the last time I ordered pizza from this place it's been too many times they've been making mistakes even I repeat my order this time I ordered a 28 inch half Hawaiian and half supreme I came to the store pick it up and they only made a 20 inch and charge me $40 when the 28 inch giant was 46+ tax and when I asked for it well done they always burn it on the bottom I mean it looks like they got too busy so quality of their customer service went down our new works young kids that do not pay attention. We ordered wings and one of the giant single slice pizzas. The reason for my 3 stars is that the chicken wings were dry and we expected them to be moist and juicy. We will pass on the chicken next time. The pizza however- was great! Thin crust that wasn't soggy. Had a nice crunch and great flavor. We got it with chicken, olives and mushrooms. I think next time I'll swap out chicken for pepperoni bc likewise, the chicken on the pizza was a bit dry. But definitely worth trying this place again. Another convenient lunch place close to my work in east Poway. They have giant slices at a great value (red sauce only). Any toppings. Quick and affordable. They also have great hot sandwiches that come with fries and salad for less money than a carne asada burrito at a taco shop. They even have burgers, though I haven't tried one yet. Stop by for lunch the other day and was not disappointed. This really is some GIANT pizza, and the best part is that you can order by the slice, anytime. The two "slices" I got definitely equal a small/medium sized pizza elsewhere. Didn't have to wait long either. Quick, friendly service. The pizza itself was good. Plenty of toppings and I think I already covered the portion size. Personally I think I might liked it a little more well done, but I'll have to go in again and update after that. Nice spot to grab lunch. I ordered the shrimp plate with fries and a salad. Your standard fair. Crunchy shrimp with some crispy fries. They could have added more lettuce to the salad. It was underwhelming. The meal did fill me up tho. Served with a large 4oz cocktail sauce and house dressing. Those were definitely enough for the meal. Nice clean and simple establishment. Ordered this pizza about a week ago for some friends coming over. We tried both the pizza and the wings. The wings were good and not super fatty or squishy like some pizza places I've been to. Everyone enjoyed the pizza. We got a pepperoni, cheese, and margarita. My favorite was the margarita pizza! We ordered this as a giant and usually we have leftovers, but this one was gone right away. As a NYer, I wanted to love this place. But it was honestly, practically inedible and quite gross. It doesn't even deserve 1 star, if I'm completely honest. - The dough for the pizza and the bread for sandwiches was not fully cooked/doughy weird. - The meatballs were not homemade and cold inside. - The chicken parm was made from frozen chicken too that was soggy and yucky. - Then to top it all off, the sauce is weird. I was shocked that this place has returned! It used to be at a different location and I was so upset that it closed down. I came here yesterday for lunch and was really excited since I remember I used to get this pizza all the time when I was in the area back in the days. Instead of getting a big full pizza, I got a giant slice, which was like the white pizza but had marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, mushroom, garlic, and spinach as toppings instead. It definitely was the pizza I had back when it was at the original location. I definitely recommend eating this pizza with their "pink" sauce aka their "special" salad dressing for dipping the pizza in if you like the nice unique taste! First and formal, I love this place. The workers here are super friendly and nice. Plus that they are right down the street from where I work at. We always order from them all the time for our pot luck. The pizza here are very good, the meat lovers is a must and we always order like 2 to 3 giant pizza from them and never had any issues. With this most recent Coronavirus lockdown, there really aren't too many restaurants where you can sit down outside to dine. Most restaurants are take out, so when you find a place that has outside seating and the food is outstanding, then you make sure you keep that restaurant permanently logged into your memory bank. After rallying for President Trump for almost 3 hours, my best friend, my nephew, and I were famished, so I searched for a local eatery specifically one that sold pizza. We decided on Giant New York Pizza hoping it would satisfy our hunger. And did it ever! Giant New York is located in the Poway/Scripps Ranch area. It can be reached by utilizing the 15 freeway, exiting off of Scripps Poway Parkway, and heading east. If you're familiar with where the Scripps Poway Costco is located, just drive past the street used to get to Costco, and make a left at the next light. Giant is located in the small strip mall where Carl's Jr., Subway, and other restaurant establishments are located. Giant is a small eatery and it's deceiving where you would sit down to eat their pizza. There is a covered outdoor sitting area comprised of plastic metal webbed square tables with attached seating. This seating area reminds me of a high school lunch area seating. The gentlemen behind the counter was patient, very friendly, and accommodating when it came to taking our order and satisfying our requests. The name of the restaurant should give you an idea that they serve giant pizzas. For our party of three, we decided to order the 20" pizza deciding on the specialty Supreme Pizza, which comes with a generous portion of pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushroom, black olives, red onions, bell pepper, and extra cheese. The three of us are not little pipsqueaks, but that 20" Supreme Pizza easily fed us and we had slices to take home for leftovers. The meat and vegetables were fresh and plentiful, the cheese was melted just right, and the star of that pizza was the crust. The crust was cooked perfectly and with each bite of the pizza, I kept thinking why has it taken me this long to experience Giant New Pizza. Each bite made me want to bite another piece of that pizza. It was that good! We probably had leftovers because we ordered two appetizers: 20-piece buffalo wings and sweet potato fries. I thought the wings were okay and the fries were tasty. Their pizza stands on its own. Before we devoured the food we ordered from Giant New York Pizza, we were hungry from the work we put in. After eating the huge slices of the Supreme Pizza, the buffalo wings, and the sweet potato fries, our hunger was satisfied like a Boss thanks to Giant New York Pizza. read more
