My 2014 Cadillac SRX has not had a good year. Multiple dents and scratches - the car was sideswiped on both sides with long scratches - it was rear ended by my husband - front dents from rolling into the car in front of me - dents on all four corners.. hit the pipe that is next to the gas pump at a gas station-hit a pipe when I went to drive through car wash - my tailgate popped back up after I had shut it in the driveway (something must have been in the track) and I pulled into the garage - dented the tailgate twice damaging the emblem as well on the back . I took the car to Crest Cadillac - I just wanted them to replace the emblem - "no can do" - the door was dented as well as the emblem and they wanted $3500 for a new tailgate. I took the car to Collision Masters - Shaun , Abdul , and all the other awesome mechanics repaired the back door, replaced the emblem , and repaired all the body damage that was in 8 locations and Painted the car too, for less than what Crest wanted for the back door . The car is stunning - looks like new - and I'm not embarrassed to drive it anymore . This is not my first experience with repairs and the work they did , with the new paint , would have cost me $8-10,000 anywhere else. If there was a 10 star rating - I would give it . In a trying time and in need of support to help ensure my young daughter would receive fair equitable trust worthy HELP after she was involved in a car crash, fortunately no one was injured but cant say same for her car. I was rear-ended in my 2006 Nissan Frontier and had soooo much trouble with getting their insurance, GAINSCO to pay the amount. OMG where would I have been without Shaun, like a knight in shining armor he got on the phone and talked (a little yelling) to them and helped me get them to pay for the damage their driver did. In addition, he talked to the rental company and took care of it all. Thank you so much. As for my truck, he talked their insurance into replacing the bumper in addition to the tailgate which got bent and needed to be replaced. He fixed my window on the drivers side (it did not go down electronically anymore) to many drive thru windows I guess. This he did as a kind service. Gainsco did not get billed for that plus he cleaned the clear plastic on the beam lights which were yellow. They cleaned it with their chemical which made it clear again. Without even asking them to do that. My truck looked awesome. I had the biggest smile as I drove off. The grey shark is back on the road again. I recommend them highly. I cannot say enough great things about this business! I was frantic thinking I would have to pay a huge deductible after my accident. From the moment I entered Collission Masters I was made to feel calm and reassured from Bruce and Shaun that everything would be ok, I would not be out of pocket $500 and my car would look beautiful when they were finished. They even spoke to my insurance company on my behalf because there was some confusion at the rental car company about who was paying for the rental...and it wasn't me.. :) It is a new car and I was sick about the damage not to mention the cost. I recently had a great experience at Collison Master in downtown Richardson TX! My insurance company first instructed me to go to Caliber Collision and obtain an estimate for the body damage on my daughter's car after having a minor fender-bender. The agent at Caliber Collision informed me that I would have to leave the car with them before they would disassemble the car and order the parts. Caliber could not order parts in advance or even tell me how long it might take to obtain the parts. Caliber Collision agent estimated that the actual repair would take 20x days, and that was after waiting the unknown amount of time to obtain parts. In fear that my daughter would be without wheels for six months or longer, I took the car to Collision Master and talked with Shaun, and I'm sure glad I did! While I was in the lobby, Shaun called his parts vendor and confirmed they had the fender and molding in stock. Shaun and agreed upon a mutually convenient date to do the repair, and the repair was completed in three days; the car looks great! My daughter was only without her car for 3-days! Thank you, Shaun! If you want straight forward people that care about their work and your vehicle then you will be happy with them. If you care more about a fancy lobby with an espresso maker and 40 kinds of bottled water than the quality of work you will be disappointed. After three attempts at using the big chain body shops where I felt like I was being herded through the process by people that obviously didn't care about my vehicle, much less me, I decided I was done. Their poor communication, being misled on repairs, repeatedly going to get my car only to find it wasn't completed correctly or things were missed altogether was just exhausting. I was referred to Shaun and was told "the place isn't fancy but they do amazing work" and since I didn't plan on living there I gave it a shot. It is a simple place that reminds me of a body shop in a small town where they care about their work, are straight forward with fair prices and that is exactly what they are. Love this place. Love the staff and their work is excellent. I had my 2011 Silver Nissan Rogue repaired there after the ice storm a few weeks back. My biggest concern was getting my baby car back and not getting some big talk and no follow through experience. Shawn was fabulous. I dealt with him throughout the transaction from the estimate to status checks and the final payment. He was great. He answered my many questions patiently and brought the complexities of car repair to a place where I understood what was going on. He gave me options and we explored those options so that I was comfortable with the decisions I was making. I was given a status call a few days before the car was due to be ready and my car was done ahead of schedule. The work was wonderful and my car looks and drives great. After we had our accident we filed the claim for the insurance and they sent us a check, telling us to go to any shop we wanted. My husband and I got around 3 quotes for the repair + some existing damage. The first several places asked us what happened and gave us a price (after some judging looks). I have no idea why so many of these reviews have been filtered when everyone is saying the same thing, but whatever. To start off, I don't live over here (I'm closer to Ft Worth) but I got into a nasty car accident en route to Plano over the weekend with my BF and our friends came to rescue us, we randomly googled around and found this place. It was close to where we were hit so we drove it in. He's basically just keeping it for us until everything shakes out because the frame was bent and it's an 11 year old car with 237000 miles on it, but he has so far been straight up with us and it really feels like he is on our side. I can't tell you how much Shaun has helped us deal with a really awful situation and I know as the situation progresses we'll be better off having him in our corner. So the point of my review is, if my next car requires body work and it's safe to do so I would drive all the way to Richardson so he could do the work. Yes I'm serious. Words cannot explain how great the customer service is here, Shaun is absolutely amazing. I came in with a broken car door handle on my rickety Corolla FOUR DAYS before leaving for college and Shaun ordered it and had it ready to install the very next day. He was extremely informative and thoroughly explained the procedure as well as the parts I was paying for. To top it off, I found out that my registration was expired 2 days before leaving for college and ended up failing my inspection due to broken head and tail lights. The clear coat on my 2001 Toyota started flaking off during the summer of 2017. The paint was starting to wear away and the bare metal was showing through. I plan to keep driving my trusty Toyota until it dies and I don't want a car payment so after reading the stellar reviews of Collision Masters I took my car in to figure out my options. I was able to have the hood, roof and parts of the door panels painted for an extremely reasonable price. In addition, because my car has weathered both Atlanta and Las Vegas summers, it has faded in spots and my car was three colors. Collision Masters matched the paint to the original color and my car looks a million times better than it has in years. Someone who owned my car before me had some mickey mouse place paint the bumper after some kind of fender bender with paint chipping off almost every single car wash id get. Absolutely awful. Found these guys located right behind my companies corp office by complete accident one day but very glad I did. Just decided to buy a brand new bumper, have them paint it then I'd put on myself. Dropped off the bumper in the morning and by end of the same day it was already done. These guys do a great job, are more than reasonable cost wise and do a speedy turn. Now, I'm not trying to say they can do everything in a day, depends on your situation obviously but for me it was a day and I'm very pleased and glad construction caused me to pass by their place because if I ever need any kind of paint job ever again, this is where I'm going. I recently came in because 2 of my door handles fell off of my car making it impossible to get into the car without having to crawl through the trunk. I had already bought a handle for the back door, but because that wasn't in dire need to be replaced I just had it lying around. Well, when the driver handle broke off (big deal) they were kind enough to put the handle I had already bought on the car the same day, and order a second one (at a very fair price) to fix the back door at a later date. They were very kind, professional, timely, and honest! I will be returning to this location later to get more things fixed. Top notch service and very reasonable pricing. They aim to please the customer and will work with you on your deductible. Had two accidents this year and took one car to Collision Masters and the other to Service King. I had to take my car back to Service King twice for their poor repair job. Collision Masters did it right the first time and it looked great. All I had to do was drive up to the shop and they took care of everything else, having the rental car delivered to me at the shop.
