Removed the chocolate pea protein to the strawberry peanut butter smoothie - tastes like a pb&j.
    Kelsey A.

I recently visited as I was in the area apartment hunting. I stopped at the Bosa in the same pavilion but needed something healthy first. I removed the chocolate pea protein (gives me tummy aches) from the strawberry peanut butter smoothie - oh man, it tasted just like a pb&j. So good. 10/10. The gal who helped me who funny. She understood my indecisiveness because everything sounded tasty but honestly I'd get the pb&j smoothie any and every day.

Craving açaí bowls? Come to GF! Arrived around evening time, not too busy. You may choose from small, medium, and large size bowls. I got the chocolate peanut butter bowl-filled with açaí at the bottom, granola, strawberries, bananas, and a drizzle of honey. My husband got the peanut butter bowl and it was basically the same thing. I'd come back again to try other bowls!

Love this place and what it has to offer, however, there are some issues that need to be addressed. 1. Inconsistency in terms of portions for the acai bowls - sometimes they're perfect, other times, you barely get an inch of acai and the rest are covered with granola.. I suppose the fruit portions are consistent since that's the toppings to make it look pretty. Most of the times the bowls are made fresche (heh) after you order them, but sometimes they come out faster than I can put away my credit card and receipt so it does make me wonder when it was made. 2. Employees are not aware of current promotions. I don't know how many times I've gone in for #refreschewednesday and they have no idea what I'm talking about until I show them the IG post from their own page. The communications on this end could definitely improve for a smoother operation. Other than that, I have no complaints. Everything here is delicious and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I also love their fresh pressed juices and the fact that you can create your own - definitely more bang for your bucks than the juice bar at Wholefoods. Employees are friendly and there are plenty of parking spots in the lot. They also have tables and chairs inside and outside for those that want to enjoy the goodies on the spot. You can also find their food truck every Saturday mornings at the Gilbert farmers market

Juice made from carrots, lime, ginger, and turmeric.

I came here for the first time. I was in the mood for a fresh juice rather than a smoothie. I like the idea of pick your add-ins. So I started with a carrot juice base. I added in lime, ginger, and turmeric. This had a crisp fresh flavor from the lime and a little snap from the turmeric and ginger .this could just be my new favorite juice.

Peanut butter acai bowl subbed with blackberry topping instead of banana! Extra 50 cents lol

Pretty tasty smoothie, juice, acai bowl spot that's fairly close to home! Tried a number of items pictured below as well as a couple others (fresche and green, and chocolate PB banana power shake). I highly recommend the peanut butter acai bowl!! Unless u're allergic to PB, then I just feel sorry for u. Overall, I liked the power shakes that I've tried, but they had too much of a gritty protein taste to them (possibly unavoidable for 50 gram protein shakes). Not sure if all of their power shakes have 50 g of protein, but according to our power shake mixologist, the chocolate PB banana shake will give u 50 g of muscle building juice all in a 24 oz cup!! Who needs steroids when u have this much protein in the palm of ur hand?!?! I could've done without all the unblended ice chunks in the power shakes as well...who knows, maybe the ice soaked up all the protein and now is too powerful to be finely blended!! It could happen!! All silliness aside, Genuine Fresche definitely gets a solid 4 star rating and that's enough for me to keep coming back!!!

    Original Açaí Bowl

As someone who has tried many açaí bowl serving restaurants, this has to be in my top 5! I'm also from LA, so I've tried quite a few. I ordered the original bowl and subbed the apple juice for water. Loved everything about the original. If this is your first time getting açaí, get this! My cousins grandma had some of mine and was very impressed with the unique taste it had to offer. The fruit was fresh and the bee pollen was exquisite. Will be coming again before I leave back home! Thank you for the lovely service. The employees there were great and super friendly :)

    1. Healthy snacks. Delicious. 2. GOOD PEOPLE. My wife accidentally left her purse at the Gilbert location and we didn't notice until the next day. We called and the employee said she didn't see anything. We decided to come in person, check nearby locations, and Genuine Fresche again. As soon as we walked in the employee's face lit up, said she had the purse. Yay! We appreciated this SO MUCH! Thank you for taking care of your customers! You went above and beyond.

Unbelievable I waited over 30 mins only to recieve a 16 cup of apple and celery juice! When I inquired," why is my green drink yellow?" She had the audacity to reply" It's winter and we don't get the same produce" After I went to my car I was so furious with the stinking green drink. I returned it and asked for my $8,00 back! Save time and head to Nektar. You'll receive fast service and consistent quality!

Id probably expect closer to 5-6 oz of chicken in a protein-based entrée, not what looks like a few chopped pieces scattered on top. The chicken tenders help salvage the meal from a protein standpoint, but that's not really the point. You shouldn't have to order an extra side just to make the entrée feel complete. The price breakdown is what really stings: * Coconut Curry Bowl * Chicken tenders * Protein smoothie * Tax/tip Total: $43 When I look at the actual food in the picture, it doesn't visually read as a $43 meal. It looks more like a $20-25 meal in terms of portion size. What's interesting is that the dine-in portions seem much larger. I love Aubergine Kitchen and eat there often because it's one of the few places that fits my gluten-free and dairy-free diet. However, I was disappointed with my takeout order tonight.

Much to our dismay, the restaurant was closed to focus on catering. Luckily, though, It reopens for pop-ups. This morning I saw an Instagram post announcing that there would be a brunch pop up today, so we got up and got ready to go. It really is tucked away in the corner of plaza and goodbye Safeway. Inside is a small dining room with a bar, and through the rolling doors is a patio with outdoor seating. You can see the kitchen through the plexiglass divider, and there is bar seating along the divider so you can watch the cooking. There's a great, colorful mural on one wall and some fun lighting fixtures and art. Today's pop up was packed when we arrived. We grabbed the last two chairs which were on the bar overlooking the kitchen. The menu had seven choices. Of course we ordered two different things so we could share, but we skipped cocktails. We ordered: *Steak chilaquiles Christmas style (both red and green chile) served with a side of beans and talked with an egg *Green chili pork hash served with a side of beans talked with an egg Both were delicious! We both ordered scrambled eggs, and I'm pretty sure it was more than an egg. I'm not sure how they cook those eggs but they were the best ever. The pinto beans had green chili in it and was so good. I'm from New Mexico, and these tasted like the beans that you rarely find outside of New Mexico. The steak on my chilaquiles was really good - - thin sliced and tender. I was able to easily cut it with just a butter knife. The pork in the hash was so yummy. What are scrumptious brunch! It was nice to sit overlooking the kitchen, as it was quite a show to watch the chef. I was amazed at how over easy eggs were tossed and caught in the pan without the yolks breaking. Heck, I can't even flip eggs with a spatula without breaking the yolk! Anytime I've overlooked a chef cooking, I'm totally in awe of their amazing skills, and this was no different. I really recommend Tucked Away, just as I did when it was a regular restaurant. Follow them on Instagram to be alerted to pop ups. You won't regret it!

They came with a light verde salsa. The burritos hit the spot, we're hearty and filling. Worthy Takeaway or dining in my friend's-SYOY!

I went back the other day to try their limited time fish sandwich, and when I say it was the…read moresoggiest fish sandwich I've ever eaten, I am not lying. The breading was sopping wet and made eating it so unpleasant. The worst part was I paid 18$ for it, with a side of chips(fries would have been more). I was very disappointed. Their whole menu is honestly overpriced. Kind of disappointing what's become of this place. Edit: wasn't sure how to reply to the owner's comment, but I did eat it there, and the very first bite the sandwich fell apart. Honestly, I couldn't taste the fish at all, the flavor from the oil overwhelmed everything else. And you're right I have no problem paying more for quality, but at least for this sandwich it wasn't there.
