't mention the new concierge decision. She is changing her practice to this new concierge model (basically only for the rich) which leaves us now without a PCP as of September. She could have told me in person when myself and my kids were there. To give me a heads up so I could start looking for a new provider (considering how difficult it is to get in with anyone these days and when you do get an appointment it is at least 6-9 months out). Now I will experience a delay in my healthcare and most likely be without my meds until I can get established somewhere else. I never imagined being a middle class, hard working person with decent insurance wouldn't be enough to keep basic healthcare at Creekside. I am shocked at this decision. I didn't think Dr. Speaker was the kind of person who would abandon her patients simply because they can't afford it. Shameful! With everything happening in our country and the direction healthcare is going, we did not need this too. This is painful and heartbreaking to myself and I'm sure many other long time patients of hers. I am shocked as I have never had an unpleasant experience with the office staff nor Dr. Speaker. They are always warm, gracious and helpful. Dr. Speaker is a teacher at heart, as well as someone who works above and beyond for the patient. I'm fortunate in that a I don't need to go often but when I use the portal monthly to get prescription refills she responds right away with answers to any questions about insurance and options, if necessary. When I have my yearly physical, Dr. Speaker spends so much time with me that I begin to feel uncomfortable that we're holding up other patients waiting to see her - she is that thorough and present. And often I will walk out with referrals to specialists or names of someone/something in the community that may help. In summary, I can't say enough about Dr. Speaker. I don't know for sure how long I have been seeing her - probably around 20 years. In my 78 years I have been seen by many doctors, Dr. Speaker is the best at listening, teaching, responding and overall empathy to my health. Here they treated my son who had poison oak all over his body. They didn't hesitate to provide him relief and care. His body is now healing well from the poison oak. Urgent care was not willing to treat someone who really needed it, Plus they wanted to charge us 200$. After talking to staff we were able to get out $ back. So dissatisfied with them. If I didn't have a PCP, I would absolutely visit him for everything, based on his calm, professional demeanor. Very recommended for anyone who unsure of using a fly-by-night, last minute healthcare provider. People like him give credit to ZoomCare, and the healthcare industry in general, at a time when people have begun to (rightfully) question our broken, predatory system. This clinic is an amazingly helpful asset to our Clark County Community! My friend who is uninsured…read morewas able to call at 9am and secure an appointment for 1pm the same day. The front desk manager did a great job explaining which paperwork to fill out. I noticed she is bilingual which is a positive skill to serve a greater audience. Doctor Feldstein demonstrated excellent bedside manner in her initial physical check-up, and tests were run without any cost to the patient. Luckily, this patient did not have any infections and therefore did not require medications, though, the Doctor was totally willing to prescribe them if necessary. Keep in mind that everybody who works here is volunteering their time, and everything will be okay as long as we lead with Gratitude. I am extremely grateful to the Physicians and community partnerships that help keep this clinic alive. Additionally, the location of the clinic is the same place as the Vancouver, WA "Jim Parsley Center" and is easily accessible even if you do not have transportation because the location is on a bus line. I asked them to add my mailing address to the form and she informed me with a lot of attitude that they "wouldn't be doing that" then hung up on me. When I called back she refused to even look at the form to see if there was a space for a mailing address. I'm really not sure why the attitude or the refusal to help a customer. Inexplicably unprofessional and incompetent behavior.

When I finally arrived over a week later, I was greeted by Dr. Claire, who seemed like a lovely person. However, after taking my payment in full, she spent my paid time combing through my paperwork, which she hadn't bothered to review beforehand. I left feeling completely taken advantage of. She wanted an additional $180 for allergy skin tests, plus another $180 for the actual testing. If her rate is $180 an hour, then my initial payment of $300 essentially resulted in nothing more than a discussion of my paperwork! This experience feels unforgivable, and I believe that karma will catch up with her. Had she reviewed the paperwork properly, she could have provided valuable insights or recommendations that might have improved my situation. Instead, I feel cheated. This review serves as a reminder to future patients that they should clarify what is covered during the first consultation. Will it merely be a review of your paperwork, or can you expect actual medical advice? Also, I found the pricing of the chiropractor in her office to be excessively high as well!
