Ordered the Chicken Alfredo Pizza along w/ a slice of cheesecake and limoncello cake. Best $$ spent on lunch. The pizza was thin crust, our personal favorite. It was cheesy, freshly baked & we could tell the ingredients were as well just as fresh. This was a1st try on this flavor and first visit. We will Most definitely be ordering again. Order was ready prior to pick up time and the staff were pleasant and welcoming upon my entrance. Geppeto's has now become our " GO TO" pizza restaurant.

Expected more when I saw my bill was $40 for two large pizzas. These pizzas were more medium than anything. The slices were not cut equally so it was hard to tell, but I think there were 8 slices to a pie. So minus one star there for every other pizza place following some sort of standardized scale for sizing. These stunted large pizzas took nearly 40 minutes to prepare when we were initially quoted on 15 minutes.. minus one star there for wasted time. To the good news, plus 3 stars for taste. Size and poor time management aside, these pizzas were actually pretty good. The cheese was thick and I believe the advertisement that they use 100% real mozzarella. I enjoyed both the thin and regular crust pizzas, but would probably stick to regular crust next time to avoid a mess. 3 stars overall. Definitely come here for a snack. Avoid if hosting a party and want to feed more than 3-4 people on a regular budget.

Ordered online for pickup. It said it would be ready in 15 min(I was very skeptical of this timing, but thought, hey they're a business, they probably know better)...turns out that really meant about 40 min..So I had to wait and wait...oops. I ordered 2 large pizzas, one special and one half bbq chicken half buffalo chicken. The large size really means more like a medium, but still costs $18+ each. The total for 2 pizzas was $40...and they just weren't big enough to justify the cost for me. The pizza itself was reasonably good, although the thin crust was a lil too soggy for our group, so I would probably recommend just getting the original. We all remarked that the cheese was excellent and just the right melty consistency! However, ultimately we all came to the same conclusion that there just isn't much bang for the buck...the size just doesn't justify the price.

Pizza tasted good, especially the thick mozzarella cheese. However their large pizzas are not that large and are too expensive. $39 for 2 and their 15 minute promise until done was double that.

One can clearly see that it's not fully cooked and the white bits of cheese in the apple topping.

I ordered dinner online and picked it up on Thursday, Feb 21, 2019. It was after 7:30. There were a lot of cars which really made me feel good about ordering from here as this was our first time trying Geppetos. We ordered a ham and pepperoni calzone and fettuccine Alfredo with spinach and mushrooms. My husband loved the calzone! I enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo. I would have liked a little bit more spinach and mushrooms in it but I will know that for next time. We will definitely order again! read more

my wife and I are new to the area and thought we'd try Geppeto's for the first time this evening. I should have know as soon as I walked in the door that the food would be less then desirable. As expected the Fettucini Alfredo my wife got was bland and the Fettucini was over cooked... We love this place and have been eating at the buffet for over 10 years. Since the lockdown we have been ordering pizza to go to help out this local business. It is over a 30 minutes drive to pick up this food, that's how good it is!! Their pizza is fantastic, great wings and they have one of the best calzones I have ever seen. Also if you have a sweet tooth they have a nice selection of dessert pizzas. Please check out this great restaurant and say "Hi" to Kelly, he rocks. read more

The best pizza in the area! The buffet is great and the salad bar has a lot of great items. The best part about the buffet is that they will make you any pizza on the menu - just have to ask your server and they will put the order in. When it's ready, they will bring it to your table first so you have first dibs! The steak and cheese pizza is our favorite! Their calzones are also great - huge and enough for two meals. Great value for your money, great family atmosphere, wonderful service and yummy food! read more

My husband and I both got entrees instead of the buffet. I ordered the manicotti and he ordered a Philly cheese stake sandwich. Both items were very bland. I am pretty sure my manicotti was made with can tomatoes and was frozen...if not, that's what it tasted like! My side salad was terrible. The food is also way over priced in my opinion! We stopped for lunch today...what a great decision! Their pizza is absolutely delicious!!! Their homemade sauce is out of this world and the crust has a wonderful flavor! The staff is do nice and their lunch buffet has great choices with dessert pizza! We WILL be going back! Very reasonably priced also. What a great find!! read more

While in the area, Geppeto's seemed the highest rated and least expensive option--an attractive combination. Two lunch buffets and two teas later, $18.74 wasn't so inexpensive, and pizza connoisseurs should steer clear since it's pretty tasteless. However, the salad bar is worthy with plenty of choices to pile on the plate. It is a good atmosphere, and our server was attentive. We agreed that Subway would have been a much better choice. read more

The pizza is average. I have had a few poor dining experiences including a pizza being dropped in my lap to forgetting to make my pizza. I have never ordered anything besides the personal pizza and buffet. After the last bad experience we have not been back. read more

They are the only pizza place that will deliver to the house even though they are not the closest. Pizza is always hot and the salads are also good. I don't really like their wings but I'm not much of a wing eater. When you go to the restaurant they have an all you can eat option that is wonderful. I highly recommend this Restarunt read more

This place is fantastic! The owner is very nice and loves making his customers happy. It's a great place for families with the pizza and salad bar. They even have a kid's night with a person who comes around and makes balloon animals. We've never had a bad experience here. read more

This is my "go to" place when I have visitors. The salad bar is almost as good as Linebergers and a lot less expensive! The buffet pizzas are great, and you're always asked if you have a special request (which they bring directly to your table). The service is great and the servers are friendly - especially Kelly! read more

I am from Maryland and I know some very good pizza places. I love Geppeto's, because it s not your run of the mill pizza chain pizza. The buffet offers a great salad bar, and a wide variety of pizzas. I do not care where you go, your highest cost item would be the drink, so I always order ice water. Their pizza's are well made and they also deliver. The nly other pizza that might come close is Papa John's. Pizza Hut ia awful, nd do not even mention Domino's their sauce for their pizza is unbearable. So with the limited pizza places in The Denver, NC area. read more

We love this place! Very family friendly and affordable. Half price for kids on Wednesday nights and a balloon guy that can make just about anything. The pizza is better than the local chains. This place is amazing. I absolutely love their food, and they are always so generous in helping with events in the community. The staff there is also incredible. I'm a teacher, and I've had two school functions where they have gladly donated pizza. The staff always helps me carry it to my car and ensures I have everything. Deli looks great but have not sampled their offering. Over the years, I have bought gas probably a dozen times and always competitive with gas stations in more developed areas. They do the community they serve great service. Don't have to drive to Hickory, Lincolnton, Mooresville or Denver to get your provisions.

The only slight negative was that we found the hostess to be a little unfriendly. We arrived at 4:30 without a reservation, and at that time there were only about four tables with diners. She asked us how long it was going to take us to eat because they had reservations at 6:00. I thought that was an odd question to ask, because how fast we eat really depends more on how quickly the meal is served than anything else. Other than that, everything was great. The ceilings are high, the atmosphere is airy and bright, the windows are tall, and the whole space felt clean, fresh, and modern. My wife enjoyed their sweet tea, and we started with the whipped ricotta dip, which was absolutely out of this world. My wife ordered the steak frites, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and I had the fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked. Our server told us it was her first day, but she did an excellent job and was very friendly. We will absolutely be back to try more items from the menu. I can't say enough about how good the food was and the portions were generous. Even the kids pizza that my grandson had was big enough for an adult. I highly recommend this place!
