I love the unique black & white photos decorating the walls. The photos are of famous people, but with tattoos. I've never seen these types of photos. Seriously, Barbara Streisand with ink?...Pretty awesome!!! Kudos to the imagination that came up with the idea of using of these photos. Ahhhh...but the food. The entire menu is a creative mix of traditional food turned into a slightly new version. For example, yes, they have hot dogs...but, the "normal", simplest version of their hot dog is: 1/4 lb all beef hot dogs are bacon wrapped and deep fried How can you go wrong with this? The entire menu is really clever. I even liked their "Willy Dynamite" Mac & Cheese...and I am not a Mac & Cheese fanatic. This is what I had: Harlem Sunset: Highly recommended. Delicious. Signature Popcorn with Truffle and Citrus: Addicting. Great with drinks. Large portion. My popcorn was not salted, which would normally be disappointing. But, there was so much flavor, that it does not really need any. The occasional pop of citrus is a nice surprise. I am so lucky that Dave (my husband) is not too keen about popcorn. The Willy Dynamite: Yummy!! Large Portion. Your tastebuds do the "Happy Dance" when tasting the BBQ sauce, gouda cheese, pasta, and the butcher block bacon...then, you find the moist pulled chicken that's been hiding under all of the macaroni. Staying in Palm Harbor and I googled top restaurants in the area. Although Safety Harbor was a 20 minute ride this restaurant did not disappoint. Safety Harbor downtown is very quaint especially during Christmas. Gigglewaters was a neat place, super friendly staff, especially our waiter Gabe. He recommended the Old Fashioned Bourbon drink 'smoked' which was delicious and the Mojito drink which was also delicious. We skipped the appetizers and again went with his recommendations for our entree. My husband had The Hendry burger and stayed it's one of the. Eat burgers he's ever had. I has The Brave Sir chicken, i skipped the bun, it was delicious. Any of their meals which include the bacon is . For dessert Gabe recommended the bourbon fried pound cake which was to die for. Pretty trendy "speakeasy" vibe to Gigglewaters. It has a room attached where they show cult classic films in which is pretty neat. It was definitely packed when we got there so we waited about an hour at a nearby bar until we actually got into the place. We were seated in the back, and behind me we the swinging door of the kitchen. Kinda bothered me but oh well, at least we secured a table. We had a trainee serving us with the trainer was overseeing him. He did great, even though it was a lot of stress with him serving four people are at table. The food was pretty good. The drinks were good but nothing to write home about. While eating, we saw the movie room empty out and people filed out one by one through the crowded dining area to get outside. We figured it would be busy so we waited until a little later. We were told an hour wait. Fine it's third Friday. While waiting we looked around and saw 7 tables open. And yet they were on a wait. Which could mean you're short handed. Why wouldn't you staff up for third Friday. We walked out front to grab a drink at their stand on the street. Waited around a long time.....still waiting 6days late for you to call me and tell me my table is ready. Needless to say we ate elsewhere as you obviously didn't care for our business. Our experience was disappointing due to service. We went for brunch on a Sunday morning and it seemed as if there were just as many staff members as customers. We waited for over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. We eventually waved someone down so that they would help us. Later on another couple left from sitting at the bar due to lack of service. The French toast looked average. The tater tot casserole was actually above average. The tater tots were perfectly crispy. I also ordered a pearl sugar waffle. I must say it is one of the best waffles I have ever tasted but it was about the size of my palm. Definitely not worth 5 dollars for something that small. I had an exceedingly pleasant time here. I was really craving a burger and in my search, I came across this place. Their menu says they were voted tampa bays best burger too! I ordered the 1919 burger with truffle fries with Sriracha ranch and a gin cocktail whose name I have forgotten (perhaps too much gin was had!) Everything was excellent. They cook the burgers to medium by default and I forgot to specify that I prefer medium rare, so it did come a bit drier than I personally prefer, but this was my own fault. Otherwise the flavors were amazing, the truffle fries were crispy and done to perfection. The Sriracha ranch was a little bit spicy, tangy, and creamy. But honestly, the star of the show was the cocktail. One of the best I've had in recent memory. I hate the taste of alcohol, yet I felt like the bitter flavors complimented the fruity guava flavors perfectly. It was delicious without being too sweet. I highly recommend ! read more

This place is just so charming. A friend and I bellied up to the bar for some fun cocktails. Gigglewaters did not disappoint. The bartender was attentive, friendly and knowledgable. The other staff we encountered were as well. The menu looks fantastic. We only tried the truffle popcorn which was way too salty for us, but I would be open to returning and trying many other items. Okay, so went on third Friday this month; this is when Safety Harbor has their downtown monthly music festival. For the record, it was very busy. Ordered a burger but waitress failed to ask how I would like it cooked and I forgot to speak up! End result.... overdone bland burger - no flavor whatsoever. Ordered the vegetable "side" to go with it; basically a broccoli salad that was saturated in mayonnaise; in fact, thats all you could taste.... mayonnaise. First time trying this place and it didn't disappoint. Went on a Monday night so it wasn't very busy. Staff was great very attentive and the food/apps came out quick. Got the soft pretzels with dipping sauces as an app they were fantastic. My fiancé and I both got burgers and they definitely lived up to the hype, one to the best burgers I've ever had. Restaurant itself reminding me of a speakeasy. Romantic enough for a date night but could definitely take a family or group of friends as well. I was on the hunt for a fun brunch spot for a couple girlfriends and I on a Sunday morning, and I found this on Yelp. The website isn't great, but photos on here look great so we decided to give it a whirl - SO glad we did! It is precious! Brunch is from 10 am - 2 pm, and entree is $15 and includes a cocktail from a shortened list. Or endless mimosas for an hour for $10. (Wut?!!!) There wasn't a wait when we got there at 10:40, lots of tables plus seats at the bar. Plenty of street parking available. I ordered The Pedro with a Bloody Mary (mix is made in-house -- so yum.) This place has a very themed atmosphere and decor. That's not really my thing but also not the reason for my 3 star review. I'll go over the good first. I ordered the Steak Frites with my steak medium rare. The meal comes with fries and a side salad. My steak was cooked medium rare and tasted great. The fries were good and on par for this type of restaurant. Two things swayed my review to 3 stars. The first was the side salad. The pretzel croutons could have been amazing but they weren't. Infact I wasn't sure if they were even suppose to be croutons or if they were going for the chewy stale pretzel slices angle. The salad was also served on a plate so small it made it extremely difficult to eat without making a huge mess. On the bright side I liked the blue cheese dressing. The second issue was the bathroom. The trash was about to overflow and the toilet was absolutely disgusting. Seriously someone needs to scrub the toilet there. It was something I would expect to find at a highway truck stop not a small restaurant in Safety Harbor. I'm a firm believer that a clean front of house reflects a clean back of house. The food was good but a bit salty for my taste and slightly expensive, but that seems to come with the area. And eclectic watering hole, you feel like you are stepping back into the 1920s. The bar/restaurant has a slight aroma of smoky wood chips that they use to smoke they're old-fashioned drinks as shown in the picture. My wife and I we're told the night before that we should be able to arrive and get a five dollar movie ticket for the movie showing on Saturday night but they were sold out hours before. We will definitely be back and try to get tickets in advance. One of the guys that was working the theater told us that they are trying to get 3-D movies coming soon. We came here on Christmas Eve to meet up with friends while staying in the area for the holidays. The vibe is definitely as speakeasy as you can get, from the decor to the drink menu. They have black and white celebrity photos with tattoos photo-shopped on and a 1920's style wallpaper and ceiling. They were near empty when we came, but I think that's because it was early afternoon on a weekday before a major holiday. I had a bourbon drink, old fashioned style and with port wine. I enjoyed it. For an entree I had the chicken and waffles, and I must say, for a bar, their food was awesome. I should add that the bar tender and wait staff were very helpful and friendly. Also, they mentioned having movie nights. They show old classics for $5. They also have happy hour and weekend brunch. 100% recommend if you're into speakeasy, and even if not.
