Quick to cook and tastes much better than anything you're getting from the Jewels. Second the fresh pizza is better. Solid thin crust but go for the extra thin. Really the only downfall is the lack of delivery, if they delivered, no one in Lombard or Villa would stand a chance. read more

The app asked what went well, well everything went well every single time I order from here, for years. We have ordered from here for ever but now we live in Florida. Our sons are still in the area so we visit a couple times a year and always bring back frozen pizzas from Gianorios. They are so kind to us we order one day they freeze them and shrink wrap them for us to take on the plane trip back and we appreciate this gesture when we get back to the land of absolutely no freaking good pizza. read more

Has become my go-to pizza spot after over a decade of just ordering where my parents always had. Every pizza I've ordered fresh has been superb and they do not skimp on ingredients! The frozen pizzas were a revelation, you will not get a better value or better quality. Orders are always ready when they say they will be and service is friendly. Haven't tried their desserts yet but glad that the site says cannolis are made to order- anything prefilled will soften and that's a hard no in my book! One tip for the frozen pizzas, if you have a baking stone make sure to use it! The ones with toppings are hefty and will benefit from the superior heat transfer. read more

Pizza is pretty darn good, but wish there was online ordering as in high busy times the wait time is extremely long and just not worth it. So you need to call in early and place well ahead. Ok, Wow, Wow, Wow. I don't know what to say. I have been eating pizza my entire life. I estimate by my calculations I have eaten about 600 pizzas. I am extremely critical of the pizza I eat and who I order from. I was in the Lombard area ( visiting relatives I don't like) and took a chance at this place. Hands down it is the best thin crust pizza I have ever had. Yes EVER had. Great staff, great service, and outstanding pizza made in an authentic oven by people who know how to make a great pizza. When I picked up the box I could tell it was something special and the smell in the car on the way back was almost irresistible. When you have passion for what you do as a business and you have quality people and use fresh ingredients you create something special. I am writing this review the morning after enjoying the pizza that we ordered last night with green olives and mushrooms. It is such a good pizza just writing this review is making my mouth water so I just finished all the leftovers. Also, I am now less reluctant to come visit my relatives in Lombard because now I can also get this great pizza. I have a phobia of ordering pizza over the phone. (No idea why) when I called, the person answering was so kind and helpful. I ordered the family size regular crust cheese and it was much bigger than I thought it was going to be! Then we got it to our destination and had a slice (or two or three) and it was so good! I moved out of Chicago a month ago and never really appreciated how good I had it as far as pizza is concerned. I miss Gianorio's so much! I used to order the double dough with the garlic and olive oil sauce instead of marinara. I would get extra garlic and spinach as toppings and it was made to perfection every time! I had read facebook reviews and yelp reviews and figured I would try an extra thin, well done, cheese and sausage pizza. It definitely wasn't extra thin, to me it was a regular thin pizza. It was so soggy that it was hard to hold. There was too much sauce on it, and I think that was what made it soggy. This is a carry out place only. So it's taken a while for me to try their pizza. I had a taste for good pizza. We ordered from here based on other favorable reviews. They were spot on. We had a thin crust cheese pizza. I believe that any place with good cheese pizza can make any pizza good . They also sell frozen pizza. The price was extremely reasonable. So we got one for later. Now I'm glad we bought it. The crust wasn't too thin. It had a nice crunch without being chewy. It was not greasy. Next time we'll try their thick crust pizza. Maybe with a variety of toppings. I have tried many pizzas here and have decided it's just not for me. I have a hard time with how expensive it is, and this weekend we ordered three pizzas for a party and it cost us $70 and they would only take the $1 off coupon. Frustrating. The thin crust pizza is good. I like the stuff they put on the bottom of the crust- it's tasty and unique. We used to love the spaghetti and meatballs pizza but the taste has changed and I no longer like it. Not sure what changed- maybe the cheese? We tried a stuffed pizza and pan pizza this weekend. They looked almost the same and the crust was not crisp but kind of soggy. Not what I usually think of when I think of stuffed pizza or pan pizza. It was not buttery or cornmeal-ish like some other local places' crusts. It was not great. Out of the two, I preferred the pepperoni stuffed pizza, which I think had an extra layer of crust between the cheese. The sauce and pepperoni had good flavor but I did not like the crust. It seemed like most of our group agreed- most people left the crust on their plates. Also, though we picked up our pizza on time (actually a few minutes early) the pizza was quite cold by the time we served it (about 10 minutes after we picked it up). I wonder how long it had been sitting there. Overall, I wish I liked this place a lot more than I do. I just don't think it's worth the price anymore. Fortunately a lot of people will keep them in business even if we don't go back so I'm glad for that for them! read more

Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I also ordered buffalo wings but they don't toss them in buffalo sauce, they put it on the side. But those wings were really awesome. Honestly the worst pizza I've ever had. Similar to their gelato, it was a strange mess of flavorless mush.

We have had pizza from Gianorio's Pizza & Pasta several times and we are very satisfied every time we order take out. We always order take-out... in fact, I think they only have take-out?... because it is so close by and easy to get to. Additionally, I'm sure they like it because it prompts the "impulse buy" of a few cans of pop or additional accoutrements. The staff is super friendly and get you in and out quickly. Which is good, because eating the delicious pizza is what you want to do! Did I mention the pizza is delicious? Because, it's delicious. We've tried a few other local spots and Gianorio's is our new favorite in the area. Whether you go regular crust or thin you won't be disappointed because they do a great job. We tend to like our crust (on the bottom) to be a bit more crispy, as Gianorio's is just a bit too soft for our taste, but that would be the only thing - and we have yet to remember to ask for it "well done" haha. As I said, this is our go-to pizza place and, at least for the near future, it appears it will remain as such for some time. read more
