This place is a total joke. I went to them to repair damage on my truck and at first I thought the repair was done. Then I noticed they left scratches on my windshield. Eventually I also noticed the trim around my wheel well was not properly placed on. Kyle Fowler the manager called me when the windshield was in (he told me it would be in the next week and somehow that week he was in meeting every day so now we're at the start of another week) and he told me I could bring my vehicle in early for them to get it done because I mentioned to him I work on the days Gerber is open. When I showed up (Wednesday) they told me the glass guy was not available and neither was Kyle. After checking out the trim, that somehow turned into body work that caused for the truck to be stripped and stripped and painted. Norma at this point was very short with and very rude because at this point they're just viewing me as an annoying customer. The reason why is this would be the third time I've had to bring in my truck for repairs. I will admit the second time was not their fault because parts were on back order. But on that second trip they had sour taste about me because I left a review listing all of the trash they left in the bed of my truck after the first time repair. We agreed I would come back the next day (Thursday) because they needed to keep my truck but wouldn't be able to give me a rental because Kyle Fowler had to approve it first. He screened my calls but texted me to drop it off and at the MORNING (15 MINS after opening so very early) of drop off I told him I would need my truck by Monday (today) because I would be leaving town Tuesday for the duration of the month. Now here we are and they have told me that my truck has not been painted and they pretty much want to me to leave the truck another day. Her exact words as she repeatedly cut me off were "Idk what Kyle told you". That is a major issue!! Along this journey Kyle has set up expectations and deadlines for me that he has not relayed to his employees and now he tells me he's out of town. Norma is very rude with me brcaue now they're tired of dealing with me. The feelings are mutual. They left trash in my vehicle to start, they had to replace floor mats because they misplaced one, they scratched my windshield, and botched a trim on my truck and I've somehow become the issue. read more

i had an appointment with satellite not knowing gerber existed until i drove by them . I called and talked to the very nice lady who answered the phone she gave me a quote . i scheduled the appointment for today . they said that they would call yesterday and tell me what time . i call them this morning and they say they don't even have me in the schedule . So i go on yelp and start looking for more reliable places . i found Best Price Auto Glass they were over 100 dollars cheaper and took my truck right in . Then when on the way to pick up truck from getting windows done i get a call from someone else saying they can't find my glass and they would need to reschedule. th management of this establishment leaves a lot to be desired read more

Okay so this is a follow up on my previous review. I got a random phone call from someone from their corporate office on Friday of last week saying that he was flying in to come see how poorly my car looks from this particular location. He told me he would call me on Monday or Tuesday to set up a location to meet up to further discuss options on fixing this issue due to my first Yelp review, well here it is almost Thursday and nothing.. no call nothing.. with more time that passes the worse my car gets. How can anyone or business for that matter, charge close to $6000 to repair sand damage and not paint the entire car, but over buff the entire thing, burning my black paint. I should go to the automotive bureau and have them investigate it maybe then I will get my car back to new. This place is shady and I really wish I never ever trusted them with this repair. It was my first new car I ever owned. I purchased it with 95 miles on it, and took it to them trusting that they would not f#$k it up like they have, and instead of making it right I get asked by the previous manager "why did I have to buy a black car? My car had a shattered rear quarter panel window. Victorville Chevy sent me over to 1st Certified Collision on 7th in Victorville. I was greeted by friendly people and Kyle helped advise what was needed, when part would arrive and that if I ordered an after-market window that would save me some money. I thought that sounded good, especially as the vehicle is 10 years old. I was checked in and out by a very friendly clerk (sorry I forgot her name), and was on my way. A second Kyle kept me informed via phone calls that the part had arrived and he would call when done. A few hours later, car was finished. Kyle rang me up and sent me on my way. The car was super clean and smelled minty fresh. The window looks great. The tinting matches perfectly. I also was kept informed via text messages. From the moment I called to make an appointment for an estimate to when I picked up my car, I was blown away by their service and work. I would highly recommend Luis Fernandez to help you through this stressful process. He was always so courteous, professional, and diligent. I brought my car in for an estimate right before they closed and he emailed me the estimate early the next morning. His responses to my emails were almost instantaneous, which was really impressive. He also called me the day after I dropped off my car to give me an update on the repairs and provided almost daily updates thereafter which I didn't expect.I really appreciated the patience he had with me and all my questions and of course, I loved the repairs on my car. There was extensive damage to the passenger side and it looks brand new - I couldn't be happier. Another thing I really appreciated was that he took the initiative to pre order my parts so that I wouldn't need a rental for too long. After being involved in a car accident, my insurance broker referred me to 1st Certified Collision Centers (Victorville, Ca.) and I have to say that I don't regret making that decision. It only took them 2 weeks to repair my vehicle considering the fact that the accident I was involved in damaged the main frame of my car. Furthermore, not only did 1st Certified repair my vehicle but the owner (Gil) went the extra mile and coverd the entire cost of my rental car.
