I suspect that this is due to a combination of a generous amount of what tastes like quality real cheese and a thicker crust that's a tiny bit sweet. We have been coming to this place for years ever since they opened their location next to CVS and we have never been disappointed! It is the BEST PIZZA EVER as it has the best ratio of crust, sauce, and toppings! It is not salty or oily and the flavors are balanced so well. The pizza itself is cooked to perfection and the edge crust is delicious and it is not super thick unlike most places! In my opinion, the people who left bad reviews are out of their minds! I have been a regular at this place for quite a long time and for some reason this is the first time I write a review. The place is located in a plaza where there is plenty of space, it is mostly to go but they have a few tables in case you want to eat here. Over the years they have kept a very good quality and the people attending are very nice and helpful. They always have specials which are printed in a single page and are located at the counter so check them out, there are always good deals. I always choose my toppings and my favorites are: - Pizza with ham and mushrooms. - Pepperoni pizza - Philly cheese steak sandwich. BTW they can make huge size pizzas too. read more

Pizza is ok but the workers here need to get it together. Last night they told me to come in 30 minutes but the pizzas weren't ready for another 20 minutes so I just had to wait around. The other people there were also told to come earlier than their pizzas were ready and were also standing around. This happened the other 2 times I ordered here so there's just a total lack of respect for people's time. Another thing that bothered me is I also forgot the name of the special with 3 large two topping pizzas and a salad for $30. So in the phone he said "we have a special for 3 large two topping pizzas for $36". I said ok, then when I picked them up noticed that's just three pizzas at normal price. We have been coming here for years! This is an asian owned pizzeria with authentic hospitality. The owner is always accommodating on service and pricing. Nothing like a franchise. The inside is quite small and only has 4 benches. Most of the clientele are "to go". Last night was dine in for the my family and I. This is our default pizzeria when we dont know what kiind of pasta we want. Their lasagna is off the hook, and their pizza are awesome out of the oven. This was the pizza that shaped my idea of what pizza was supposed to be growing up. Every birthday, celebration, or simple pizza craving, was fulfilled by Rosaria's. The giant pizzas were perfect for gatherings, and the cold pizza the next morning was my favorite as a kid. I still think about it, even though I've moved away and no longer live in Poway. As much as I wanted to like this place for being a small business, I believe there may have been a change in ownership that changed the quality described under the current reviews. Definitely the first Vietnamese owned pizza shop I have ever encountered. May very well be my last. We came here based on ratings and with a desire to try something new and local to our home. The website isn't listed on yelp but can be found at: www.rosariapizza.net. It doesn't list all the specials, but there are some decent deals if you are looking for quantity over quality (e.g. family special: 3 large 16" 2 topping pizzas with antipasto salad for $27 carry out). Pretty cheap overall (but still not as cheap as costco). We opted to try the supreme pizza (Rosaria's Works) to test the quality of pizza compared to other places we frequent.. We also ordered a side of garlic bread since folks commented on that side item. There was no special assigned to our order, so the total came out to a little under $30. The garlic bread was super disappointing. It's a good sized loaf that seemed relatively fresh (didn't appear to have been just baked). The problem was in the preparation with only butter and garlic powder. Although the bread seemed fresh and soft, it lacked flavor. They definitely needed to add some chopped garlic, or even more garlic powder and more butter. Thankfully we had a side of marinara sauce to couple with the bread (doesn't come with the order). Even so, we could not finish the bread as it was just filler. Explains the low cost. Would not recommend ordering the garlic bread. The supreme pizza carried similar issues due to the crust. The XL size was comparative to a standard costco pizza, but immensely lacked flavor. When you compare the pizza to (again to a costco pizza), it did not stand out in the amount toppings - average to mediocre at best - or the flavor. It was as standard of a pizza you could get but the squishy unflavored crust subtracted from the experience. Overall, the pizza wasn't bad. It was palatable. But it definitely wouldn't be a four or five rating. Sounds like the sandwiches may be worth trying but if you're a pizza joint that has not mastered a pizza.. it does not call for return business. We wanted to like you Rosaria - but we prefer Costco over you (it's not even that great of a pizza). Again, if you're hunting quantity - this place may work for you. Otherwise, if you're looking for a stellar pizza.. hunt elsewhere. 2.5 rounded down. read more

Great deals + Free delivery. It sounded like a good combination, and the food was surprisingly edible. I ordered the "feast for two," which includes a 12 inch pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, garlic bread, two salads, and two cans of soda. I added two toppings to the pizza, so the total was around $26 after tax. None of the food looked very pretty. This isn't a place that makes anything picture worthy. The pizza looked so bad that I didn't even try it. "Constant companion" said it was fine but he wouldn't get it again. The spaghetti came upside down with the sauce on the bottom, which was a bit odd. It tasted ok though. I even ate some of it left over. The lasagna also looked pretty weird, but CC ate it all. The salads, garlic bread, and drinks were a nice bonus. I probably wouldn't get pizza from here again, but I might order their spaghetti dinner for two ($14) sometime. The wings were advertised with ranch so I assumed they were buffalo wings, but we opened the double order and they had a dark brown sauce at the bottom that tasted kinda sweet, and kinda like soy. We called and asked about it, and they said it was BBQ wings. I would prefer a little Caesars Pizza and wings, honestly. Run by a local family that's super sweet. My husband and I normally get the feast for two and that lasts us a couple of meals. They let you add onto their cheese pizza and also mix and match if you prefer certain sides. The spaghetti isn't my favorite, but the lasagna is so good! They're always super accommodating and let you know about the current situation. The pizza is pretty solid as well. Their dough is on the thicker side, and they have yet to skimp out on the toppings which I appreciate! Delivery takes a bit since I think they only have a single driver, so if you're able to, I'd recommend driving in for a pickup. read more

Their wings are probably the best deal on the menu. The sauce is different than a typical hot wing. It tastes a little smoky and seasoned with black pepper. Give them a try.
