Dan and his team have completed three separate projects for me within the last couple of years: terrace back hill and install new concrete patio; drive way, walk way and steps, front retaining wall, and front patio; construct a new wall with breeze block; remove existing pond, fill and pour pad for hot tub. Had an excellent experience with Gerber Concrete. I lIke that they are small enough that I was able to work directly with the owner (Dan). Dan is extremely nice and was very responsive. They removed/replaced our back patio as well as recommended a person to move/re-connect the A/C unit. Mingo was the foreman and he and his crew worked extremely hard. I had 4-5 concrete contractors come out to bid on my patio and choose Dan because of his professionalism, experience and competitive pricing. We're extremely happy and satisfied that we did. Dan and his foreman were easy to work and to communicate with. They were able to come in and demo the existing patio cover and concrete. The crew did a ton of prep work before the actual concrete pour: grading the soil, compacting the sub base, and rebar every 18". This is the company I'll call again when I'm ready to have some cement slabs replaced in my front walkway. They did a new cement back patio for me and it looks very nice. They were fast and cleaned everything up when the job was done. They even did some nice border trim to divert rain water away from the sliding glass door, without even being asked to do so and then didn't even charge me anything extra. He connected all pumping with ease and the concrete truck pulled right up and was pumping in no time. After talking with my finishers they were also extremely pleased with how Dan was pumping and able to understand what a finisher wants and also works with you not getting far ahead. Dan is the man! I am a homeowner, and needed to have a 12-ft wide driveway added to my existing narrow driveway. A friend had used Gerber Concrete Services to add a side yard/patio extension, and gave me Dan's number. I am working on a very tight budget and asked Dan if he could come pour and finish the concrete if I made the forms and prepared the area, and he was cool with that. We had many quotes to have the concrete yard of our back house redone. Some were absolutely outrageous and so glad we called Gerber Concrete. Dan came out quickly and provided us with the best bid for the work in a timely manner. Once we accepted the bid, we let him know we were hoping to get the job done soon. Gerber Concrete Services is awesome! I got multiple quotes from other contractors and Dan's was not only the most reasonable, he also offered higher specification concrete with Fibermesh and 18" rebar spacing. The other contractors wanted to do 36" spacing with steel mesh in areas, no Fibermesh and lower PSI concrete. The service was prompt and the end result is absolutely fantastic.
