I was pretty excited to check out this place, I'm always down to try out a new pizza joint. I had to run some errands beforehand so I was hoping I could make it there before it closed at 8 pm. I got there a bit after 7 pm, I do want to say they were pretty busy. Place is tucked away to what seems to be an apartment or condo complex. It was pretty cute with seating outside and a little merry go round and train? The cashier was super friendly and chill, the yelp Elite crew got to choose 1 medium pizza and 1 drink. They have a pretty good selection of pizzas. I went with 1/2 Nicolosi's Double Deluxe-(minus salami & green peppers + anchovies) and 1/2 O' Blanco Sicilian- I put in my order and picked out a flavored craft soda. They told me and others that came in the wait would be at least 30 to 45 minutes. I ordered and went outside to sit in my car for a while. I went back in about 30 minutes later and my pizza was not ready. One pickup for a lady: 2 medium pizzas and salad, the guy before me looked like he got 3 large pizzas, person sitting down also ordered pizzas to go. It took about another 10 minutes to get my pizza while I waited inside. I could easily see it was only a 2 person operation and they were hustling. I noticed this place sold cannolis and pizza by the slice as well. Despite it being so busy, the cashier was still super friendly and calm. I have to say the pizza was well worth the wait. This pizza is my kind of pizza, pretty thick style, not greasy either. I enjoyed the blanco pieces more but I did love the anchovies on the other half. Would I order from this place again? (despite the distance and/or the wait) 100%, I think the best thing to do is to call for pick-up. I didn't care that much for the craft soda, but I do like that it's local and has pretty good ingredients. A pizza place replaced a failed Nutmeg here. Why might Nicolosi's do better? Well, because unlike the Nutmeg, they serve food! And within a community with lots of families, it's the perfect place for an easy pizza dinner. It seems to be related to the Nicolosi's Italian Restaurant in Santee. And they offer other items like salads and sandwiches. We got a medium Double Deluxe pizza and the Garlic Cheese Bread. Both satisfied our cravings. You could find fresher pizza in the area, but the convenience is a huge plus. It was a 25 minute wait for the pizza, so if you don't have the time you could order by the slice instead. All in all, Nicolosi's is a welcomed addition to the Casa Mira View community. Only time will tell if they survive! read more

I ordered Nicolosi's for delivery on a Friday night to try it for the first time. There was some confusion with what I had entered for my order and they were kind enough to call and confirm they got it right. The pizza arrived quickly after that and it was delicious! Everything! I ordered the Pepperoni Sausage slice and it was very tasty. The pizza was thick and you can taste the seasoning of the meats on the pizza. The service here is also great as Mike and Sam always take good care of me. In a good Friday or Saturday, you can catch some nice Italian music playing in the background which adds to the ambiance. Walking in I got greeted, the restaurant is very clean. I forgot his name but the gentleman that attended me was very polite and had excellent customer service. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, he explained what the cupping pepperoni was like so I went with that rather than the regular pepperoni. It was ready in a timely manner. The pizza once ready was extremely delicious! Wasn't too oily, perfect amount of sauce, and cheese not too doughy. They also have a gluten free option. They added I believe was spinach on top of the pizza, it was indeed a perfect touch! I know you might think "you can't go wrong with pizza". However this was better than your ordinary pizza place! The convenience of taking an elevator down to pick up some pizza is amazing! Casa Mira View deciding to put this here was a great choice! Their charbroiled chicken salad was so light and rich at the same time. The Tony's special pizza was yummy with the fresh basil hitting during every bite and I love the cupped little pepperonis hehe The pizza didn't take long and they offered free garlic cheese bread with my order with was SOOOOO GOOD! Avoid the single slices, especially the cheese pizza. It's not even a cheese pizza in my opinion. It was just solidified cheese on top of bread that reeked of garlic and grease. There wasn't even a tomato sauce. The place is mostly empty so it feels awkward to eat there. You're better off just walking to Smart and Final and buying a frozen personal pizza if you wanted something to eat. It's not worth the price at all read more

Service was horrible . I wanted pinapple toppings instead of Tomato and the Guy did not take the request . Even though previous 2 times , there was a lady who did take the same special request . Weird review below because they make the pizza in house and everything is fresh. This was one of the best pizzas I've had in San Diego. My son loved the pizza and said it was the best he's ever had. The wait is def long if you don't order by the slice and they should absolutely have an ingredient menu for people who has allergies. They did grab the box in the back to check but couldn't tell me about the cannoli filling. Excellent food though. Can't wait to go again! read more
