I was in search for my go to barber and stumbled across this shop via Yelp. Went in as a walk in; now I highly recommend setting an appointment before your visit for a smoother experience as this shop has many talented barbers and it is constantly packed. My barber is Adolfo, he took me in and knew exactly what I wanted. Adolfo does not rush through your haircut, and truly cares for a great final product during his process. Since my first visit, I was amazed by his skills and enthusiasm towards his client's needs. I couldn't believe I had found my go to barber so quickly! When I decided to change my normal haircut, he quickly adapted to the new one I wanted to go with and even recommended how to maintain it in a healthy manner so it can grow out nicely. As someone who wanted to try something new, this was the place to do so because the barbers here are experienced and know what they are doing. MY GO TO SPOT! Took me a while to write this because I contemplated if letting the secret out was a good idea. It's getting harder and harder to book appointments as they book up days in advance at times. But alas, I am a loyal customer and just had to show my appreciation for what they do!! Ever had a bad cut? We have all been there right? THAT DOESNT HAPPEN HERE! That's what I love about Gifted Barbers because I always leave with what I want! They are SUPER consistent and always deliver. Been to many barbershops in the area and no one has been as consistent as Ish and his team! They really pay attention to detail here and I have noticed once my cut is done they do a once over to check for touch ups. Not many shops out there that do that. This rating is for my first experience at Gifted Barbers Studio about a month ago ( headed there today). I already have a barber I see regularly, but found Ish as I was looking for a second barber to cut my hair/ beard line-up while my barber was out of town. Ish did an excellent job following my original cut and tried his best to replicate my barbers cut as best as he could. I really appreciate that he listens to his clients preference and strives to achieve the style they are looking for. My mid fade was fresh and my beard was lined-up perfectly! Came in yesterday for a haircut. The person cutting my hair was late due to traffic so I had to wait a good 25 minutes before someone else could take me. Granted the owner helped out in this situation and was apologetic but even after I was taken by another barber, the quality was pretty bad. I told the barber I don't use product and to remove all the waves and curls. By the time he completed my cut I realized he really didn't listen to any of my requests. Used hairspray to create some weird look, even after I requested not to use product. I now have a new part in my hair he somehow created. Left all the front curls and waves even after I requested to have it corrected. Getting it fixed elsewhere today. read more
