Scrolling through Yelp looking for pizza to be delivered after a long drive my husband found Pazzo's close to our hotel. I called and ordered a large cheese pizza for delivery. The pizza was delivered in 45 mins by such a nice guy. He was so polite. I asked about happy hour and he explained it was 3-6 M-F. Up in the room I opened the box and the pie looked good. I took a bite it was still hot! The flavor was amazing. The seasoning in the sauce was in point. You could taste the oregano and spices. The amount of sauce on the pizza was perfect. Fiancé took me here, said they were truly amazing, and they definitely are! Everything is made to order, it smells soo delicious when you just enter, you KNOW it's gonna be great! Tried it for the first time using GrubHub. I ordered a calzone (BYO) with pepperoni, sausage, jalapeño and spinach (for health reasons obviously). And buffalo wings. I REALLY enjoyed the calzone. The dough stood out the most to me. Soft, but not undercooked. I hate when I feel like I have to use a steak knife to cut through the ends. The portions of ingredients were fair. The buffalo wings were okay. I really liked that they tasted baked. But would've liked them a little saucier. WAY better ordering here than the fast food chains. Pazzos is a great little pizza spot in Scripps Ranch. I love to order their 20'' party size pizza for groups because it's pretty big and comes cut in a bunch of slices. They have great crust and sauce flavors and you can build a custom pizza which I love. I always come back to Pazzos whenever i'm craving a good pizza. Pazzos has fantastic pizza! We decided to try the lasagna. It is made with meat sauce that has sausage in it. Oops, I don't eat sausage. The manage was so nice. Ok so this pizza shop is located in the middle of the quiet suburbs of Scripps Ranch. Like I do not expect people to travel out of their way to go pick up pizza from here. Literally, surrounded by homes. But dude this pizza spot is pretty good! I would not waste money on some mainstream pizza spot when their prices are so competitive! A large specialty pizza $25 could easily feed 2-4 people. But a medium pizza I could've easily ate it all by myself but I needed to hold myself back. But I needed I remembered I needed to share. My friends and family decided to try this place Sunday afternoon. It was apparent that they were understaffed at the moment. And a bit stressed. Totally understandable for a mom n pop shop, and we were told right off the bat that it would be about 45 minutes as the kitchen was backed up. Phones were off the hook too. I felt so bad for the guy (I assume owner). We were in no rush whatsoever so it was no big deal. It took about 15 minutes before we could order, as an employee who was delivering got back. All that said, the food was great. And it did not take 45 minutes. We got a large works. Hubby was very happy and is a pizza snob. I got a personal white pizza. Crispy edges. Next time I'll ask for extra ricotta on top. The wings are DA'BOMB!. Really really good. Dry rub type, not slathered in wet sauce. Nice spice. Jalapeno poppers tasty (cream cheese). My friend had the pesto pizza and said it's the best she's ever had. Wish they had a soda fountain. Not a deal breaker. People seem to like to come in and enjoy the bar. Small indoor seating but was plenty for us. I think they do a LOT of take out! Turns out just as we got there, they were finishing up a huge order for a church event nearby. I'm on the hunt for an amazing thicker crust pizza in San Diego. So many places seem to have thin crust but Pazzo's photos looked like a thicker crust so I immediately added it to my list of places to check out. The crust was more to my liking but I wish that they offered a garlic white sauce as I'm just not big into red sauce on pizza. My chicken and black olive pizza was perfectly fine but it didn't have the extra oomph that I was looking for. My boyfriend ordered a calzone and we got a side of cheesy garlic bread, which could have been cooked just a little bit longer (I like a few brown spots to broil onto the cheese) but everything else was fine. If it weren't for Yelp, I never would have found this spot on my own. Even after driving there, I still don't think I'd find it again without my GPS. Service was good and we sat in the bar which wasn't crowded and gave us a nice spot to catch up on good conversation while we dined. There are other items on their menu I plan to try in the future. This place definitely needs a review as this is mostly an unknown gem for many in my circle. Absolutely love this place and it's a bummer that I did not try this even sooner. I am guessing this is a family run business and this place and thier food is so amazing. Tucked in a corner of the mall is a very cozy place to eat delicious pizzas and pastas. I came to know about this place only very recently and I have already been there four times as my family loves to eat here so much. Thier seating is very casual and super cozy to have a relaxed dinner. They serve with a smile and very friendly service. Now about food. - decent vegetarian options to choose from and they are ready to modify too what we ask. We love thier veggie pizza with pesto sauce and the spaghetti is loved by my kids. Great pizza! Been coming here since it opened. Great sauce and quality of ingredients. The problem is the portions on the larger pizzas. I get a personal pie and there's a great ratio of toppings, cheese, and crust. On the bigger pizzas it's like the opposite. I used to buy pizza slices in the early days. Your ranch is on point tho. This place is kinda tucked away in a neighborhood little mini strip mall, and would be perfect if I lived around the corner or something. Saw a handful of local fellas posted up at the bar sippin' some elbow benders, that's where I'd be.. Cool spot, I'll cruise back to check out some other menu items. Side note, Chix Parm sando was good, but I feel that you shouldn't chop chicken meat up, unless it's a chix cesar salad.. put the whole breast on the sandwich or maybe like two strips of the breast. The flavor profile just looses 2-3 points when it's chopped up like that. I'll cruise back in there next week and see what else is poppin on that menu. read more

SO YUM! We went here recently for Friday pick-up around 530PM. The staff is very very friendly ... there was an older gentleman talking the ear off of the younger guy working, and they seemed like old friends. The guy working was very patient and smiling while also looking in my direction occasionally (to see if I was going to order, I think, but I didn't want to interrupt). When the older gentleman left, he apologized for the wait and took my order. We ended up getting a calzone with pepperoni and a Scripps ranch chicken salad. Check out the pics! The food was delicious and hubs said the calzone is legit one of the best he's ever had. We waited in the car while the food was being prepared (~15 minutes). It was raining outside and the guy actually brought everything out to our car which was a really nice gesture. A few days later because we are piggies for pizza, we ordered a pepperoni pizza and another Scripps ranch chicken salad for delivery. Again another amazing meal. Being fairly new to town, I've been trying to find the "right" neighborhood pizza place, and this may be it. Super easy parking out front. Upon entering, it wasn't clear that there was a sit down option, but the nice guy at the register gave us the low-down. Good prices on drinks. IPA was $6 and a bottle of Chianti was only $18...literally and figuratively refreshing! $6.99 Eggplant Parm appetizer is made to order and took a while. It didn't really seem breaded and was a bit crunchy, so the wife didn't like it. Medium two topping pizza ($15.03) had a nice thin crust and was fine for the two of us. Meatballs were crips chunks rather than slices. High quality pizza. Pleasant, professional service. Dining room is small with lots of hard surfaces. As a result, it got bit loud with the lively crowd on a Friday night. A good complement for me to Mama Cella's up in RB, which also has pizza, but seems more pasta-focused than Pazzo. read more
