The outdoor bar stops serving around 9:00 p.m., but we were able to move to a covered area near to the hotel restaurant and bar, which was equipped with heat lamps and provided a comfortable place to continue the evening. Service throughout the event was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend The Smokehouse for group gatherings, birthday parties, or a casual day out. The following night I closed out a card tab and the receipt I signed showed $0 tip, so I left additional cash gratuity. Only after requesting an itemized receipt later did I find that a 20% gratuity had already been included in the charge, but it was not reflected on the receipt I signed (very shady). It ultimately took over a month and multiple follow-ups to get refunded. Just be careful and always ask for an itemized receipt before tipping.
