Great place for a quick breakfast. Stopped in this morning for a to go order. Got the pancakes with a breakfast meat. Great price at under 9 dollars. Had to eat on the go so didn't get a photo. Pancakes were light and fluffy. You get a huge portion, it was more than enough to fill me up. The deli is small and they close at 2 daily. The staff was friendly and fast. My food was ready in under ten minutes. Definitely my go to since it's so close to work for me. I come frequently and can't believe I never reviewed them before. read more

They offer breakfast sandwiches & platters, hot/cold sandwiches, wraps, and desserts. I tried their Philly Cheese Steak, and upgraded to a combo (which cam with crinkle-cut fries and a soda). The cheesesteak itself was okay, but pretty bland - there wasn't much seasoning on the steak itself. There were a good amount of fried onions, though, which was nice. I did appreciate the crinkle-cut fries, as they were freshly-fried and crispy (these also needed your own personal dashings of the salt/pepper). Good pescatarian options. I get the fried fish sandwich, the flounder platter which comes with fries and coleslaw, and of course the tuna fish sandwich or wrap. Rarely do I get the ocean wave wrap (which I believe is just shrimp salad) nor do I get the shrimp baskets. read more

On every visit here, the staff has been friendly and courteous. The food is reasonably priced for what you get. Had other businesses charge $6-$10 more for similar selections here. Good selection and delicious. Sometimes you have to wait as they can get very busy. I don't mind the wait. I like the crinkle cut fries. Breakfast is not something that I eat often and I like their breakfast home fries when I do order breakfast. I was skipping through the reviews - and saw "korean deli" and got really excited. I love korean food. So to start off - this is NOT a korean deli. It's a deli/breakfast/carry out place. So.. yeah, you're in for american food - so no what to expect. I went with a lunch special ruben. It came with fries (standard fries, slightly crinkle cut, done well) and a drink (pepsi products). The ruben was a tad greasy (bread was "toasted" on the grill) but the meat was descent. It could have used some more dressing and a more sour saurkraut, but over all a pretty good sandwich. This was all for under 9 bucks - a really good deal. As an added bonus, they wrap the sandwich and put everything in a bag, so it's much less trash in the end. Would I go out of my way to Sindy's - probably not. It's good and cheap, but a bit heavy on the grease and I didn't see anything on the menu that made me want to go back to try. Sure, they have a great breakfast menu, but they're not open on the weekends and I tend to eat a light breakfast... and work in Baltimore, so that's out. Over all though, it's clean, cheap and quick - so if you're in this area and need lunch or breakfast (on a weekday) this is a pretty good option. I just noticed on how many Korean owned Delis there are in Howard County. Like 10... Okay maybe not 10 but there are a good amount in a 10 mile radius. Each of them have their signature entrees and slightly different foods that separates themselves from others. Going to 3 or 4 deli's recently, I decided to try this place out today before going to work. I just came here an hour ago and had their Meat Lovers Platter which comes with potatoes, bacon, sausage, scrapple, buttered toast, ham, and 2 eggs, cooked to your liking. It sounds a lot right? Yes, it's a lot. I'm a big guy and I can eat pounds of food in one sitting, but this was a lot and I actually got a little full from eating this platter. But then I also ordered their cheesesteak sub which comes with fries and a drink all for like 6 or 7 bucks!?!?!? Now they don't give you as much meat compared to other places, but in this case, more meat doesn't mean it's better. In this case, less meat means balance of flavors partying in your mouth. Pause. The fries were freshly cooked, probably why my food came out a little longer than expected (10 minutes?) but they were good with the right amount of salt. Not too salty and not too bland! When I came in, I opened the door for some gentlemen that's from the firehouse. There were 4 of them and then had 2 older ladies in front of them, and 1 younger lady in front of the older ladies. Pretty long line but it went fast and depending on what you order, you'll get your food in just a couple minutes. I love scrapple, the fact that it's a hit or miss each time you bite into it. One bit would be delicious and the next might be the part you eat the livery and irony part. Scrapple originally came from Maryland too! Not every deli, in fact most deli's don't have scrapple. I'm not gonna lie. The way they chose to spell it 'Sindy' and not Cindy bothers the Hell outta me. Who is this Sindy character anyways? I'd like to meet her. The food tastes excellent and my favorite sandwich right now is the italian cold cut even if they DO go a litttle skimp on the topping ESPECIALLY when you're paying close to 9 dollars for a combo and 7 dollars for the sandwich alone (combo=fries/drink/sammy). You know they're skimping on the topping when you realize how much longer it takes you to finish the fries than it does the actual sandwich) So, yes it's a little pricey, but the ingredients are always served fresh and the sandwich is very quickly and neatly prepared. The fries are yum too. The resturant is very clean. As soon as I walk through the door somebody literally BOLTS to the register to ring me up...chill out..you'll get my money just relax a second lol. Keep it simple stupid. This place does just that. Reminds me of my favorite deli back home. The staff is nice and quick. I like choosing from the daily specials board. They have a good selection of drinks and dessert! Only open during the week since it's location is in the middle of a corporate space but it's always packed at lunch time. Sandwiches are excellent. I've only been to Sindy's once, but it was so good I had to post. I ordered the chicken tender wrap lunch combo ($7.99 for the wrap, fries, fountain drink). The wrap was much larger than expected, fresh and delicious. The fries were also fresh and just salty enough. Service was wonderful and quick. Only gripe is that they have Pepsi products for the fountain. I ordered takeout, but there are several tables and there were a number of people eating in during my visit. I love this place. My biggest complaint is their limited hours which means I can only partake for lunch during weekdays. Wish they were open weekends and dinner hours. They have a variety of creative wraps and sandwiches as well as all the usual deli standbys. Everything is always fresh and tasty. The staff are nice. They learn your name if you come in even semi-regularly. I've gotten a big bag of various wraps from them for a couple of events and everytime I do I get multiple compliments asking where I got such good wraps. SIndy's is in a weird location - I definitely drove past it the first time I went. Its small and no frills, the prices are pretty cheap and they have a great breakfast. I loved my omelet, good home fries (very hard to find) and the pancakes were nice and fluffy too. I love in the area, but work elsewhere so I've only had it on a few special occasions when I'm home on a weekday. This makes me SAD!! Howard County is seriously lacking good breakfast spots and this would be the perfect greasy spoon for a Saturday or Sunday breakfast, but alas they are only open on weekends for the Columbia corporate folks. read more
