Bought a giant mega-roni on my way to visiting a friend since i couldn't find any other pizza place on my way. It's a small location in a plaza but it's easily found and it really does have that New York feel to it because of it. The pizza was large (and wow those prices are pretty large too if you ask me). It was supposed to be double portions of pepperoni which thankfully they stuck to. Portions were great and it tasted good but it didn't taste great. Ordered garlic rolls and they were a bit firm and it felt like they were just plain bread rolls with some sprinkled on seasoning, something basic I could have done in half a minute in my own kitchen. Was having a hankering for mozzarella sticks and spaghetti/meatballs and haphazardly stumbled across this place cross referencing yelp and google maps. Glad I did! Super close to home, tucked away in the shopping plaza on Taft with the Publix and Flippers movie theatre (closer to the latter). Placed a to-go order, was ready when promised. They also do delivery. Food wise the mozzarella sticks were awesome, with a light dusting of grated Parmesan and parsley on top, accompanied by a delicious marinara. It reminded me of Big Louie's which I love, but this place is much closer. The spaghetti/sauce was meh... There were three big meatballs with it that appeared to be homemade and were quite tasty, so it kind of made up for the lackluster and underseasoned pasta. Also came with 4 garlic knots, probably my favorite part of the meal. Perfectly baked, not burned at all, with just the right amount of fresh garlic and oil/butter. This is primarily a small take out place, there's a few tables inside and out but it's not really meant for a dine in ambiance. The best part about this place is the value you get for the pizza. $12.95 for a 20" cheese pizza is pretty damn good. Although they do Sicilian pizza too, they're prized for their thin NY style pizzas. I got the 20" Brooklyn Special (pepperoni, sliced sausage, bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, black olives) for $20.95. It was a little bit too greasy and I had to do a tri-fold because the toppings were too heavy for the slice. I don't live in the area but it's well worth the value. I'd stick with a plain cheese pie to start then work my way up. read more

My husband and I where looking for a pizza place over the weekend because we were tired of the pizza hut and domino's. We came across Giant Pizza and decided we would try it. I am so glad we did, the pizza was great. I love the fact that they have really large pizzas because we have a big family. Their Sicilian fries were good too. This was my very first visit to this place and was truly delighted with their Hawaiian pizza, medium (20", 12 slices). Ordered at the counter & took only 15-20 minutes for it to be ready just as the employee said; total was $15.85. Via a coworker's referral, my wife & I dropped by here after church service. She isn't a pizza fan, but did partake of a slice & loved the crust; I ate three slices & enjoyed every crunch. We're in Miami-Dade & the only other pizza joint with which I'm familiar that's comparable to this one is Casola's. I'm a finicky eater, so I usually stick with the traditional pies; I don't get crazy with the different toppings. Giant Pizza should expand to my part of town, if not at least to North Miami Beach or close by to FIU at Biscayne Bay. If they could get close enough to a neighborhood like those, then they would rake in moolah. Hope to return soon. read more

Hands down the best pizza you will ever have! The staff is great I am a regular...I live a few blocks away so every time I go in they know exactly what I want. They are great! Always check your order when you leave from there, I ordered take out and they said the wait time was 15 minutes and it was over 35 minutes... I ordered a pepperoni pizza and thry charged me extra for it (obviously I ordered an extra topping) once we get home we we saw they gave us a cheese pizza and it was super cold. We order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes .We when to pick it up and ended up waiting 30 minutes longer than they told us. We finally made it home and we didn't have our complete order .I called and they were going to send it out with the delivery guy. I've been to Giant Pizza many time over the past few years but the pizza I got on Memorial day was the worse. I got very sick. I called to let them know and the Manager was worse than the pizza. No people skills, never apologized for a new pizza maker, ask me What do you want me to do about it? and when I said I thought he would want to know, I guess I was wrong. I wont go back. This is my second time at the Giant Pizza. The people are friendly and the chef takes great pride in his pizza. The first time we tried the Chicken Parmesan pizza which was very good. Today we tried the family deal. Giant Cheese Pizza with a side of barbecue boneless wings and a 2 liter soda. I didn't need the soda, but hey *shrugs*, it's a deal. The food was ready in the 20 minutes they quoted. We suffered the amazing smell the entire drive home and managed not to open up the wings and eat them in the car. We cut up the wings and put it on the pizza. The wings were delicious. Very nice tangy barbecue sauce. The pizza is a great deal for a family. Very tasty pizza. My only complaint at this point is that for some reason their pizza cools down very quickly. It is still delicious. No pictures because it's all gone. Borrom line, Great food for a good price. The name says it all. The pizza truly is gigantic and very flavorful. Ordered pick up for my Super Bowl party. I had a 24" Super Hawaiian Deluxe Pizza. The pizza itself was delicious and well...HUGE! It was 16 slices. Only issue i had was that some of the slices were quite thin and so was the crust. I understand it's hard to maintain a thick crust for such a large Pizza but it's doable. I also ordered the beef Philly Stromboli and a dozen Garlic Rolls. The Stromboli was delicious and well stuffed, not overstuffed no spilling of the meat when you take a bite, well made. The garlic rolls were a bit chewy but very delicious. They were gone as soon as they were set on the table. Overall great place with great service. I give it 4.5/5 stars. The size of the pizza was great but the thin slices left a bit to be desired. I will return for sure and probably make this place my go to for all my sporting event meal needs. Pizza Giant's Sicilian pizza is amazing! We order at least once per week and they do not charge delivery. You simply tip the driver fairly. I have also had the garlic bread, boneless chicken wings and calzone. They are all good but my favorite remains the Sicilian pizza. read more

Let me start by saying, if your like me and never cook, and expect bang for your buck giant pizza is the place for you. A 20' cheese pie is $12.50 a 24" pie is $16.50 you get the picture. The pizza is also tasty. The bottom line here is you never feel like you wasted your hard earned money when you get a pizza from giant pizza. I suggest you get to go, because its a very small place, and you might feel crowded if you decide to eat there with friends. They do have about 5 tables if you want to sit down. I've always had their pizza's because someone else would order and pick up. It's a decent price for such a big pie but the reason they get such a bad rating is their service. They are the worst! I was driving when I decided to place an order for pickup. I called, was picked up on and told "please hold" then hung up on. I tried 5 times in a row before the line freed up again and the person on the other end attempted to take my order. Apparently can I get a large pepperoni & cheese sounds a lot like "half pepperoni and cheese" and "pepperoni & extra cheese". I had to repeat myself 3 times before the girl on the other end figured it out. I was told 20-25mins before the order was ready. I stepped into the place 10mins after placing the order. What I saw was a bunch of people behind the counter horsing around without a care in the world while orders piled up. My 20-25 min wait was closer to 45mins and they probably started my order once I stepped in. They saw me there waiting with two small girls FOREVER after I paid, and no one had the decency to ask or find out if my order was almost done. It wasn't until I made one of them find out what the hell was going on that they said "6 more minutes" which i guess meant "15 more minutes". I probably won't be going back anytime soon. Lately I have been having this love-hate relationship with pizza. I love pizza for sure, but hate the mediocrity that I have been experiencing as of late. I ordered a cheese pizza for my 1 year old and grandma because we were going out for the evening and what kid doesn't love pizza? Delivery arrived much quicker than expected, there was no additional delivery charge (instead I gave my driver a heftier tip) and their delivery area is pretty large, thus very accommodating and another reason for the extra tip. Since the pizza arrived before I left I decided to try half a slice and MAN was I surprised! It was good, thin, reminiscent of NY style, a good sauce to cheese ratio, thin slices and had a great flavor. I am actually going to order pizza from them in the next couple of weeks for my son's birthday. Thank you Giant Pizza you are now my go-to pizza place!! (I gave 4 stars because I did not visit the establishment or try anything else on the menu. I will update my review accordingly after our next order as there will be more food and I will pick up/visit establishment.) read more

Very disappointing. This restaurant gets 1 star from me. I just ordered from this restaurant and when I received it, I truly regretted every second of even considering them in the first place. The girl that answered the phone was rude and had no customer service skills. The man that delivered my food, Sam, called me from his cellphone, and instead of introducing himself the proper way, so he can confirm my address, he just creeped me out. He sounded like someone who was trying to fake an accent. He told me he was calling from Giant Pizza and after saying my address, he then told me he needed a password. I said a password for what? He told me to hold on and then hung up on me. I called him back but, that was such a waste of time. He didn't make me feel any better. He then appears at my door and the only reason I opened it, was because I called the actual business, and the girl told me his name. When I asked him his name, he was able to confirm it. Lol. My paranoid self thought he had hacked into my debit card and gotten all my information, that's how worried he got me. When I finally received my food, after almost an hour, that's when I really became upset. My slice of pizza was cold and greasy. Their calzone, I don't even know what that was. I'm from New York, and that was not a calzone. The calzone I received, was filled with lots of cheese, too much for me to bare, and very little sausages. The 5 piece chicken was drenched in hot sauce, when I specifically asked for it to not be spicy, and their chicken was puny, and barely had any meat on it. After dealing with all that, I was so upset, that after spending $18 and giving the creepy guy a nice tip, this was the kind of service I would receive. I couldn't believe it. I was outraged. I was so outraged that I decided to call them to complain. Now maybe I shouldn't have cursed, and I apologize about that, but if you received the food I did, you would too. When I called, a girl picked up, I started my complaint but as soon as I said the word fuck, there went anything else I had to say. She hung up on me and didn't care to hear my complaint. I called back because I wasn't going to just let that go, and spoke to the manager, who was nicer and more understanding. He not only apologized for the service I had received, but said he would send me a rebate so I can get something for free. Although I truly appreciate that, after this horrific experience, unfortunately Giant Pizza has lost me as a customer. I would never order from there again. At this point, all I want is my $18 back, so I could order from Dominos. Lol. The sad thing about this all, is I use to really enjoy what they are known for, their giant pizza, and unfortunately since I was still hungry, I had to settle for a can of chef boyardee beefaroni, which tasted a lot better than the food I received tonight. I'd definitely recommend that people thinking about ordering from there, think twice about it. Their customer service is horrible, and their food is disgusting.
