We visited the showroom on March 8th 2020 and spoke with Mike Rittenberg.  He was very helpful and informative on all aspects of our pending bathroom re-model.  He started by educating and explaining to us how to go about our shopping and in what order to find things.  He anticipated our questions which made us feel comfortable with his obvious experience.  I had arrived thinking I would be confused and frustrated with choices and options and Mike eased my stress with his knowledge. Jason Lee at George's Kitchen and Bath is a superhero - and the kind of nice, go-out-of-your-way-for-someone-else person that you don't often find anymore. I, Lisa, am in Austin, Texas and first contacted George's via email in quest of a valve to help fix our leaky sprayer in our kitchen sink. A local plumber - at the cost of $600 - had said we needed to replace the valve. Instead of just selling me the $300 part, via email, Jason asked questions, requested photos and a video, and enlisted the help of Newport Brass. It turned out that I didn't need a new valve but instead a new diverter cartridge, which Jason arranged with Newport Brass to send me free of charge. He also sent instructions to install and schematics. Long story short, my husband, James, was able to replace the diverter himself - and our sprayer now works! To be clear, George's did not receive any money from me - but they helped us anyway. I would go back to them again and again and suggest you do the same. There is no replacement for honesty, kindness, and pride in your work. Thank you Jason and thank you George's! read more

Bought some very nice plumbing fixtures here. Good quality but high prices ( $$$$$$ )compared to other similar stores. And Heaven help you if you have to return anything... if the box is on any way damaged from you opening it, forget it... you bought it... they won't take it back.. if they do allow the return, usually there is a hefty restocking fee (25%), that they say they are charged by the supplier....but not sure if that's true... who knows? I'm a contractor and had in the past referred many clients to this store... No more.. read more

I get super overwhelmed when it comes to picking out knick nacks and doo-das in order to accentuate my home, however for some reason, this supply store gave me a boner that only interior design lovers experience! So many options to choose from yet the guy who took care of us was so easy to work with and made our selections easy to make! read more

Six years ago, my husband and I bought 4 new expensive but lovely sink faucet sets from George's. We figured that in the long run, the expense would be justified by fewer plumbing bills. We wouldn't need to replace washers, because they had none. The sets lasted years with no problems. When they did start dripping, six years later, Jason and Bob at George's honored a lifetime guarantee. After some discussion as to what to do, they shipped cartridges to us that fit into the handles. My husband was able to replace spent cartridges in the handles, and the dripping stopped. No plumber needed! Went in today with my parents who are redoing their kitchen and a guest bath. They asked if George's had any Moen fixtures and the first sales person told us "that would be Home Depot, you know big orange sign?" Super condescending and rude. You can just say, "we don't carry that brand here." Word of advice, some people who have 5 bathrooms in their house aren't buying top of the line fixtures for every single sink, tub and shower. Fortunately, we worked with another salesperson, Mike, who was knowledgeable and friendly. The selection was great, and pricing was reasonable. My parents will be purchasing 4 fixtures from him for their 2 kitchen sinks and butlers pantry. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. We had purchased faucets from Home Depot that are an obscure color and needed a roman tub fixture to match it. Upon finding out where our other fixtures were from, our salesperson said, "You bought the poor people stuff." Excuse me? Shall we compare credit scores? If you want to be treated like Pretty Woman, go shop here. The quality of the products is superior to many of the other fixture stores that we have explored these past couple weeks. However, if this business wishes to be more successful they really need to improve upon their customer service. Not all of the employees were lackluster and some tried to assist us, but when you've been called out as being poor it's really hard to move on from that. I wish we would have trusted the previous yelp reviews before wasting our time with this store. read more

The summary: George's isnt cheap so this is not the place to come to if you are looking for just any ol' fixture. Although after Plumbing 101 courtesy of Lester I dont know that I would ever consider buying fixtures from a big box retailer (Lowes, Home Depot etc) ever again. However, the selection is incredible, Lester's service was informative and insightful and we walked away glad we came and not needing to visit Ferguson's. My husband and I are came here on a whim after deciding we wanted to touch and feel fixtures before making a choice. We pulled up and were immediately impressed by the selection. And then we met Lester. Lester is knowledgeable and invaluable, patient and honest. At no time during our experience did we feel pressured to make a purchase. He gave us options to consider in terms of how to minimize labor costs associated with demolition and installation (who knew retiling was so expensive) and was knowledgeable about the nuances between brands and their installation "quirks". One piece vs two piece toilets. Widespread vs centermounted fixtures. Shower valves. Kitchen faucets. I came away feeling like I could more confidently communicate with our plumber. Needless to say I am confident that as we continue this renovation process, Lester and George's will be our go to for all things plumbing (hardware). read more
