Fantastic food and great service. We stumbled upon this little family owned Italian restaurant when we were in Cassville for a XC meet. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the desserts were fantastic as well. Peter came out and visited with us after our meal. I highly recommend stopping in and we will definitely will be back. Geraldi's is a super place for a relaxing, quiet meal. Cassville doesn't have many restaurants with good food and service, plus pleasant atmosphere. It's not fancy, but generous portions and the friendly staff make for a positive experience at a reasonable price. read more

I don't know where to begin. I've lived in San Francisco for five years and we have some of the best food in the world here in SF. Despite all that, Geraldi's is my favorite! The food is excellent, especially for the price. I get the "Italian Geraldi", it's actually my favorite sandwich anywhere, period. When I come to visit my family (my parents still live in Cassville) we eat there 4-5 times a week, seriously. They've treated us like family from day one and they are quick, accommodating, unbelievably friendly, and they're some of the most genuine people you'll ever meet! If they were ever going out of business I would honestly loan them the money to keep it afloat, that's how great they are. But I can't imagine that would ever happen because it's by FAR the best restaurant in a town of only 7 or 8 restaurants, and they're always at least somewhat busy. Please keep up the good work! If you like microwaved pasta and GMOs this is the place for you. My family does not own a microwave so when we saw them cooking pasta in a microwave it was very shocking. They politely offered to remake our food when we noticed but it still wasn't very good. I know the options in the Midwest aren't great but come on. Don't microwave your noodles. read more

This was my first time since it was bought back 2 years ago. I was blown away. The changes are fantastic. The garlic bread was so good! The menu has changed (pizza wasn't on it that I remember with the last owners) I decided on the personal calzone with chicken and bacon for the filling. It was very large. Two people could have split it easily. The crust was nice and crisp and very flavorful and great dipped in the marinara sauce. I got tiramisu to go and wish I had a whole pan of it. It is also very good. Service was great and all the staff are very friendly. I will be going back for sure and can't wait to bring more friends with me. I was really pleasantly surprised with Geraldi's - they have the best Italian food that I've had in a long time. The ravioli, tortellini, and garlic bread were awesome, and, as weird as it sounds, their fountain soda was really good, too (very clean and balanced tasting - some places, it's too carbonated and lacks taste, or is flat. It's been a long time since I've had a good Coke that I'm still pretty excited about it). We'd tried to go the night before we did, but they'd closed early due to lack of business. I have no idea why that would be, because the food was AWESOME. I'm really glad that we tried again the next day for lunch. We have now had the pleasure of eating here several times. We have ordered many items off the menu and have tried numerous specials including special pastas and fresh fish. I continue to be impressed. Moving here from California and living in a very rural area it has been difficult finding a really great restaurant. We have found one here. While there normal lunch and dinner pizza, pasta and sandwiches are delicious the specials are a definite level above every restaurant within a 60 mile radius. I can hardly wait to go again. Happened to stumble across this place on a business trip, so thanks for the help Google!! Food is excellent! The bruschetta appetizer we had was maybe the best I've had! We didn't even order it, they just asked if we wanted to try, and served it on a napkin, which I found quaint and awesome Doubtful I'll ever be in Cassville again, but if I do I'll be sure to eat here again. The staff was amazing, I asked multiple questions about the food, directions to Memphis, wifi password (wasn't posted, only negative thing that happened, lol). Instead of acting bothered or annoyed by my questions, the owner (I assumed, he's older and Italian ) went and got 2 other employees, 1 to answer each question, from the back during lunch rush, and they were nothing but polite. One of the cooks actually sat in the chair by me and gave me very helpful information and directions, that were NOT what my GPS recommended, but will get us there faster. I thought the food was excellent. It is original Mom and Pop's recipes type of Italian food. It has been really hard to find food like this in this area. I loved the lasagna and anti-pasta salad. I would recommend this place. It was kind of hard to find though, it is off the main thoroughfare. On highway 37 headed south, pass Main St light, and Less Jacob Ford dealership, and it's the next street, immediate left turn. Google maps is calling it Fasco Rd, but the sign we saw was Sale Barn Rd, but the address listed here is Rt 5. It is worth finding! read more

Forget about the poor review in April of 2017. The previous owner, a REAL Italian, has bought back the restaurant and the food is back to where it used to be--great! We were staying at Roaring River State Park and decided to come into Cassville for a meal, and we are very glad that we did. I had a pepperoni pizza that was the best I have had in a very long time. We live in Springfield MO and all they have their are pizza chain restaurants. This was real East Coast pizza with a really good tomato sauce base and crisp crust. My girlfriend had a salad, and she arranged with them to leave off a couple of items because of her food allergies, but she still said that it was the best salad she has had recently. Very good ingredients, different lettuces. They also have sandwiches and pasta dishes. Bottom line: if you are in the Cassville area, do not miss a meal at this place! I used to like this place and ordered often, til very poor customer service happened to me. After receiving Spaghetti cooked in Vinegar by mistake owner only offered to replace the 2 spaghetti meals, no refund! I live 18 miles away each way (it was 2 carryout Spaghetti meals along with beef sandwiches). I would check foods before paying in the future at this place if I were you. I even called to tell them about the vinegar taste and was thanked so they could cook new batch of noodles and throw the vinegar noodles out. I was amazed when I placed my next order that the owner offered no respectable customer service to fix their error and keep a good customer happy and willing to come back. I will not try their other locations if thats all their customer service practices. read more

This used to be a favorite, was always crowded and great service. The previous owner was on site quite a bit, and often times was the person bringing your food to you. Went back last Sunday, and have to admit it has been a year since I have been there, for take out. The food was satisfactory, nothing special, and was not something that would make me think I had to go back and have it again. What struck me most, was the display case by the cash register, it used to be full of cheeses, olives, and cheesecakes, this time it was empty except for a platter of cookies. Just did not have the same atmosphere. If you need to eat, works for that, but to me the old feel of the place is gone. read more

I found this place by accident last month coming home from XNA to Monett and was so thrilled. Just thinking about it again... makes me want to go back. I want to go every week. I live in Monett and it is just so close. The owners serve you with love and care and do not keep you waiting. They are constantly watching from the cooking area to be sure you are served. The food was outstanding. I am a cook and I couldn't do better. It was so authentic Italian and delicious. Better than I ever found in Springfield which would be so much further. Not only top delicious but the portions were huge. Their special of 1/2 of 2 things would be well over plenty for anyone. The breadsticks were scrumptious and home made.
