Food was meh. My husbands fried chicken was quite good but my braised beef was bland and almost flavorless. Service was fine.

This was the first restaurant we went to when we went to Utah. We went once at breakfast and once at lunch time. They offer good portions for the price that you get. The look is nice. It's set up a little weird with like multiple floors, and each one looks different than the other, but it's still great. The staff is friendly and know what they're talking about when you ask questions. The food is good and we haven't had any issues with instructions or anything, any of the times we've gone. read more

Absolutely gorgeous place, the colors, the plants, the string lights. It's so beautiful. Amie was our server, and she was great! So prompt and kind, especially to our daughter. The lavender and strawberry lemonades are delicious, not too sweet and tasted homemade. We also ordered onion rings, chili cheese fries, rhubarb pie, and banana cream pie. The chili had so much flavor and depth and the cheese was generous. Everything was great except for the banana cream pie. The crust was 2 thin, hard triangles of pie crust. The pudding tasted like bland cream, and the scant banana slices did nothing to help the flavor of it either. It was a shock after everything else being so good, but my only complaint. Very fun restaurant Jacob an attentive server. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. My first bite I tasted mayonnaise. I didn't know grilled cheese came with mayonnaise which I hate. Jacob was great and went ahead and made a to go sandwich without mayonnaise. We got on the road took a small bite and, to my dismay, this one had mustard which I hate more than mayonnaise. Threw it away So, I now will order plain and dry just I order my hamburgers. read more

Came here after a 12 hour session at Zion National Park. I was presently surprised by the high quality of the food, despite having dinner around 10:30 pm. The interior decor models that of a saloon you would find in the mid west during the 1800s, and all employees wear formal attire. Definitely go for the cheeseburger with extra toppings (only 75 cents for avocado or bacon). The pulled pork nachos are also off the hook and excellent for a group. All dishes were prepared well and provided at generous portions. I even got some extra fries since the chef thought I didn't have enough to fill the plate. Highly recommended post hike meal or if you're passing through St George. read more

Fun atmosphere and good food! The guacamole could probably use some citrus or salt but otherwise was fresh and enjoyable.

The hotel recommended George's Corner for dinner. If you are in town on a Sunday, you will find many restaurants closed. George's luckily was open. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff really could not have been nicer and more friendly. It was a very hot day and we were ready for a cold cocktail. My husband ordered a local beer that he found really refreshing. I decided to try the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Martini, yum! It tasted just like an upside down pineapple cake. For dinner, I went with the make your own grilled cheese and added mushrooms and avocado. The bread was crispy, the cheese melted to ooey gooey, the mushrooms were sauteed and the avocado really fresh and creamy. Mr. Bee had the Fish and Rings. Loved the onion rings, tasted beer battered and they were crunchy and not greasy. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, chatting with our server and our ice cold beverages. read more

We were recommended to visit George's Corner. No reservations on a Sunday early dinner hour and we were seated immediately. Waitress were friendly and served us well. I had the pulled pork sandwich and a side salad. Both were very good. Love their vinaigrette dressing. Husband had turkey club and side of fries. Plate was clean. Ambiance is nice and interesting pictures. I recommend giving it a a try if you are in town. read more

Casual but excellent food. We ordered a pretzel with cheese to split, must get item. Then he ordered a burger and I ordered the fish and onion rings with homemade tater sauce. It was 4 large pieces of cod and I couldn't finish it! We also got a small pitcher of an IPA (2-1/2 glasses in a small pitcher). Loved the meal. It would have been better we decided if we both got a pretzel and split the fish and onion rings which were amazing! And ordered a small pitcher of beer again. 5 hours later still full! I think this place is under new management or ownership. Service was nice but food was below par. Calamari was boring and came with a side of ketchup. Fish and chips were frozen fish. Quesadilla frozen chicken barley any cheese. Ribs were just ok I guess. Hamburger got good reviews. Food used to be so good here something bad has happened and it was obvious that something had changed since for the first time ever coming here there were empty tables everywhere. I will say the mint chili lemonade was really good and gave an extra star for that. read more

I love this place. We are from Cali visiting and we found this spot. So glad we did. I got the turkey club (with gluten free bread) and my husband got the pulled pork sandwich. The food was amazing. Very tasty and just great. The service so stellar. We sat at the bar and two ladies served us and they were SO NICE! Being from Cali we aren't used to that. It was awesome. Live music as well and it was good. Not loud or obnoxious. If we lived here, I'd def be a regular. The wait is worth it. read more

Delicious food! I got a turkey sandwich, a peach mule, and strawberry rhubarb pie. The service was wonderful too. My brother asked for extra whipped cream and our server brought him a whole plate of it. Even when we had a lot of requests, he listened, accommodated, and remembered all of it. Stopped here to grab a bite to eat on a road trip. This place was fantastic! I was able to place a to-go order at the bar which was ready in no more than 10 minutes. Also the bartender was aware that I was on a road trip & offered to fill our water bottles & made sure that was had utensils & extra napkins to take with us. I had my dog with me & she informed me that the patio was dog friendly so that's where we waited for our food. Not only was this the friendliest service I've received on the road, but the food was GREAT! We ordered a black bean burger with fries & the vegan sandwich with a side salad - both were filled with flavor. If I lived nearby I would be back soon, but I'll definitely keep this place in mind for the next time I'm passing through St. George. read more

We stopped by George's Corner, Jan. 9th 2022, on our way home from Park City. We were greeted by a lovely young hostess who could not have been more friendly. We had the fresh brewed strawberry iced tea and it was heaven in a glass. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich which you build yourself. It comes with mayo and dijon mustard. I added grilled tomato which is home grown. They had other add ons such as grilled onions, mushrooms, roasted peppers and ham or bacon. I got their Tavern chopped salad as a side instead of french fries. The salad came with candied pecans, goat cheese and pear. The house made dressing was lick the plate good. BTW the salad greens are also home grown. My boyfriend had their beef chili and he loved it. My only regret was we had no room for dessert! There must have been 4 things I wanted to try...including a banana split. Our waitress was just as sweet as she can be. She was a shining star. Great service and suggestions. Lastly they have a full bar. If you are in the St. George area you must stop here for breakfast, lunch, dinner or apps. read more

EXCELLENT customer service!! Do NOT sleep on this place!! We experienced 2 different waitress' and BOTH provided great customer service. Alyssa and Makenzie are highly recommended and very detailed oriented. We were sure to inform the mgr Kit of our awesome experience. This was our first restaurant while visiting St George for the 1st time . We look fwd to returning. The house salad isn't your typical house salad. We ended up at George's Corner because there weren't very many places open in the St. George area on a Sunday night. We thought it was a good sign that there was a line out the door of people waiting to eat there. We put our names on the list for an outdoor table and were told our wait time would be 25 mins, but we ended up waiting for 45 mins. The worst part was we could see the busser SLOWLY cleaning the table for us to sit at. I kid you not, we watched this person take 15 minutes to clean one table and wanted to just jump over the rail to finish the job for them. This person would take a trip back and forth in between the dining area and kitchen for every dirty plate and cup that was still on the table. Then they took their sweet time wiping the table. It was absolute torture to watch when you're starving. The food was hit and miss. We ordered a few appetizers to share. The edamame and chicken wings were decent. The calamari came with dipping sauce that tasted like the sauce in a can of Spaghetti-O's. We order the Mahi Mahi & Shrimp Tacos & BBQ Baby Back Ribs, which were okay, but nothing I would order again. The only people in our group who liked their food were the ones who ordered burgers or sandwiches. The best part of our dining experience was our server, Hilary. She was attentive and quick. She's the only reason why we still tipped 20% still and added an extra star to this review. When you're in a smaller town like St. George on a Sunday night, George's Corner is a fine place to eat. But it definitely wouldn't be my first choice in any other circumstance. read more

Been here many times but tonight was terrible. Here with 6 people and nobody enjoyed their meal. Three of our dishes, the fried chicken s and the fish were way over cooked. Even so, nobody complained to our waitress Abigail about the food. She mentioned that she was Lea inning on vacation in a couple days and was already gone. Little did we know at the time how right she was. Table never cleared of old plates till we piled them up Abigail was surly at best, she seemed bothered to be serving us, dismissive and outright rude. Drinks were good, when we got them. Iced teas only refilled when we could slow her down, water pitcher empty, and drink orders at end were never filled. When one person asked her if a beer she ordered and never got was on the bill, she just walked away without answering. Some nights the cooks may have an off night on food prep, but when a waitress acts like this, she should be sent on her vacation early. I almost never write this kind of review, but tonight was awful. read more

The food was good we ordered from all over the menu. I was disappointed in the fried calamari. It was a little soggy and a VERY small order for an appetizer. The thing that really got to me was people waiting inside for a table not having to wear any type of mask. I asked what the deal was to two waitresses. One replied that she was not the manager, weak answer. I spoke to an additional waitress concerning the issue and she said there was nothing they could do. Also Informed me the first girl I spoke with was only 17 and had no Responsibility for forcing mask compliance. She should have informed a manager. Then a manager should have asked them to exit the building and return with mask if they wanted to have dinner. I also have sent an email in more detail to the CDC. If restaurants can't work to keep all of their customers safe and comply with federal laws, they should not be allowed to be open. read more
