It is a shame that Gerard Farm has such poor service. When they first opened, their food was very good. Their cases were filled with selections to eat or take home, and their service was warm and welcoming. Since then everything has deteriorated. On my last visit, over half of the food cases were empty, We were the only ones in the restaurant at that time even though we visited at lunch hour. we were not welcomed. It seemed we were interrupting the 2 ladies who worked there. We stated we were eating in the restaurant when we ordered our food at the counter. Our food was delivered to us without napkins or silverware. There was not even salt and pepper on the tables. The food was lukewarm and bland. When we approached the checkout counter to pay for our lunch, we had to wait for the woman cashiering to finish her phone call. It was not a business phone call. Went day before Thanksgiving to get heat and serve turkey dinners. Not being familiar with the store, I picked up two dinners from the freezer case. The cashier told me that there were ready to heat meals in another case. Appreciated the information and so switched frozen for other. Also got gravy and individual pumpkin roll dessert. Turkey dinner online said cost is $7.99....I was charged $10.99 each. Dinner was actually pretty good. However, the turkey was not carved from a cooked turkey...rather it was deli turkey..disappointing. Gravy was very thick and floury so not the best. The sandwiches look deceptively simple (presentation could be improved) but the one I had was very filling, with stuffing and cranberry sauce in it. I won't spend much time on this review. My family had such high hopes for this establishment. It was going to fill quite a void with other offerings from the over saturated sub shop scene of Manomet. Unfortunately they have fallen flat on there face. Always out of most sides, very few choices and overly priced with poor service, they won't even answer the phone. Went here with the wife and our two kids about a month ago because we were out and needed to eat, had no food to cook at home and I didnt want some fried garbage. My wife and I got the Thanksgiving dinners and the kids got what kids generally get...Mac & Cheese. The Turkey Dinners were GREAT! I was sooo looking forward to Gerards finally opening. We stopped in at 5:00 on a Friday night..and the cupboard was pretty much bare! Disappointed to only see 3 sandwiches listed on the board. I asked If they have wraps and they referred me to the refrigerator case, but there were none there. They made us a couple of wraps with a few slices of turkey along with the stuffing, but they were pretty anemic, for 6.99. We thought we needed more, but the broccoli salad was 6.69 for a pint size container, so we passed. The hot food in the case did not look fresh and there wasn't much. On a Friday night with people coming home from work looking for dinner, there should be an abundance of tasty fresh food available. Turkey meatballs? Turkey loaf? Turkey lasagne? I've only attempted to try the food from Gerard Farm. I've stopped in 3 times. Each time they have minimal offerings or the food looks extremely old. Last two turkey dinners we have had are pretty good. But their gravy has no turkey flavor,when I heated it from the quart container, I had to add turkey base,poultry seasoning, pepper it helped but disappointed about spending $8.99 for terrible tasting gravy. Casual gourmet and Centerville pie company has better gravies. The turkey sandwiches are very good. Very polite servers and very clean inside. read more

I went in on September 12th of 2023 intention of ordering approximately hundred dollars or more worth of various meats and sides. I was the only customer in the rather large establishment and there were two staffers. I was on the phone with my pregnant, homebound describing the items to get our order together while telling one of the staffers what we were ordering while continuing to look around the store for more things to get and convey those to my wife. Right in the middle of ordering that person just disappeared. I tried to get the attention of the other staffer but she ignored me and went into the bathroom. When she came back out we ended up in an argument in which he expressed to me that I was rude for being on the phone and for treating her so poorly because it was actually her day off and she came into cover for someone who was home sick. I did not complete my order. I tried to reach out to corporate and I tried calling a couple of numbers for Gerard Farm I found online but people on the end of the phone they were not connected with the management Gerard Farm location despite also being named Gerard Farm. read more

Foods great, the diners come with all the fixings. I like the sides for the fact they are not over seasoned, I get to add a little of my own touch and preference. Turkey sandwiches are wonderful. The smells of the pit outside and the beautiful work they did to the inside of the building is phenomenal. The ribs were what we tried. Meaty, slightly chewy and cold. They don't leave the fat cap on anything which didn't tenderize the meat. A lot of sides we wanted were already gone, but the pickled cukes with onions were great. It's the ribs we lost our patience with. Sauce seemed mixed with ketchup. They have enough to be fantastic but they should step up their game with the food. We suspect they are going for the middle consumer, not something like Louisiana or Texas. We may be back to try something else in hopes there's something to latch on to. read more

As good as any Thanksgiving dinner....my husband who has been a plumbing and heating contractor for over 40 years was able to get a sneak peak at the kitchen and he said it was the cleanest commercial kitchen he has ever been in...as for the meal--the meat was tender and plentiful--the sides were great and the potatoes were real! Had their large white/dark meat frozen turkey pie tonight, it was about 10% turkey and 90% gravy. There were about a half dozen small cubes of turkey and the rest was tiny shreds of meat in the gravy...$18 bucks! They should call it frozen gravy pie. read more
