The gym has a mix of cardio, weights/lifting, and functional movement. I would say the variety of the classes is the best because sometimes you walk away feeling exhausted and others more just sore. There is a program That rotates every few months and has a certain theme , but for the new or casual gym goer you will Not get lost in the weeds because the coaches help or scale workouts to make it more approachable. The atmosphere is upbeat and positive . The gym hosts social events and tournaments which keep things interesting and fun. There are many class times and singing up and canceling is simple. I have been to a few group class style gyms in Dallas and by far this is the best. If can get to a few classes a week I almost always feel better in mind and body.Lastly, the instructors and in particular the owner Zach go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and is getting something out of their workout. As someone who is very self-critical, and competitive with myself, I found the environment to be inclusive, friendly and non-judgmental....just what I needed/wanted. The workouts are well structured and easy to scale for all fitness levels. I love the mix of cardio, strength training, HIIT, movement exercises, etc. The owner, Zach, and the coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable which is something I was looking for because I tend to ask a lot of questions. They are happy to help you reach personal goals if you're like me and appreciate that kind of support and feedback. They are passionate about health and fitness - they often participate in the workouts which is encouraging when you're in the middle of a tough workout knowing that they've already been through it. I can't say enough good things about this gym and these people. It's also a bonus to have physical therapy available, on-sight. Jess is amazing and helped me with my hip mobility and recommended scaled movements specific to upcoming workouts (she is also a gym member which is awesome because she knows exactly what's going on in the workout cycles). Thanks to Vickery, I am in the best shape I've been in since college. I have to give Zach, Stefan, Rachel, and all the coaches credit for helping me get my life and confidence back. My partner already had everything and I mean what you expect when she is a Black belt in martial arts. I have been to plenty of group fitness classes and this is the first time I ever went with my partner. She made the experience so freak amazing. The place was clean and the bathroom super clean and lockers in the lobby and bathroom which is super nice to have. Now the class it was a tough one and Jen made it super interactive and fun ! She kept us engaged and motivated us the whole workout. I'd have to admit I was gassed after 30 min and my partner was over there punching the bags like a championship fight. There was an excellent mix of boxing and exercise. They provide you with gloves when you arrive. They also make sure the bag you reserved is at the right height for you. The lights are off during the class and that made me feel very comfortable as boxing/hitting is not my strong suit-- haha. The music is on POINT! Just make sure you bring your own water bottle. Although, they might have some for purchase. I can't remember, but they do have a fountain to refill your personal bottle.

Now I really get to check this place out even though I already love it here. When you sign up you can take classes at this location or their SMU location (above Barley House). They offer classes from kickboxing, barre type classes, cardio, weight training and even have a spin studio. The classes I have taken each have pumpin' music and you do the exercises to the beat of the music and are led by an instructor. Each instructor I have had, have been fun, and energetic. The classes are big so you watch and listen to the instructor to see what to do at each move. I love classes where you're on your own but have the community vibe too. Not that I don't like working out with men but there's something nice about an all female gym where you feel a little bit more at ease. I have seen one or two guys in here so it looks like they can take a class? I am fully digging this place and liking the scheduled, and all the different work outs to choose from. Parking feels a little challenging being off Irving Blvd but I have never had an issue. You check in at the front desk and go to your workout room. The instructor/coach will give you further instructions. When leaving make sure you put up any equipment and wipe down your mat with the cleaners and paper towels provided. The GRIT app is so easy to use and you see the full schedule of classes at both studios. There are descriptions of the classes and will let you know if sneakers, grip socks or being barefoot is required.
