He was transparent regarding the repairs, pricing, and process. His team was thorough, my vehicle was repaired to like-new condition, and the turnaround time was much faster than anticipated. From the very beginning, I learned that the dates that I was given was somewhere pulled out of the abyss. Nothing was/has been done in the time that was told to me on initial drop off. Also, no one ever took the time to check in with me and update me aside from telling me that it was on schedule for a month AFTER the fact that I was told in the initial drop off timeline. I have escalated to what I thought was upper management this whole time and he kept making promises that again were broken in time and time again regarding the timeline and repairs this whole time I thought this person was a manager and he is the estimator his name is Vinny. Vinny even took the time to tell me that it's like HERDING kids in that shop no one does what they're supposed to all these things he likely should not be telling me yet decreasing any confidence I have and the repair of the my car is undergoing there . After another last ditch effort to attempt to call what I thought was the day before I was going to pick up my car and spoke to Vinny. He was very frustrated. He couldn't find the general manager said he was missing also said that if I want to fix my car, I can fix it myself and then he hung up. What a complete negligent business now I have to figure out if my car is even gonna be repaired correctly, as it is still there. The national customer service is not even concerned enough to call me back to provide any assistance. UPDATE: After calling the national customer services team I was contacted by the local regional manager Douglas. He turned many wrongs into a right and took care of all of my concerns! We took our Mazda in for some hail damage, and were a little worried when we found out our hood had to be replaced. We shouldn't have worried at all! Jeff, the body shop manager, was amazing! Not only did he work with our tight schedule, But he made sure our car was 100% perfect when we picked it up. Everything from the dent repairs, to the replaced hood, looked brand new, and we are 100% satisfied with how it turned out. Not only will we be taking our other vehicle in for Jeff to fix, but we have also referred our family and friends, and will continue to do so! read more

Update: the incompetence, lack of craftsmanship and ineptitude displayed by this company is staggering. Much has transpired since I posted my original review. To address the simplest item, the weld on the exhaust: they welded one very small spot, and by the time I changed the oil I noticed it was already broken and flopping loose, so I bought a clamp and put that on. When they repaired the Jeep the first time, I had them replace the rear bumper that was damaged with one of those bumpers that has a spare tire carrier that swings out to open the tailgate. They charged me extra to install it, and I agreed to that. What I did not agree to was for them to throw away half of the mounting hardware and call it good. I found out they did that when the bumper ripped part of the rear cross member that it was mounted to. They told me that they would have to charge me $1800 minimum to mount the aftermarket bumper to the Jeep, welding all kinds of supports to the Jeep. I told them just to replace the damaged cross member and I will reinstall the bumper myself. I figured if they couldn't follow the instructions and do it right the first time, they wouldn't do much better the second time. The quality of work that you will find at this shop is going to be way below average for the industry. read more

after the major hail storm in Denver I wasn't sure if my car was going to be totaled or not. Connie, Josh, and their team were awesome! Here is what you can expect from my experience: -Told to pick up car, was not ready when I arrived, had to come back -Didn't fix front fender as was told -Missing piece of brand new wheel they ordered -Asked for an estimate in a second car, since I was going there all of these separate times. Josh said "just bring it by, no need to schedule". Did twice and he couldn't give an estimate. This Tuesday, when picking up my other car, he said I can take you this Saturday. I scheduled and showed up at 10 Saturday and they said it was for next Saturday. Neither he or the receptionist specified that it wouldn't be this Saturday -Asked for the part they ordered and called to say they had, told "my parts people aren't here". These people have wasted so much of my time and overpromised and underdelivered. read more

The first impression for this business, or at least the one I received on my first visit, was a barely professional person at the front desk with poor communication skills. I have a tiny paint job for a hobby car that I'm not in a hurry for. The front desk person made assumptions and didn't take the time to understand my needs. My favorite part (facetious!) was when she pointed to her scheduling calendar as a way to illustrate something that I didn't understand (because it was her scheduling calendar). So bad communication. I confirmed with her that I was more than happy to wait for another professional at the business so waited on the couch for another person to help me. He held promise and understood my needs by asking questions. I thought "Oh good, maybe there is hope for this business" but that was short lived because he never called me back or text messaged me (like he said he would). So I'm going to Maaco and I am using this as a lesson to always look at reviews and ratings before walking in off the street. read more

Terrible service!! My wife called to get a quote and never received a called back. I call the next morning morning well past opening hours and it goes to voicemail. Every time I try to do business with this location it's always a hassle. I've dealt with them on three other separate occasions and it's like pulling teeth to do business with them. When my brand new car was hit in a parking lot, I brought it to Gerber for the repairs. Admittedly this car is my "baby" and did not want it in just anyone's hands for the repair, also did not want to worry about someone taking it for a joy ride.. The staff at Gerber took fantastic care of me, communicated with me at every step of the process, had the car back to me before the date promised, and did a top notch job on the repair. Had terrible service. Had to take the vehicle back on multiple occasions to get fixed. Had missing pieces that were not on the vehicle. They had to keep it longer than original for windows the couldn't find and still required to bring it back to get the missing pieces put back on. read more

If I could rate a 0 I would. The service is terrible, the quality control is non- existent. Took vehicle in for hail damage, 1st they kept it longer than they estimated, when I got my vehicle back there were tons of problems that were not there when I dropped it off. They replaced parts with the wrong part numbers. They replaced the windshield and now when I wash the vehicle it leaks water. The more I look at what they have done the more I find wrong with it. And to top it off the manager tried to avoid talking to me. The Highlands Ranch service department is the worst, I would not recommend anyone to this place. read more

My car was stolen and taken to Gerber Collision after it was found and almost totalled. I had the most amazing service as Josh called me at least twice a week with updates. The office staff including Josh and Carl are so professional and make you feel like you are going to be taken care of no matter the situation is with your vehicle. If I ever need work on my car in the future this is where I will go. Also, anyone asks I make sure to tell them about Gerber Collision as word of mouth goes a long way!! They are the best!! This location and gerber automotive repair is excellent. I recommended them highly and without reservation. I had repairs done in my car that were extensive at a different location. They guarantee their work. A year later I arranged for some warranty work to be performed at a location more convenient for me. The original gerber location connected me with Connie, the manager at the highlands ranch location. Everything had been arranged for my repairs to be done while I waited and had allotted only an hour for these repairs needed my schedule. She was very friendly, helpful and showed a great deal of concern with my satisfaction. I was not immediately satisfied with the result and she handled my concerns immediately and with excellent customer service to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the result having her service technicians readjust the panel that concerned me. Taking me back to the shop she had me inspect the work and very specifically asked me if I was completely satisfied with the result which I really appreciated. I assured her that I was satisfied and appreciated that she was concerned about my satisfaction. After my warranty work was performed she offered to have my car fully detailed. I declined because I did not have time to wait for a full detail. Instead, keeping my time constraints in mind she arranged to have the exterior of my car washed. This was above and beyond my expectation. They completed the warranty work in under an hour including the bonus car wash. I've had several services done by Gerber automotive and have always been satisfied. This location and Connie in particular are absolutely top notch! read more

Do not take your vehicle here. We have been going through hell to get our SUV fixed. In Feb 2017 we were sideswiped, brought our car here for evaluation and repairs. Our insurance paid about 3k for repairs and we paid our deductible. Gerber told us that all parts were in and we could drop off our car at our convenience which we did. Then, for some reason we had to wait about 3 more weeks for more parts. All of this time without a vehicle because of course we did not have rental on our insurance, our fault. Then, we were able to pick up our car after about a month. Took it home and immediately heard a massive windleak, still saw a few dents and brought it back. Gerber had our vehicle another 3 weeks trying to find the airleak and fix it which apparently meant they had to put 100 miles on our car to do so and they still couldn't find the air leak so they brought it to another Gerber to find it. Order more parts, another few weeks and we got it back again. At this pickup we immediately saw there was white paid sprayed all over the plastic under our doors. So we sat there and watched as they dumped 2 bottles of laquer? on the plastic, it smelled like nail polish remover whatever it was. Now the black plastic on the drivers side of our car looks about 60 years old and really isn't black. We got our car back with the air pressure light on which never comes on because of the nitrogen filled tires, also still 2 small dents, our driver window fell down, rear driver window button fell into the door, broken and missing plastic clips throughout both doors and front fender, ripped the leather on the door from removal, and our keys do not work to lock or unlock the doors manually...just so many things so wrong. We told our insurance company that we would not bring our car back to Gerber for them to keep it for months and ruin even more on it, so we got a quote from another repair shop and they estimated 3700 in damages to fix. It is going to cost MORE to fix our car from GERBER than it was from the accident! Because of the local shops dealing with hail damage and not being able to fix our car with our window stuck down or use our keys manually we had no choice but to try the dealership. Insurance does not work with dealerships, we ended up having to have Gerber pay us out the estimate of 3700 to fix our vehicle and still are having to pay out of pocket to fix what they ruined. This shop is a joke. We dropped our car off to them in Feb. and got it back in May with all of the damages, ended up getting paid out because of their incompetence and will still need to pay more to try to get our vehicle back to the condition it was in before the minor accident and before Gerber got their hands on it. These people do not know how to properly fix a vehicle and cannot even properly assess damages since we had to wait more than 3 times for parts that we were told were in hand at the point of our drop off. Horrible experience. We were even told that our keys not working in the doors were not their fault while BMW said it is a piece that had been damaged and the new part is 500 which was not in the quote, so theres another 500 PLUS labor out of pocket just to be able to use our key in the door! Insane. I feel like they owe us a new vehicle and am appalled at their lack of communication and horrible service. We just keep finding more and more internally with our doors that were replaced and anything they touched. Everything is floppy and falling apart- including the interior of the doors that were not properly attached back on. Horrible place. read more

The Most Trustworthy Body Shop in Your Area, Gerber Collision & Glass Unfortunately, our car was a victim of a hit-n-run driver when it was parked in front of our house recently and our insurance company denied our claim.
