I went here a few months ago simply because apart from this one little strip mall, there's not much in the area. I was blown away by the service, quality, portions, and price. Definitely did not expect every aspect of quality to come together so perfectly in a random little pizza place in Poway. This place has delivered every single time I've been back - going on 5 times now - and I have pretty much made pizza society a weekly staple in my routine. I truly cannot speak highly enough about what this place is doing when it seems like every other option is giving you smaller portions with lower quality ingredients at a higher price. These guys at pizza society are the opposite of every crappy restaurant out there and are absolutely crushing it on a consistent basis. Absolute must try! read more

TBH, this is sub-mid pizza. The dough on my marg pie was really thin & undercooked. The underside was blonde, unevenly cooked & no char. Lots of flop on a slice... an unpleasant eating experience. Sauce was fine. There was a weird price thing: the menu behind the counter lists different prices per pie (normal). He rings me up, the screen says "meat lovers," I correct him & say I ordered a margherita pie, he said "all the prices are the same," then clears the meat lovers, adds marg, then manually adds a dollar or so to the marg pie price to make it the same ($28ish) as the meat lovers. That seemed super sketchy. I won't be back. read more

Wow! Decided to try this new pizza place in Poway. They have pizza by the slice with a deal. Two slices and drink for $10. I decided to order a 14" works pizza. I like that because i can have some leftovers tomorrow. They make it fresh and hot for you. They also have an amazing wall of hot sauces! So many to try! I loved the green Truff hot sauce on my pizza! Give this place 5 stars. They were a lot of fun and the pizza was hot, fresh and delicious! read more

Well... that was delicious! I just finished a slice of barbecue chicken pizza & a very fresh Greek salad. Was volunteering around the corner & pulled into this strip mall with numerous choice restaurants however leaning towards a salad which brought me in here. Oddly enough I go here for the sandwhiches. They make a solid ruben and italian classic. They really need to add a hot pastrami to their line up in my opinion. Only seating is a bar on the wall with stools. So primarily take out here. Service is a little slow and I've waited like 5 minutes for them to make a sandwhich. But it's a good sandwhich, so I come back. Last time I was there they didn't have the ingredients for a ruben, which tells me they need to manage their inventory better. read more

Upon walking in for the first time ever, we felt welcomed and at home. The nicest guys behind the counter were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The menu looked amazing and the prices were extremely reasonable. They were very encouraging and complementary to try anything and we tried a few new things we wouldn't normally get. Have to say, the food did not disappoint. We are very pleased and will definitely come back. Highly recommend train this place as something new. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of. The pizzas we ordered were: The Works, Meat Lovers, and Flippin Pie. All turned out delicious and they were very generous with the toppings. We also had a calzone. The food came out at a reasonable time. We decided to dine in after everything came out so we could try their impressive array of hot sauces. There are many complimentary sauces lined up against the wall for customers to try. The place looked clean and well maintained. This is the heaven of thin crust pizza. It's the perfect ratio, the dough is as good as it gets considering the price point. The sandwiches are super solid over here, especially the California chicken cheesesteak style. This is something that won't make you feel super heavy, it's light and full of flavor, but crispy and holds its crust very well. The owner Mike and Manager Morris really treat you like family! Anyways, I'll post up a couple of the pizzas. I've purchased here and hopefully that alone that shows what this place is. I'll always be ordering here. We found this place when it first opened by chance while I was pregnant. The vibes and the food made it my number 1 craving. Weekly we drove down the hill just to get pizza and a Philly cheesesteak. We are always met with a smile and great attitude. It reminds me of home. Now that I've had my son we visit and everyone is so nice and welcoming to him, and he loves eating the Philly cheesesteak with me. Really want to like this pizza. Sauce and cheese are on point. Have given two tries, both ordered well done, both times, the bottom undercooked, soft and floppy. This place is flippin awesome!! It's just what this corner of Poway needed- great quality food and very nice service. I got a calzone, they make it fresh to order so it was still piping hot by the time I got home. I can see why they pride themselves on the dough, it was PERFECTION. I also am so thrilled that this place has a variety of other menu items that just aren't pizza. They serve cold subs, salads, and pasta (which I'm sure I'll try all at some point).
