I heard back from the current manager of the shop after I posted this and, while he was very nice, the information he had was not accurate to what happened at the time of the repair. The current manager believed that my car was taken to the same trim shop that Audi uses. At the time, I needed to get something out of my car while it was being repaired and was taken next door to Ray's Trim Shop, where I saw my car with glass broken out of the back mid-repair. I'm sure the current manager is using the file on my car to provide information, but the previous manager, in my experience, did not provide clear or accurate information. During all of this I tried to call corporate with no response. If someone from corporate would like to talk I would be open to it. This was a terrible experience from beginning to end. read more

Got my windshield repaired here a few months ago and it was a great experience, they did a fantastic job! They called/texted me often to keep me updated, basically detailed my car for free as part of the repair and we're super nice. Also the repair was done really fast I think I got my car back within a week! Would def use this Gerber again, it's way better than the one on king George in Dallas, I had a bad experience at that one. read more

When I first needed body work done on my new Alfa (whoops), I started checking with "car people " as to where to go for work on high end vehicles. Most shops declined to even touch what was then a very new vehicle to the US market; however several people I trusted pointed me to Stuarts. When i pulled in to Stuart's lot, I was delighted and relieved to see another Alfa of the same model and Alfa red sitting there! Their work and expertise was impressive. Stuart's was recommended to me by a high-volume body shop as an alternative to their shop that concentrates more on getting cars in and out as quickly as possible, so I admit I went to Stuart's with high expectations. I was also nicely surprised to pull in the parking lot and see many high-end Maserati's, Porsche's, Ferrari's etc. The "showroom" had another Porsche and Ferrari in it as well. I was greeted by Maria who seemed somewhat shocked that a Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 was being brought to them. I explained that my car had been worked on at the Richardson Dodge dealership, who sends their body work to a third party, which I was not thrilled about and that they missed a lot of work that needed to be completed. Stock parts needed to be replaced - rocker panels, headlight, the shifter collar, brake calipers etc. all of which were bone stock from Dodge. Maria told me Stuart's does not do any suspension work, which I also found hard to believe. I said no suspension work needed to be done, just that the brake calipers needed to be removed and replaced with new ones. Maria then told me she would need to check with Stuart as they are not accustomed to picking up a project that has been started by someone else - which I do understand. But I explained to Maria that all the work that did get done with Richardson Dodge was fine, it was more about all the work that was missed by them, so technically nothing needed "re-doing" at all. She came back from speaking with Stuart and told me they would have to pass. I was shocked and disappointed to say the least. I already had an approved estimate from my insurance company for every piece needed and all the labor it would have taken to complete the job - easy money! I asked if she had any recommendations for a place that could help me and she apologetically said she didn't... I promptly thanked her for providing absolutely no help at all to me and walked out the door. After reading the reviews I feel like I dodged a bullet here anyway and based on customer service alone in the 20 minutes I was there I would absolutely not recommend wasting your time at Stuart's. And let me just thank them again for doing less than nothing for me. read more

After a slight mishap on my M2 that required a front bumper repair and paint, I went to no less than 5 body shops around DFW. Stuart's came highly recommended so I added them to the list of estimates which included a BMW dealership. Surprised that Stuart's estimate was more than the dealer but anybody that knows cars knows the work they've done. My M2 and a C6 corvette were their lower end cars that week from what I saw. Numerous exotics waiting to be repaired so I felt comfortable leaving my lowly M2 with them. Doug and Meredith were good to deal with but things ended up costing more than I originally thought and slower than estimated. No problems with the quality of work and I'm fairly satisfied with how everything turned out but my detailer noted to me that it wasn't a 100% match. I mean it is a repaint after all so I wasn't looking for factory match and I personally couldn't tell. Doug did a great job handling my insurance claim and dealing with my adjuster. I think they're so busy and popular so even a simple job will take longer here. If you have the time and money, I would definitely consider them. read more

My experience was really good. It's hard to use the word great when discussing the damage that an uninsured driver did to my car. The team at Stuart's bent over backwards to make it painless. I have had my car in their shop twice in the last 6 months. The only dig was the delay on parts from Porsche which wasn't in their control. All the things that were - they did flawlessly. They even detailed my entire car like new and delivered it to my house. They were personable, cheerful, and professional. I only use Stuart's because they are the go to for Dallas' highest end cars - everyone knows that. However, they are mastering the art of customer service that larger entities have written books about. They get it! I can't even speak to the quality of their work. But I can speak to the absolutely horrible customer service. My car has been there a week - without any work done to my knowledge, and my voicemails aren't getting returned. My calls are put on hold and left there. The tech sent my insurance supplement info to the wrong place, causing the car to sit there several MORE days without any progress. And I wasn't even notified that there WAS a supplement until I called my insurance looking for an update. I'm renting a car while mine is in the shop, so every day wasted with administrative mistakes and no work done costs me more money. And no one at Stuart's seems to care. read more

Horrible, terrible, unprofessional customer service. Did shoddy paint work on my spoiler, my car paint had been flawlessly maintained. They did eventually correct the flaw but only after I pointed it out. Time line was unreliable. They had my car for 3 months to repair the left front fender, from bumper/spoiler and replace the hood. The owner would not return my calls or request to speak with him. Swirled the paint (amateurs). I spent hours having the paint corrected. They even put swirls on my taillights??? Did not completely restore the car -- stealth laser unit and clear bra were not replaced, window, headlight washer did not work. Do not take you car to these guys.....not TRUSTWORTHY. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I dropped off my Porsche Panamera Stuart's to have the front bumper replaced/painted, all 4 rims fixed/repainted and some other small paint repairs. Not only they were extremely friendly and the turn around time was incredible, but they have done an exceptional job. Extremely impressed with the quality of the service. I will never take my car back to this place again. I was rear ended and took my car in. The person who hit me authorized me to have my rental car for 45 days, more than enough time for them to fix my car. It took them over 60 days and when I got it back, the paint job was poor, the drivers side door didn't close all the way and my drivers side speaker didn't work. Not only that, but I now hear a constant rattle from my convertible top. I had to come out of pocket nearly $600 for a rental car. This was an absolute nightmare and now my poor car is probably severely tainted from their poor work. Don't believe them when they say "it'll be ready next week", I heard that at least 5 times! read more

Last November I bought a wrecked car at auction to fix up as a track car. Stuart, a fan of the track himself, got personally involved and helped put the car back together knowing I was really trying to keep the price down. He sourced some used parts from people he knows to help bring it together. I got regular updates keeping me in the loop, though they really did the whole project pretty quick. I had plans to wrap the car given the mishmash of parts we pulled together, but when I got the car back it was beautiful. I'm putting on numbers, but a wrap isn't necessary. I took my Porsche Cayenne here. Even though the damage from the wreck didn't look too bad but it was petty bad behind the bumper, tailpipe, etc. My car was there for about three weeks because I wanted to perfect just like it was before getting hit, and this is the place to take Porsche and get it back spotless. I worked with Donovan, he was super nice and polite guy. I called pretty much everyday to get status on my car n he was nothing but nice to me. More than a decade ago I brought my car here after being rear ended. The work was well done and finished within a week. My experience with them recently was beyond belief. This time a minor traffic accident to my much older car caused about $2000 worth of damage. It took them nearly 3 weeks to complete. Every time I called I was told the car was about to be painted. When I commented on this, I was told the recent hailstorm had delayed the work; this hailstorm occurred more than a week *after* I brought my car in. However this was simply a minor annoyance, the more serious issue was Stuart's going ahead with the body work while they were aware there was a potentially serious engine issue, which they neglected to mention to me each time I called for an update. The day before I was to pick up my car, I received a call from them telling me I would have to arrange to have my vehicle towed to a garage (this was about an hour after I had already spoken with them the confirm my car would be ready). There was a lot of gasoline leaking in the engine compartment, so much in fact he told me he had watched them push my car around the shop for the past week or two for fear of starting it up. Hello? Why didn't they call me immediately to let me know there was a new problem? Instead, they did $2000 work to a car which ended up getting junked; turned out the engine was beyond repair. They pocketed the insurance money without giving me the (rightful) option to put that money towards a new car. This gives sleaziness a new meaning where I come from! read more

A large 'minor' scrape to my drivers side of my 2006 Acura RSX happened September of last year. This car was my BABY. So after much reviewing and reading online and getting an estimate from Stuart's I took her there. They had her for SIX WEEKS. When I finally did get my car back the work was NOT up to par. The paint is soft and chips easy, even now. I had to take it back in FOUR times to have the door adjusted and RE-Adjusted, it wouldn't open at all, the door wasn't flush with the quarter panel, the latch wouldn't release. It was a mess, the door finally opens correctly and doesn't pop like it did when i took it in the THIRD time. My door now has a large gap between the door and the quarter panel which isn't spaced properly the length of the door. Jessica. Don't even get me started on her, poor customer service. (I believe she is gone now from what I understand). Stuart's never reimbursed me for a rental I had to have so they could hold on to my car and fix it the fourth and final time I took it in. Don't bother with this body shop, don't let the expensive cars out front and in the "show room" fool you, their work is SUB PAR. Look else where in the metroplex to have your car worked. read more

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a service related business. I waited 4+ months for an appointment at Stuart's to fix hail damage on my new vehicle. Now going 7 months into the ordeal, damage and problems caused during the repair as yet to be fixed after multiple return visits. New issues have been found almost weekly since the initial repair. This is after insurance paid over $6k for repairs and they had the car for 1.5 months. Some of the issues I've had: -Bumper not completely attached. -Windshield sprayer not spraying. -Window's don't roll down without either jamming, or falling down due to PDR repair. -Drivers side door installed improperly, hitting bolt on inside of frame and denting/removing paint on door each time it's closed. -67 additional miles added to the car during the first repair. -Windshield trim fell off while driving. -Both edges of the new hood they installed have large dried paint drips on the edges. -The passenger door has dripped paint on both it's edges -The same door has approximately 30 1/2" notches in it, right by the window that have been filled in with what appears to be touch up paint. When running my finger across it, the paint simply comes off. -There are paint imperfections in the drivers panel, another drip on this side. -Where the rear bumper meets the fender, there is more touch up paint. Again, this comes off when running your finger over it. I can only assume they rubbed it off on install, and touched up hoping I wouldn't notice. -The passenger side of the car also has paint imperfections. A dozen "fish-eyes" in the clear coat. -Two chips in the passenger door have also been touched up after it was painted. Stuart's was initially helpful in getting some of these items adressed. However each time they either failed to fix all the issues discussed, or additional items have continued to come up related to the repair. Additionally, I was told my insurance would cover a rental vehicle during one of the periods that they had to take the car back to fix damage they caused. Instead, I received a bill for $264. I would not recommend this body shop. read more
