    Pepperoni slice (perfectly crispy)

I love their lunch specials! Two slices of pepperoni pizza, a soda, and a salad for under $10. Slices are large,so I'm full off of one slice and I save the other for later. Workers are nice and work hard in that small kitchen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of tables outdoors and parking in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Overall, I had a great experience. The wait was a bit longer than expected at about 26 minutes, but it was worth it. The pizza was still piping hot when I got home, which is always a big plus. The sauce was pretty standard--nothing particularly standout--but the toppings were excellent. It was colorful, fresh-looking, and exactly what I'd hope for from a supreme pizza. The crust was really good too, with just a slight flop, which is understandable given how loaded it was. Definitely a solid pizza overall. As a local in the Gardena/Hawthorne area this is a must try pizza spot.

Gigi's Pizza is a weekend go-to in our house. If you're in the Gardena area, definitely check out this local spot. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. Besides pizza, they've got salads, wings, and torpedoes (sandwiches). Whether you're grabbing a full pie or just a slice, it's always a good choice.

One thing about Gigi's Pizza it always hits! The pizza is always fresh and delicious. Everybody that works is nice & friendly.

It's been a long time since I came to Gigi's. It will always be Bonello's to me. Got a craving for a Sicilian style pizza and it definitely hit the spot. Nice and crispy crunch with also the right amount of chewiness. It's hard to find a good Sicilian style in the South Bay and I've looked and tried almost everywhere. Thanks Sylvester for doing a great job all these years!

I recently visited Gigi's Pizza (Formerly Benello's) on Crenshaw Blvd across from El Camino College. Although I grew up in the area, I rarely stopped in there. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. It had good meats...adequate amount of cheese and sauce and although we ordered to go the Pizza was plenty hot when we arrived back at my shop to eat! It was really quite good and I know for sure we'll be back.

The saddest meatball sandwich I've ever seen.

Saddest meatball sandwich. Barely enough meatball to cover half this bread... Pepperoni pizza on the other hand was fantastic.

Sicilian Thick Crust Pizza with sausage.

The Sicilian Thick Crust pizza here is amazing. I ordered it with sausage. My family thought it tasted great too. The crust had a nice favor and crunch to it sauce and cheese tasted great too. I usually order the thin crust NY pizza but I really liked the thick crust even better. This place has the best pizza and workers are always so nice!

They let me down again. I called in an order for 1large eggplant sandwich, 1 large Italian Hero, 1slice of mushroom pizza, and 1 antipasto salad. My wife went to pick it up and asked me why it was so expensive. They told her I had ordered extra meat when I never did. I called to ask what the deal was and they did apologized and said they would refund the $4 charge for the extra meat but it's just annoying having to do this in the first place. It just doesn't motivate me to purchase food there as much as I used to never knowing what's going to happen next.

The best NY Style pizza around. Thin crust, flavorful sauce, just enough mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. For less than $22!

I wouldn't say the food totally delivered but the service and the hawaiian spirit lives on here. We came on a Sunday and they had a live duo here. It was nice, would do it again soon. One thing we wished we had done was pay in advance for the malasadas. Apparently we didn't and the line grew longer during lunch. So we will have to try the pizza and the malasadas another weekend. They have breakfast all day long so I definitely will partake in some of that the next time we're here. Parking is a little bit of a pain but parking at Rascals was okay since they closed.

I was looking for chicken teriyaki like they have at Island Rootz. The girl recommended a chicken dish that was "similar", but with dark meat. Again I was disappointed because when I got home, it was FRIED! I don't eat fried chicken (try to stay away from fried foods in general). Telling me it was similar, I didn't bother to ask so partially my bad. I'm sure all the food is tasty, including the pizza, but I now know to ask about menus and specific items instead of trusting someone's suggestions completely. Posting so others are aware the menu here is not similar to Island Rootz and Auntie Maile's (both places I LOVE!!).

For our first visit, my daughter suggested the Tandoori Tikka Pizza (Tandoori Chicken). We also ordered the Halal Chicken Wings, Garlic Naan, and a small salad. Right away, the smell when you walk in is incredible, and the staff greets you immediately, which made a great first impression. Now for the food -- the pizza was delicious with the perfect amount of toppings. The sweet and tangy BBQ sauce really brought everything together. I personally would've liked a little more cheese, but the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice chewy texture. The wings were another standout that both my wife and I really enjoyed. Slightly crispy on the outside while still delicate and moist inside, with a mild heat from the spices that wasn't overpowering. The naan was decent with a good garlic flavor, although it was a bit thin for my preference. The salad was fresh and delicious -- we always appreciate having plenty of vegetables with our meals. Overall, definitely recommend checking them out. Next time we're planning to try the Butter Chicken Pizza.

First time customers deserve better:…read more My husband and I visited for the first time recently. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and our server invited us to choose any table. She immediately brought over two bottles of water and asked if it was our first visit. We said yes. She went over the menu in some detail. She did not ask if we wanted a drink, nor did she mention that the bottled water she had already placed on our table would be added to the bill. We ordered the lamb tikka pizza and the bhindi masala. The food was decent, but not remarkable. Portions felt a bit light for the price. The pizza crust was more like a crunchy pita, and the toppings were sparse. The okra was decent. Overall, I'd give the food 3 stars. The reason for my 1-star review is the way the restaurant handles water. We were automatically given bottled water before we had even looked at the menu, and at no point were we told there would be a charge. When the bill arrived, we discovered we'd been charged $1.50 for each 12-ounce plastic bottle. We had three, for a total of $4.50. This isn't about the money. It's about transparency. In most restaurants, water is provided as a courtesy, so presenting bottled water immediately to first-time customers without mentioning a charge feels misleading. If bottled water is the only water option available, that should be clearly communicated upfront. To make matters worse, there's a prominent sign stating that outside beverages are not allowed, which presumably includes bringing your own water bottle. After paying our bill and leaving a 20% tip, we suggested that first-time customers be informed about the water charge when they're seated. The response was a shrug and, "It's in the menu." Maybe it is. But if you're going to place bottled water on the table before customers have even opened the menu, the courteous thing to do is mention that it isn't complimentary. A simple heads-up would have avoided the entire issue.

But I did enjoy the italian sausage and basil. Still so glad I got to try it. I heard many people say that the black onion was sweet, but personally, It didn't taste sweet to me. The sauce was quite overbearing. The comments were right about one thing: it was very tangy. However, the good news is that my family loved it. If the family loves it, then it really has the potential. We loved the ambiance! The restaurant is very clean, seriously spotless. Based on our experiance, we also found the restaurant is empty. I placed my order online for a medium 12 inch cheese pizza with the black garlic sauce, well done, and drove down to pick it up. $18.00. How was it? Meh! 12 Inch Cheese Pizza with Black Garlic Sauce- For as much as this pizza is hyped, it totally fell short. The dough was bad. It wasn't a thin NY style, and it wasn't a thicker hand tossed style. It was somewhere in the middle, and just didn't work. It was extremely chewy and not in a good way. It reminded me of how my homemade pizzas turned out when I first started out and used some dead yeast. It was like the dough didn't rise properly, no crunch on the bottom, and hard to get through. The black garlic sauce wasn't even that good, either. It was pasty and didn't even have a "garlic" punch to it. I powered through the whole pizza as to not waste food, but it was one of the worst pizzas I can remember ordering from a non chain establishment. Not sure how this place gets 4 and 5 star reviews. 99% sure I would never come back. Too many other Mom and Pop places that serve way better pizza.
