While on vacation I got a Tragus piercing done. It was only about 3 or 4 weeks old when I accidentally knocked it out. I tried to use one of my old nose rings to hold the hole open until I could find a shop to put in new jewelry. Looking for places nearby I found Allied online. I'd seen their work quality on IG and was like Yep...I'm going here. I was greeted immediately and explained my situation to the person at the desk. This was Joey. Luckily Joey had plenty years experience and helped me out with my piercing. It was in bad shape (red, swollen, crusting) but he was able to fix it. I selected new jewelry and Joey gave me education on the piercing itself (letting me know that the original piercer pierced it slightly crooked so it may not heal properly or take longer to fully heal). He instructed me on how to clean it and the good and bad things I should be watching for as it heals. Fast forward four months and my piercing is doing great. I'm excited to go back soon and get the jewelry changed to a shorter bar soon. read more

This is my first time going to Allied. It's always a little nerve-racking to try a new tattoo shop AND artist. I chose Sylvia to do a tattoo on my shoulder blades. She did an amazing job. I really like how it turned out and she listened to my suggestions for edits then came back with perfect design. Sylvia is new to the area and building a clientele. I'm glad I used her but I will definitely be back for more tattoos with her. The shop is really nice and clean and super cute. It is a little loud because it is a small space and the acoustics in there make everything echo. Everyone can hear everyone but that's my only complaint... Besides the piercer. He was just rude and dismissive. It seemed like he answered my questions reluctantly, and wasn't really interested in piercing me. The worst part is I saw a pair of sunglasses sitting in the waiting area where I had been for hours with my friend, prior to moving into work area with for tatt. Piercer guy was at the counter, talking to a woman and a man. I picked up the glasses and started to walk towards my friend to ask if they were hers. Piercer guy who is talking to someone else stops and gives me a look and points back to the table indicating for me to put them back... LIKE I WAS TRYING TO STEAL THEM!! I said "oh are these hers?" Gesturing to the lady he was talking to. And his reply was "she is standing here isn't she?" WTF? I have Gucci sunglasses on my head and a Benz outside and this guy has the nerve to imply that I was trying to steal! Sadly, this guy was my last interaction with the tattoo shop and he really left a bad taste in my mouth. I highly recommend the salon, but I do not recommend a piercer. read more

I have visited Allied Ink for tattoos on two separate occasions. The first (a cute little alien baby)was from Michael (welcomeback66 on insta) and the second from Dez (Deztattoos on insta) a moth in front of the moon, one of Dez's Halloween specials. Both artists are friendly, kind, and cool. It's one thing to be a good artist-it's another to be able to hold a conversation to calm and relate to the person that you are tattooing. Both made clean work, worked quickly, and worked with me to make small changes to the designs that gave me what I wanted while still showcasing their work. As for the studio-it's spotless and well lit, with comfy chairs and artist's work decorating their stations. That's super important. There was another artist working there as well I don't remember their name, but we all had good back and forth conversations and it was overall a great experience. Came here 5 or so years ago.Got a free tattoo done by an apprentice, but the star doesn't look good, the heart lines are squiggly, and the heart was supposed to be blue and purple, but the apprentice and the boss, some woman, said my skin was TOO DARK for purple.I see plenty of people my skin color have purple in their tattoos, and they look just fine and the artist had no issue.Heck, I have black tattoos, so why can't I have purple even if it is a dark color? I am not that dark.Im not sure if they were racist, ignorant, or what, but they definitely were not friendly or welcoming. This review is very late. So so so very late... and that's because I've been pissed off about it forever. 4 years late and I'm still pissed off about it today. In 2014 I was only 20 years old. This was my first major piece and I strategically planned this tattoo out. I picked a shop, and I picked an artist. Was willing to pay whatever it costed to have my dream piece complete. An artist who worked at Allied Ink in 2014 named Daniel did my work. I paid him in full after my first session. As he requested. My first session included the outline and shading. He said One more session and we should be set. My second session came and I realized we needed to add a third session. He said "that's fine" let's get you on the books. My next appointment fell on the week of thanksgiving we both cancelled. He told me he would call me when it was time to reschedule. I never received that call. When I tried calling him or reaching him at the shop I did not get any responses. I went into the shop a few months after and told the owner what happened and she told me there was nothing they could do about. She also mentioned if I wanted to choose another artist it would be another $300-500 to complete. So a Tattoo I paid for in full, had to be paid for again in order to complete it. They never offered a discounted rate, or to return my money for the work. NOTHING. As a business owner you are responsible for the people you hire. If they do people wrong, you FIX it...... Also your payment policies suck. How did I lose my money and not get a complete Tattoo and you all acted oblivious!? I came into your establishment thinking I was safe from situations like this. I used Allied Ink for all my piercings and tattoo needs. Since this ordeal, I have not stepped foot in their shop. 4 years later and I still have an unfinished tattoo. I'm now 22 and regretting that I even chose this shop or to put a tattoo on my body - especially if it does not look like it was supposed to. read more

Came in today for two tattoos by Russell. I would definitely recommend this shop and Russell himself if you're interested in getting something done. The interior of the shop itself is really clean and unique. I messaged Russell about a week ago to schedule a session with him and he was great with texting back within a reasonable time, and he only charged me $100 for the two tattoos I wanted. Upon arriving he already had the stencils made and everything. He kept asking if it was okay, and even asked while he started tattooing how I was feeling. He's very gentle with tattooing which is great on some places that are very sensitive. Although tattoos will have some pain regardless. I walked in without an appointment and Andrew was able to help me with another nostril piercing and my philtrum. He gave me a ton of information during the entire process. Everything was super clean too. My philtrum did come out a little crooked, and it looks even more crooked while it's swollen, but he told me all my options and handled it very professionally. The attitudes of all the people working there weren't very welcoming. My best friend came with me didn't feel very welcome or included even though she was kinda there to 'support me'. Maybe they were having a bad day there, but still nobody talked to her or looked at her until she asked a question, which is a little rude. This is the best experience I could've asked for a first tattoo. Russel was super awesome and he gave me his ideas for my tattoo and he helped me pick my font out. He also talked to me lots while I was dealing with the pain which was super awesome. It came out even more amazing than I had imagined and I'm super glad I chose allied ink. I will definitely recommend going here to my friends and family if they are ever looking to get a tattoo or a piercing. I also found out I have hypertrophic scarring from Andrew on my nose piercing and he helped me out with getting me on the right track with a better quality stud and directions to get rid of my scarring without having to take out my piercing. I'm super thankful for all the advice and instructions, not to mention the amazing tattoo. I also felt super comfortable here, even though I was totally nervous. The vibes the employees give are great, they're super friendly. The decor is amazingly unique and gorgeous.
