The place opens at 8 pm but the music didn't start until 9:50 pm. It was pretty empty at the beginning but people started showing up later. Nice cool decor and lighting. Speakeasy and nightclub vibes. Excellent sound. Drinks were decent. No food available, so make sure to eat before coming. They have comedy nights and burlesque on weekends. I plan to go to a weekend show next.

I had to flag our assigned waitress to get some adult beverages. Ordered House wine and my wife ordered a sweet cocktail. We kept ordering drinks all night. The problem with that is that our waitress had to get flagged everytime! She never checked up on us. She attended to those that had reserved table seating. Very dissapointed on customer service. Overall the show was classy. Great choreography, vibing to some reggaeton music. No complaints about the show. We had fun! This place is the only Burlisque show that I know or aware of that is in the Long Beach area. Check the website to view the lineup. Category changes everytime. Great ambiance with clean restrooms. Parking will be on the street or timed parking structure. I would comeback. My experience only, yours might be better.

I neither drink nor am I a regular at bars/clubs but this past Saturday, I decided to check 4…read moreestablishments in Downtown Long Beach, At The Top being one of them. This place is located on the 2nd floor of Shannon's On Pine Irish Pub & Sports Bar. The first thing that stood out (after having been to Sevilla Nightclub just a mere hour before visiting this place) was how lax security was. And by lax, I mean they don't pat you or check you for guns at all. Cover IS free so that's definitely a plus. The whole place smells of marijuana smoke and the floor was kind of sticky. They do give out free water, which is nice but they don't have disposable cups, rather they have regular plastic clubs that I'm assuming are washed regularly? The music was ok. Not my thing but I can definitely groove to some Hip-Hop/R&B every now and then. The patrons were friendly and it was easy to make conversation and connect with others. Some of the people were already high as a kite there, though, lol. Again, I can't comment on the drinks or their prices, since all I usually have is soda, or water if it's available. Overall, a bit of an improvement over Sevilla in some respects, and not as good as Sevilla in others. Final Score: 3/5, just like Sevilla Nightclub down the street.

Will say it was definitely spacious. It would be nice if they had some standing tables or even more places to sit without it being for only service bottle girls. I will say everyone's experience shall be different since a random person kinda punched me and left me a bruise due to a mosh pit. But again this really isn't the clubs fault. Overall it's not bad for a bar. It was nice that they had an elevator since it's in the second floor. About is accessible to ppl who need to use the elevator!! Also one thing, maybe be more thorough with security. They didn't check bags and just checked for ID only. Oooo also don't be warned with parking!! It's better to park in a garage you all!!!

GUINNESS, YES If…read moreyou like Guinness, your gonna like this place. Everything has a bit of Guinness here. Surprisingly really good food for brunch too. Beef stew was really good and hearty. The chicken tenders are ginormous and the boxtys are interesting and delicious. Auld Dubliner also happens to be located at the pike outlets. A short walk away from the aquarium, shoreline village and pine st.

When we…read morefirst heard the rumblings that the infamous Irish Pub Company was building a new Irish local, we couldn't wait for its opening. And since we first walked through the doors, we were in love. In love with the atmosphere, the perfectly pulled pints, the food (Dear God the Corned Beef Sandwich is a religious experience! ) and the characters of the staff. We've spent many occasions and life's moments here as well, From birthday dinners to at one time making it out Sunday Supper place to catch a traditional set and our dinner. The Sunday musicians are so good back in 2012 we hired a few to play at our engagement party, and brought a bit of the Auld Dub into our home. Today was no different, popped In for a family birthday celebration and stayed for a Sunday set. The music was fabulous the food amazing and the staff excellent! Ordered the usual: Curry Chips (cooked extra Well Done), and the best corned beef sandwich this side of the Atlantic! It's served perfectly on a crunchy swirled rye bread with an amazing apple jam of apples and caramelized onions. Just excellent! We also ordered an Irish Full Breakfast, which my soul craves every now and then! Basically you can't go wrong eating here.
