I'm happy this place is near my house. Sometimes I crave this kind of food and this is the only Deli near me. The food comes out fast and they give you a large portion for the price.

Sindy's Deli & Carryout is a small little Korean-owned deli, tucked away in an area with a hodge-podge mix of random businesses. They offer breakfast sandwiches & platters, hot/cold sandwiches, wraps, and desserts. I tried their Philly Cheese Steak, and upgraded to a combo (which cam with crinkle-cut fries and a soda). The cheesesteak itself was okay, but pretty bland - there wasn't much seasoning on the steak itself. There were a good amount of fried onions, though, which was nice. I did appreciate the crinkle-cut fries, as they were freshly-fried and crispy (these also needed your own personal dashings of the salt/pepper). We went there during the lunch rush, and there were many people doing carry-outs, but there are a few tables to sit and enjoy your food. +underseasoned Philly Cheese Steaks +freshly-fried crinkle-cut fries! +efficient service

I was skipping through the reviews - and saw "korean deli" and got really excited. I love korean food. So to start off - this is NOT a korean deli. It's a deli/breakfast/carry out place. So.. yeah, you're in for american food - so no what to expect. I went with a lunch special ruben. It came with fries (standard fries, slightly crinkle cut, done well) and a drink (pepsi products). The ruben was a tad greasy (bread was "toasted" on the grill) but the meat was descent. It could have used some more dressing and a more sour saurkraut, but over all a pretty good sandwich. This was all for under 9 bucks - a really good deal. As an added bonus, they wrap the sandwich and put everything in a bag, so it's much less trash in the end. Would I go out of my way to Sindy's - probably not. It's good and cheap, but a bit heavy on the grease and I didn't see anything on the menu that made me want to go back to try. Sure, they have a great breakfast menu, but they're not open on the weekends and I tend to eat a light breakfast... and work in Baltimore, so that's out. Over all though, it's clean, cheap and quick - so if you're in this area and need lunch or breakfast (on a weekday) this is a pretty good option. (4 stars for minimizing trash in take out, and for having better food than they need to, seeing as there is no competition immediately around them)

I just noticed on how many Korean owned Delis there are in Howard County. Like 10... Okay maybe not 10 but there are a good amount in a 10 mile radius. Each of them have their signature entrees and slightly different foods that separates themselves from others. Going to 3 or 4 deli's recently, I decided to try this place out today before going to work. I just came here an hour ago and had their Meat Lovers Platter which comes with potatoes, bacon, sausage, scrapple, buttered toast, ham, and 2 eggs, cooked to your liking. It sounds a lot right? Yes, it's a lot. I'm a big guy and I can eat pounds of food in one sitting, but this was a lot and I actually got a little full from eating this platter. But then I also ordered their cheesesteak sub which comes with fries and a drink all for like 6 or 7 bucks!?!?!? Now they don't give you as much meat compared to other places, but in this case, more meat doesn't mean it's better. In this case, less meat means balance of flavors partying in your mouth. Pause. The fries were freshly cooked, probably why my food came out a little longer than expected (10 minutes?) but they were good with the right amount of salt. Not too salty and not too bland! When I came in, I opened the door for some gentlemen that's from the firehouse. There were 4 of them and then had 2 older ladies in front of them, and 1 younger lady in front of the older ladies. Pretty long line but it went fast and depending on what you order, you'll get your food in just a couple minutes. I love scrapple, the fact that it's a hit or miss each time you bite into it. One bit would be delicious and the next might be the part you eat the livery and irony part. Scrapple originally came from Maryland too! Not every deli, in fact most deli's don't have scrapple. This place does. And it does it right. The prices go well with the portions and the service is very friendly. Korean owned local joint. Will I be back? Of course!

Good: * chicken cheesesteak, best value when it's a lunch special (fries and drink). Also, adding green peppers is like .70-.90cent up charge for a few. * breakfast anything (except bagels!!) * hot fries * service is friendly and efficient Bad: * everything tastes like it's been cooked in the same fryer oil * $5 credit card minimum * Pepsi products * Salads are small and the lettuce is not always fresh * Wraps are small and not the freshest * ability to customize or add toppings is limited and pricey * Basically anything that isn't on special is overpriced If Sindy's was not connected to the building I work in, I would probably never come here. It's good for a greasy fix or when it's pouring and 45 degrees, but I can't recommend for a fresh lunch destination.

The food is good. I love the staff friendly and efficient. As close to getting breakfast from a carry out inner city as you can in HoCo

Little pricey but it deserve and the portions are hugeee anyway so I made my lunch today with the left overs! If its weekend you can wait little long, but it deserve again:) İ really like the pea soup with hot dog. My Greek omlette was tasty. The sandwich is good, bread and everything the way they make. The best thing is the The deli meats they put inside, pastrami, turkey breast, tongue... Aaand I also tried something sweet from the bakery part! It was good too. I like it, I will finish it with my coffee, after my lunch.Maybe they have to add a few thing which made my dairy products... A bit light things:) I only didn't like the coffee. It was bitter and like old taste... Ambience was good.especially when they made the temperature I like the place. It wasn't cold at all. Normally in America they put the AC on. Never check the people if they are cold or not! The temperature was ideal... I think I have to visit the place more often

I loved every bite. I just wish I would have known to get it toasted. The regular white bread isn't doing it for me but that's minor. Tuna 8/10 The tuna was prepared really well, the crunch from the bread and the softness from the tuna was a great combo. The only thing I would change is some more seasoning on the tuna would push it over the time for me.

"My daughter, S A M," Shaw signs back, "playing guitar," as he makes hand motions. "Being able to hear that." "You don't need to. Every spring, I go to the Boston Pops." "Why?" Frank asks disconsolately. "To watch...the feeling...the musicians...to see their joy. It's enough. To see that, to share it." Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. Upon our first visit of what we hope will be many, my wife and I placed the following takeout order: 1 order of Baked Meatballs 2 orders of Garlic Bread 1 ten-inch Empire Pie (I requested no ricotta or extra virgin olive oil) 1 order of Rigatoni Meatballs alla Vodka 1 order of Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce 1 slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake 1 slice of Pistachio Cheesecake The garlic bread and pistachio cheesecake alone conjured spectacular reminisces. The pizza is the best we've had in Maryland, although my wife regretted my choice of no ricotta; and we would gladly reorder our pasta dishes if we didn't have many more entrees that we want to try.

HIDDEN GEM!!!! I…read morestumbled across this place while visiting Columbia, MD. I was craving a good cheesesteak, so I did what any responsible foodie would do--I consulted Google. This place kept popping up, so I figured the internet couldn't be wrong... at least not this time. The restaurant is tucked away in what feels like a residential area, making it a true hidden gem. The parking situation, however, deserves its own reality show. Spaces are limited, and getting in and out of the parking lot felt like I was participating in an advanced driving course. The establishment offers nice seating, but don't expect a formal dining experience. You place your order at the counter and then find your own seat. When we arrived, the place was packed with people ordering and eating. That's usually a good sign, and at that point I knew we had either found the jackpot or everyone in Columbia had the exact same cheesesteak craving. Because of the crowd, ordering took a little while. The dining area was also in need of some attention--we ended up cleaning our own table before sitting down. The food took longer than expected to arrive, but as soon as I took the first bite, all was forgiven. We ordered two cheesesteaks and a personal pepperoni pizza. The cheesesteaks were absolutely loaded with perfectly grilled meat, topped with grilled onions and peppers, all served on a warm, soft hoagie roll. Every bite was packed with flavor and required at least a few extra napkins. The personal pepperoni pizza was also excellent. I'd describe it as a traditional thin-crust pizza with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. No ingredient was trying to steal the spotlight--it was a well-rehearsed pizza ensemble. As I said from the beginning, this place is a hidden gem. The food alone is worth the trip. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because of the challenging parking situation and the dining area's cleanliness and service. Fix those two issues, and this place might just become my new definition of a cheesesteak pilgrimage destination
