2 1/2 stars I wonder why? My fault for not reading all the bad reviews. Good luck going to this ridiculous establishment. I'm clicking on the website. I'm trying to figure out what documents to bring and they don't say. I called and they say they're not responsible for telling us which documents to bring. So when I show up with a copy of the birth certificate that is not adequate, and he tells me that I can get a driving test if I'm back by 5 PM so I drive 45 minutes round-trip I get there at 4:55 he tells me that I cannot get a driving test because now it's past time even though I got in the door five minutes before 5 PM. They sit behind bulletproof glass and just laugh at the customers. I'm sure that their job performance is not tied to their pay. I didn't bother to call over a supervisor because just he's going to say the same thing. What a waste of time and fortunately I didn't pay ahead of time. I doubt even a high school degree is required for them to even work here. But just like the DMV, they got us by the throat and if we don't use the service somebody else will and they're making money hand over fist at $65 per driving test. I'll have to just go with the DMV because I refuse to give them my money. Worst customer service just like every other review. But if you still don't believe me, then, go ahead and give them your money. read more

Absolutely love this place. All of the same services as the MVD (or is it DMV?) for a small amount more but without the long lines and famous "slower than molasses" service. If you plan to take a driving test, be aware that they stop at 5 pm. Nowhere does it say on the website there's a driving test time. 5:36 and was not able to take a driving test. Having been through this process before I told them these are the only documents needed/provided. They would not register the car because of their lack of knowledge regarding out of state documents. I went there to get my registration done and they were pretty quick, plus open later than the usual dmv. They do charge $15.00 convenience fee but I think it's worth it. The dmv takes forever and GG&D was fast. Staff is friendly and a nice waiting room. It's where I think I'll go from now on, also they are open on Saturday!! read more

I never received ID. They also make it sound like this is not their fault that you never receive your ID from their service. I went in and was told since I was out of state and trying to renew my license in AZ that I would have to take a written test or pay $13 online to get my Wash state Driving record. So I went home got my DVR online and went in the next day and was told that i I didn't need any of that and that all they needed was my WA state drivers license number (since I had lost it I didn't have it but I had the number). So the lady took it and said ok are you ready for your picture? And I got my license that day. I just wish they would inform there employees about what's needed and what's not so I didn't have to waste $13 online. Or stress on reading the manual for a test read more

I went to get a replacement ID in January, they sid it would take 2-4 weeks. They did not send me my ID in the mail. They also said I had 15 days to come in if I did not get it in the mail. They did warn me that I might not receive it which is kind of weird and felt like this happens a lot - maybe a scam, tried to give them the Benefit of the doubt and went I to get a new one. They said it took me too long to come in and said I have to pay the fee again. They were very rude . I tried to go in there but they were closed during the virus and they wouldn't take it into Consideration. read more

I go here to save time and it seems like every time I go it takes more time because I have to go back and forth so many times because they are not explaining to me what I actually need . It took me three or more tries to get my out of state vehicle registered in AZ. Did everything I need to start an account with AZMVD.gov. Does not have info on out of state registration. Went to the office 2x. Called the number indicated on the flyer. I just got fed up and tried 3rd party company to assist. I called GG&D to check on what paperwork I need to present to register my out of state vehicle. Great response. Got the info, and went. It took me no more than 30 minutes to get processed, considering there were people before me. Now, I'm all set. They'll give you a temporary reg card and tag. You will receive the physical tag and registration in the mail. She said it would take 5-10 days. I wish I'd done this before going to all the hassle through AZMVD. read more

The worst place to take your drivers test !!! Our granddaughter failed three times, took her to a real dmv and she passed with 100 percent! The worst business I have ever been to!!! The employees could care less if your child passes or not!!! If I had the option I would give them 5 minus stars!- she got docked points for going to slow in a school zone , slowing down for a speed bump, came to a stop and took her hands off the wheel!! I orig. Had an appointment with the MVD on a Thursday so my daughter could do the road test. Unfortunately they xld because their systems were down. Friday I drive to this place to do it. Online it said Driving Test services til 6:00pm. Great that works with my schedule. After work Friday we head over. Grab a ticket and wait for our number to be called. When we do get called, we find out that they dont do road test after 4:30. Thats really frustrating because it doesn't say that on the website or inside the building. Now we have to wait til Mon because I work long hours on the weekends. Mon rolls around and we make it to this place at 3:30. The place is not packed at all. Grab our number and only have to wait 10min. At the window we provide birth certificate and drivers permit. Oh guess what? They also want to see proof of insurance. I run back out to the car to get that. Daughter is given paper work to fill out. As shes filling it out we realize they also want her SSN. ugh I thought her birth certificate was going to be enough. I don't have it memorized so I run home to get it. Im back in 20 min. And the place is crowded and now there are three teens waiting ahead of us to do the road test. After submitting all the required info and paying $60 , we wait. Yup $69. Was not expecting that much. The reps are behind glass windows so when she said "Im going to charge your card $60" I thought she said $16. I was shocked when i saw my receipt. Again no prices posted inside or on the web Apparently they charge extra for teen drivers. It wasn't until 5:45 my daughter was called to do the road test. I don't think it was a thorough test. She was back quickly. I asked her where they drove and she said basically just around the block, literally. I don't think that's a sufficient test when your about to hand someone a liscence. Well she passed. From there it was only about 5 more min before they gave us her temporary liscense (actual one arrives in mail) and we could leave. Finally done a little after 6pm. For better customer service this place could make sure prices are posted so there's no surprise.
