The interior is massive and open with lots of machines and areas to work on pretty much any area of your body. Not only this, but they have multiple machines of each type so I've rarely run into the issue of having to wait for one to open up. There is plenty of space to move around and even find a corner to be reclusive in if that's more your style. The equipment is always kept in good shape and gets maintained regularly. I've noticed the gym is very clean as the workers walk around constantly to make sure everything is tidy. I'm someone who gets hot rather quickly, especially when working out, and I find that they have plenty of fans that both cool me off and provide good circulation. The staff is always very friendly and always welcome us in as well as say goodbye when we leave. The women's locker room is very clean and big with lots of bathroom stalls, shower stations, changing rooms, and personal lockers. Personally, I feel it's best to become a black card member so you have access to the members only areas as they are well worth it. This location especially has multiple rooms for tanning as well as multiple massage chairs and hydro massage stations. The staff is very helpful in understanding how to use all the accommodations. Considering the price and location, this gym is very good and I would recommend it, especially for beginners!

Recently my local LA Fitness closed, so this location has become the nearest option for a lot of…read morepeople. Because of that, it is definitely busier now, but overall the club has improved significantly after the reported $1 million renovation. There are a lot of positives here. The new equipment and machines are a major upgrade, the aesthetics are much better, and converting the old basketball court into an additional weight room was honestly a smart decision considering how crowded gyms get now. They also added Pilates classes and other premium features, which gives the club a more modern feel overall. The biggest issue is still the pool situation. While the pool itself is clean and maintained well, it is effectively unavailable from 4-7 PM every weekday because it is heavily used by a private children's swim club. For people who actually pay to use the gym and swim laps after work, that is frustrating. At minimum, they should reserve two lanes for the swim club and keep one dedicated lap lane open for adult members during those hours. A lap lane should be for lap swimming, not casual playing or groups standing around. The other issue is the plumbing and shower system. It is hard to understand how a club can spend that much money on renovations while still having such poor water pressure management in the locker room. Every time someone flushes a toilet, the shower pressure drops across all the showers at once. In a newly renovated club, that really should not be happening. Overall, though, it is still a solid gym with good equipment, a cleaner modern layout, and plenty of training options. If they fix the pool access situation and address the locker room plumbing issues, it would be an excellent location.

Josh, the Manager is a great example of someone who never forgets who the customer is, like some of the bigger clubs. He enjoys his work, being there and will go the extra distance to be sure you have a great experience while in the club. Trophy Fitness has fantastic trainers that are always happy to help. Kelly. the owner, listens to his members/customers and responds to them. I also recommend the Trophy Elevation downtown as well. I've been a member at Mockingbird for 10 yrs and would give them my highest ratings and recommendations!

Dude has me stand there waiting while he does some other stuff, about eight minutes. Then says before he will allow me to look at the equipment I have to let them take a picture of me. Of course I say no because that has nothing to do with safety or anything that wouldn't be illegal. So the guy just tells me I can't look. Now, in a similar situation I once heard of from a buddy in law enforcement, people were using pictures and IDs to make fake passports and IDs for some trafficking. Doubt that is what the kid was doing, but it still creeped me out that this young man was collecting pictures of people. I ended up going to Lifetime and it felt safer.
