What is going on here! They have a special brunch for New Year Day from 11 AM to 2 PM! No Pad Tai, Pho, Ramen, Miso Glazed Sea Bass, Szechuan chicken wings or Thai Drunken Noodle. Instead, they serve Crab Cake Benny, Steak and Eggs, Biscuit and Gravy, Omelets and other breakfast items with Mimosa and other items. We have the Crab Cakes Benny and Steak and Fries. The egg benedict on crab cakes were fine. The steak and Fries with two sunny side up eggs were fine as well but the steak grilled well to my preferred temperature, medium rare. However, the steak was on the petite side (May be 4 Oz!) Rejuvenated with a Peach Schnapps drink and some Orange Juice, we continue our fun with the machines. The meat in the ramen was fork-tender and full of umami; the ramen was chewy; and it was served with a wide variety of fresh vegetables (zucchin, broccoli, carrot, onions, green onions, corn, microgreens, pickled ginger). The ramen was ~5oz. PS: the noodles are salty -- ramens are meant to be salty. Service was awesome. Several things that my server impressed me: 1. He asked me about my food allergies -- important for seafood-dense restaurants like a Japanese restaurant. 2. I asked for some extra ramen when I just got the entree. He suggested to bring me the extra when I almost finish the ramen in my entree. Surprisingly, he brought a small bowl of ramen exactly when I was about to finish it -- very precise and customer-oriented. 3. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. 4. Upon entering, we realized how snug this place was. We were seated promptly and presented the menu. My wife ordered the Chicken Veggie Shoyu Soy Ginger and I had the Chashu Belly Garlic Noodle. We both liked our dishes, with complex, bold flavors. The Chashu belly was tender with sweetness and soy flavor shining thru. Its flavor profile reminded me of Pad Thai. A very nice find in Naples!
