This is an average of 1 and 10. Fine repair work that was done quickly. It felt like the front office was most interested in profit rather than fairness. The first time I walked in they were quite busy trying to grow the franchise. The next three times there was no receptionist. I once waited on hold for 25 minutes and driver to the office only to find three people in the back working on whatever. It felt like I was overcharged when they realized no insurance adjuster was going to review the bill. A revised bill had an hour added to prepare an OEM item. An odd thing to overlook but perhaps it was an honest mistake. I will look elsewhere for body shop work in the future.

The first time I brought my car in to fix an engine light issue with my oxygen sensor on my Honda accord, he helped recommend a better brand and was honest and helpful. I now have brought my CX5 to him multiple times already for his expert opinion on different issues and for regular maintenance. He's always very responsive, easy to get a hold of, and willing to share his knowledge and expertise. Recently, I brought in a long list of items to be fixed from the dealership, and he was honest in what he thought needed to be done more urgently vs not, and his prices were also much more reasonable. He was kind enough to help me as well with replacing my car battery and windshield wipers. On top of that, they added 4.4 hours of "paint supplies" at $71/hr, which came out to over $300 just for supplies -- something that should never be billed by the hour. When I showed the estimate to family members with experience in car repairs, they were shocked by the numbers. The total came to nearly $1,830 for work that most independent shops would quote at half the price. It felt like the shop was trying to take advantage of the situation. I would not recommend this shop if you're looking for fair and honest pricing. Always get a second opinion before agreeing to repairs here.

I called Eric at Dent Express and asked him if I could come in for an estimate. He said sure. I made an appointment with him. He gave me an estimate that was Much, Much better than anything anyone else was quoting. I agreed to have him fix the car. He even gave me a ride back to my home. As I couldn't pick the car up that evening, he agreed to keep it in his shop overnight. When I returned to pick it up, the car looked great. The repair had been affected nicely. And, then, he said it took him less time than he thought it would, so, he charged me less than what he had originally estimated. I highly recommend Dent Express, and Eric Patton.
