They have these wonderful Eastern European pastries, and I have a serious weakness for their strawberry vatrushka. I'm not exaggerating when I say I think about it at night. It has the same effect on me as a really good scone with clotted cream, I have absolutely no self-control around it. I also love that I can walk in intending to get one thing and somehow leave with a bag full of things I didn't plan on buying. Fresh-baked bread, Obviously. A little dessert, Sure. Some fruit or vegetables, Why not. Snacks, drinks, charcuterie items? Suddenly I'm grocery shopping.whoops. The people are a huge part of why we keep coming back. The owner and everyone who works here are incredibly kind, and there's a genuine warmth to the place that makes it feel like one of those neighborhood spots you want to see stick around. Our favorite part of our little Sunday routine is then going to get coffee next door.
