Not only did it take them 5 months to get my truck in after an accident but are now refusing to do agreed upon repairs that were in the quote/estimate of damages that were agreed upon that happened in the accident. I was involves with a "fender bender" (not my fault) and my insurance gave me several body shops, near my locations, to choose from. I chose GERBER COLLISION & GLASS being the closest to my home. From the office staff to the other shop individuals they were all top notch. They even contacted the rental car company, coordinated everything and offered t take me to pick up the car. I was kept "in the loop" for the entire week and a half that they had my vehicle. Text messages were consistently updating me as well as phone calls. And they're all (Amy, Sarah, etc) very courteous and friendly. When I picked up my vehicle, it was cleaned & washed and they provided a "guideline" for car telling me to please let them know if there was anything I noticed. It was necessary that they order a tire and they'll notify me when it arrives. I had taken my plate off, while it was in their shop, and they put them back on for me! I highly recommend GERBER and I'm thankful my insurance company, Safeco, had them on their recommended shop list! read more

After a side swipe, I chose Gerber to take my car into- and I am so glad that I did. I was able to make an appointment the very next day and left my car to be worked on at that time as well. Amy gave me a ride to my house just seconds after leaving my car at Gerber and took care of all my rental car arrangements. The staff was very friendly and up to date in keeping me in the "loop" about how the repair process was going. I was surprised to hear my car was ready 5 days before the projected date via email and phone call. The repair to my car was beautifully done. The paint matched perfectly (which I was worried about). And not only was the outside beautiful, but they cleaned the whole inside! Wow! Two days after returning the rental and getting my Subie back, my heart dropped. I realized I had left a hefty amount of rent money in the rental car! I called Gerber early that following morning, and Amy had found my money in the rental! Pitiful!!! I walked into the office and no one even acknowledged my standing there 5 feet from the two guys. They talked shop and sipped their latte while I just stood there... not even a "hi - we will be with you". So after my completely invisible front office visit I walked out realizing they don't know how to treat people in CdA. So my boyfriend was told by his insurance company that at Gerber he would get priority treatment. the accident was in October 2020, his truck was finally completed today (5/13/21). They fixed the passenger side door in October, and "blended" most of the paint but the pinstriping still needed done and they said the pinstriper was on vacation till January. He said no problem, and Gerber said they would contact him in January to schedule, well they didn't. My man ended up calling his insurance co asking when his truck was going to be completed, they had record in their system from Gerber that it was completed already. This place is a joke. He picked up his truck, and the pinstriper did a good job, but the fact this co cannot call their customer and explain the situation, this was suppose to take a week. No rental car, no apology, just excuses. If you are like me, and you like straightforward, honest people, do not go here. read more

It's hard to use words like "nice" or "pleasant" when you are describing your experience after a car accident. But Gerber's rocks! The people are friendly, efficient, hard working, and NICE! They made the entire situation PLEASANT!! They made me feel important, called me, texted me, let me know what was going on. My car looks new again! These guys are my Hero. While traveling, I hit a deer that took out all of the cooling radiators and left lights on my truck. Within 24 hours, they found and replaced all four radiators and made temporary repairs so I could get home. Great Customer Service & Body Work.I'd used this shop before it was purchased by the large chain Gerber and was a little concerned their service may have suffered. Well, it didn't. My car did take a little longer than expected, they found additional damage once everything was removed. They were great about keeping me informed about the additional damage and keeping me updated on my repair. My car was only 3 months and still looks like new. I'd recommend them to anyone misfortunate enough to Auto Body Repair. read more
