Thankfully, everything was under warranty through Mercedes. The tech team provided updates with everything they did. All financial repairs not covered by warranty were clearly communicated. It is refreshing to find a dealer that is honest and upfront and everyone I met was friendly! Ive gone back many times since even though it isn't even in the same state. After waiting forever and hearing tons of excuses from the service adviser (tech is sick, waiting on authorization, etc) I finally got the repair scheduled 3 months later. Got my unit back and they did not re caulk at all the area they cut up and the damaged and misinstalled the trim. Not to mention the multiple stripped and missing screws. I would be ashamed if This was walk I or one of my employees did I can not even believe forest river would authorize this place. See pictures of how they returned my brand new unit. I get that things happen but to return the unit like this and try to hide the incompetence is bad business in my book.

They didn't bother to tell us that we could have taken it with us and returned it once the parts came in. We finally contacted the Warranty company ourselves and learned that the last item (outdoor refrigerator) should be there the next day. Then found out that they had not even started on the repairs for all of the other issues and the parts were there! We picked it up so we could go on camping, but here it is over two weeks later and we have not been contacted about the refrigerator door latch for the main fridge. We would not recommend Open Roads RV to anyone who might need their camper serviced.

They put it in the workshop, helped with the insurance claim and told us they will repair it as quick as possible (we have a long road trip planned and we were a little worried). Now, I was warned that I did catch them in a lull for the day and got lucky, but the service was awesome and everyone there was incredibly helpful. I'm definitely going back whenever I need service, a propane refill, or any camper accessories.

Weekend Warrior Dreams at Woodstock Camper World…read more We stopped by Woodstock Camper World just to window shop and get a feel for what might work for our family--two adults, one kid, and a couple of adventure-loving dogs. Our goal? Find something that lets us escape the daily grind for weekend getaways. The sales staff was refreshingly friendly and low-pressure. They didn't hover or push us toward a sale, but were always nearby to answer questions--especially around pricing and layout options. That made the whole experience feel relaxed and informative, which is a nice change from the YouTube rabbit hole we'd been in. We explored Class A through Class C motorhomes. Class C felt like the sweet spot for us: enough space to stretch out without feeling like we were driving a bus. Most Class B layouts were just too cramped for our crew. We also peeked at some fifth wheels, but ultimately ruled them out--they didn't quite fit our weekend warrior vibe. Overall, it was a great visit. No pressure, just helpful insights and a chance to see things in person. If you're in the early stages of RV dreaming like we are, Woodstock Camper World is a solid place to start.

Electrical systems, the fridge, tank sensors, flooring, lights, the list goes on and on, broke and had to be replaced/repaired. We ended up taking the camper back for warranty service to Camper City with Don and his staff many times and they were always extremely nice and professional and tried their best to fix the constant issues. Our salesman Jerry, was consistently helpful and tried his best to get us taken care of as soon as they could, so we could resume our retirement camping. In April 2018, the day before family flew in for a week, the converter blew and we lost the 12 volt system. We bought a battery charger to keep the 12 volt online till our daughters left for home. The day after, we drove 14 hours back home to take the camper back to Camper City. At this point we all agreed the camper was a lemon and we worked on trading it in on a new camper. Most times this would have been a tremendous monetary loss for my wife and I, as the camper was only 6 months old. The owner Michelle and our salesman Jerry worked extremely hard and took care us better than any chain store would have even thought about. They bought back the lemon and gave us a great deal on a new Rockwood camper and we are thrilled with the new unit. I simply can't say enough kind words about the owner Michelle, our salesman Jerry and Don and the service department at Camper City. If they take such exceptional care of us during this extremely troubling ordeal, I am sure you will be pleased with any transaction you have with them.
