A fixture in Manomet since 1976. Rose & Vicki's has been one of my "go to " places for lunch when in the area. Their chicken salad is so fresh, I sometimes think I hear clucking in the background. They offer a wide assortment of wraps, subs, pizza, pastry, salads, etc. Never had a bad experience in all the years I've had food from R & V. Great service, reasonable prices, very clean. In fact, one employee was cleaning the air vents and ceiling metal runners while I was here. One thing though. See "Appetizers", "Chicken Nuggets". Six for $3.40 // twelve for $7.75??? I love it because it's close to where I live or at least one of there locations is close to me , but sometimes still takes a call asking where my food is when I could probably throw a baseball up over a few houses and hit there parking lot , laugh out loud. I've also had stuff forgotten usually drinks on two occasions once with me once with another family member when they showed up to pay cash say the order came to $15 instead of asking if I want my change back they automatically assume that the tip was for them the delivery driver that's just an example both times it happened it was more than $5 left but I believe I giving tips but jeez don't just assume if I give you a $20 bill on a $15 order that's your $5 tip walk away. Both times we let it happen then called the manager they were good for crediting it to phone number first time second time was me I told him don't worry about it he informed me it was that delivery drivers first day . I'll bet they're a bit nicer now. I took an impromptu swing by this place while on my drive along 3A, in the quaint little town of Manomet. I grew up here, and had been away for 20 years... Rose & Vicki's was a staple in our household; a go to for pastries. I walked into this place it looked as though they were just opening. One guy was at the case, busy; another further back busy. I'm the only customer. I stood for probably a minute, without acknowledgement. The guy at the case looked up at me and said "Yeah?." I said "Hey how are you doing?" "Good.". Very friendly, I know. I asked if he had any pastries, and I may have well have asked him for a date with his wife. He was nasty; made me want to run out of the place. Hey, I get it. Maybe a bad day or a bad night; that's fine. Look at my reviews; I'm fair. I'm an entrepreneur, a former restaurant owner (retired). Though treating someone who felt as though they had to make YOU happy, in a substandard way: unacceptable. A far cry from the way this place started so many years ago, that I remember growing up as a kid. Now, with this pandemic, I hope you're all safe. I have had mostly positive experiences with this restaurant. The pizza is great, the salads are pretty good, and the desserts are also pretty good. My reasoning for this place being a 4 rather than a 5 is that they only have pepsi products for drinking and I prefer coke, and also that the food is just pretty good instead of amazing. Went for lunch yesterday to grab a sandwich and waited in line while the two girls on the registers were trying to take orders from the phone and handle the line coming in to place orders to go or whatever.when I arrived there was a bunch of people waiting for their orders taking up all the seating and about four others in line to pick up at anther station. While I was in the the line to order there was one person in front of me waiting to order and I was next. It took a good 6 minutes for this person to give his order due to all the interruptions from the girl on the phone saying " Excuse me I have to take this call" I waited patiently for my turn and none to my surprise a second girl shows up and gets right on the phone. Now nobody is taking my order and I'm waiting going in ten minutes or so. After all this someone from the kitchen decided to help out and says" I'll take the guest in line down here" I start to go over there and he takes some else. Now I'm really pissed! I threw the menu on the counter and left. BTW there were five others in line as left. I wonder how many of those people will be returning?. This whole experience took 17 minutes of my lunch break. Thanks. My advice to the owners of this place is this. Get a phone for just take out at another location behind the counter and free up your front staff to handle customers. Look into some sort of on-line ordering. Your shop looks disorganized and feels like we the customer are a second thought. went to Rose & Vicki's tonight and got a chicken sub w/honey mustard and lettuce, asked for grilled chicken and for it to be well done, my boyfriend got a chicken parm sub. Boyfriend's sub was okay, mine was disgusting....chicken was barely cooked and fatty, there were maybe 4 pieces of lettuce on it and whoever made the sub decided to put sauce and prov cheese on my sub in addition to my boyfriends.
