Don't get me started on this mistake of a hire. We ended up having to fire GIC as our painters. Israel did our initial site walkthrough and he impressed us at first, telling us what they could or couldn't do and making promises that they ultimately were not able to keep. George handled the initial invoicing and was the one working on the project with only one other person because Israel left for Mexico for 2 weeks when our project started. We were originally promised a team of 3, and I don't believe that happened. We were promised a project completion time of 4-5 days. Our project consisted of painting an office, 3 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom, all door trims and baseboards in the home, and repairing an exterior wall that had been cut out to install a dog door from the previous homeowner, along with minor stucco repair on the outside. The initial first 4 days went fine and they seemed to get a lot of work done. When we came back to the house to check on the progress on the 5th day, the project was not complete. The dog door was not touched, none of the stucco had been repaired, and the office was not even halfway done. We had cabinets that were removed from the office space and the walls needed to be repaired, retextured, and repainted. They had painted around the damaged area and got nowhere near to repairing the walls yet. They did not ask for an extension on project time nor give us any progress reports. When we went over all the unfinished work with them, they were slow to respond, promised a date in which they would continue the finished work, and then proceeded to no-show on that day. For the next 2 weeks, they showed up maybe only 1-2 more times and did not complete any of the previously discussed work, never asked for an extension or gave a reason as to the delay, and never finished by any of the new dates they gave us. We had to consistently press them for new completion dates or we probably would've never heard anything back. We had other projects lined up that were waiting on them to finish, so we ended up firing them. Even that process was a hassle since they could not meet the given deadline to provide a final itemized invoice, ended up initially giving us an invoice that was not what we asked for, and we ended up doing the calculations ourselves. After reviewing the work they had "completed", we even found that it was not done to our satisfaction. They did not mask the floors in the office and we had to take the time to clean off our floorboards ourselves, as well as overflowing paint puddles in the tiles in the rest of the house. The baseboards that were on top of carpet had individual carpet strands dried onto them and needed to be completely repainted because paint peeled off of them when we removed the carpet to install LVP. We even found baseboards that were skipped over (whether accidental or on purpose, we don't know) but we felt that was a bit fraudulent. Overall, I would warn people to stay away. They had seemed promising at first but failed in all aspects to deliver satisfactory work. We provided pictures of the unfinished and shoddy work left behind. read more

I had my condo painted by George and his team in Jan 2022... i payed around 5k for a horrible unprofessional job. they did not remove the shelving and i had a lot of shelves that now have the old paint left underneath, they were messy, took forever, painted my white dresser black which now is chipping n you can see all the white. the two people he had paint my condo were so unprofessional. He told me he fired them and would compensate me 500$ back. It's now almost the end of the year and he blocked my number from the last 250$ he owed me. Don't trust this business, or George. He obviously doesn't care about a reputation, i don't like dishonest people and didn't want to post this but since he blocked me i feel very betrayed by this company. read more

They painted 4 rooms in my home for 2800.00 Did it in one day, but after they left I noticed that there were several spots that had issues. They said they put on two coats, but there was some writing (light pen marks to label colors) on the wall from where we tested out paint colors. and We could still see the writing after they painted. There were also bits of some thing in the kitchen paint that were stuck onto the wall. They also missed an area in the kitchen. I contacted them by text several times over a three week period and asked them to come fix it. George kept promising to come out and fix it, he told me he would come on a Monday and never showed up, and did not call or text me. So I waited all day for nothing. He then continued to tell me he would come to fix it but never showed up. Lesson learned never pay for a service until everything is done to your satisfaction. Would not recommend. George and the crew did a great job painting the exterior of my house. They pressure washed the entire house first, patched and repaired the stucco and trim, and taped and covered even the concrete around the house to ensure no overspray. They helped with choosing the colors and even came out multiple times to be sure everything was right. They even painted my shed to match the house. All for one very reasonable price.
