Some Persian friends brought us to this hidden little gem across from the Cambrian Park Plaza. Everything we tried was delicious. The meat was incredibly tender. Even our toddler happily gobbled up bites of everything!

The owner of the restaurant started stalking me after I posted a review

What made us uncomfortable was not the public reply, but the personal outreach afterward through social media and what appeared to be a suspicious LinkedIn account. Reviews are a normal part of running a business, and customers should be able to leave honest feedback without feeling personally pressured afterward. Since this seems to be the only place I can reply to your message, I want to clarify a few things. Neither I nor my partner had any conversation with your staff about the food being "delicious." The message you sent us also contained multiple things that were simply not true. We did not finish all the food, and we did not take extra food to-go. Ghormeh sabzi was good, but as an Iranian, I personally did not enjoy the koobideh. I found it dry and lacking flavor. My partner loves koobideh, and he could not even finish one skewer. You mentioned respecting everyone's opinion, but contacting both me and my partner through different platforms, and copy-pasting the exact same Instagram message to both of us, did not feel respectful or professional to us. Customers should be able to leave honest reviews based on their own experience without feeling personally followed or pressured afterward.

Friendly lady who was also the co-owner served us delicious Persian food. I asked her what she recommended and she suggested the koobideh which I ordered while adding a chicken kabob. The #11 combo was cooked just right, with the saffron rice slightly smokey, and the right texture. The koobideh was as tasty as she claimed and the chicken kabob moist and tender. My husband wanted to come when he heard there was Fesenjan offered here! He's doing a review as well, so I'll let him give his review! Come and try this new place and you'll like the service, food and happy atmosphere! A bit far from Fremont, but worth the drive! Liz P!

    Wonderful olive and pomegranate appetizer

This little mom and pop place is becoming my favorite weekly persian restaurant. Third time there, I am slowly working through the menu, the olive pomegranate appetizer is one of my favorite. So far the best dish I've had is the chicken kebab, followed by koobeideh. I tried their chicken feesanjhan this time round even though i have gotten spoiled eating it cooked with duck at a relatives house this one made with chicken was very good. The persian music is also a great treat when we go. It's not in the fanciset place but absolutely worth the visit. I have a persian place walking distance from my home but i still drive here for persian food

Great, tasty food and friendly service! Appreciated being able to order veggie kabobs on the side.

We arrived on a Saturday evening for dinner. The restaurant is located in a nice newer plaza area in Cupertino off the Vallco Parkway close to where Vallco Shopping Mall once stood. Parking is available in the parking garage in the plaza. The restaurant is medium size but maximizes the space efficiently with plenty of booths and tables for dine in. The modern decor is nice and sleek. Whereas the vibe is bustling and welcoming. We ordered the combo of 2 pounds of shrimp with heads on, garlic noodles, and 2 steamed rice. The seafood boil came out in a large silver bowl instead of the usual large clear bag. I found this to be much better in presentation. Everything was so delicious. The captain Loui sauce was so flavorful and sweet. The shrimp were plump and juicy. Garlic noodles were tasty. A couple of saucy yummy corn and potato were found in the bowl which was a good surprise. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Cap't Loui. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The combo options were a great deal. Free Ice cream popsicles for dessert were a nice surprise at the end. We will definitely be back as their seafood boil is one of the better options in the South Bay.

The food quality is overall very good - it has a "homemade feel" to it, even the more complex dishes. Things I've tried. Nachos with . . . many things. The Salsa is great and spicy, the Guac is good, the bean dip is smooth. The chips are clearly made there. The Guacamole con Chicharron was really excellent. I've found the burritos to be solid. I'd definitely give say give the Chrorizo a try for sure! The Tacos de Gobernador are a new favorite. Have wanted to try this place for quite some time but now that we're a bit closer, we finally made it in. Located in downtown Saratoga, there is coveted but limited street parking and more parking in the back. We came and sat down right away on a busy Friday night. There are a few booths in the back and we were seated there. The kids enjoyed the fish decor and friendly service. They gave the kids a color sheet menu and crayons. We ordered the crab artichoke dip to start and the halibut fish and chips with an oyster po' boy. My son also ordered his 1st cheeseburger which he shared with his little sis. I got a nice cold IPA and the my son ordered an apple juice but they accidentally gave him a lemonade and quickly replaced with the correct apple juice as well. Food came out hot and delicious! We all devoured the carb artichoke dip on the baguette toast chips. The wife and I split our meals and both dishes were excellent. The oyster po'boy was crispy and tasty, I liked the bread but my wife thought it was too dry. The star was the fish and chips with a crispy thick batter but fresh well portioned halibut strips. We all ate the fries and drank our drinks. The cheeseburger was flame broiled and pretty good as well. Would come here again to try the other menu dishes. Lots to choose from, looking forward to the regular fish and chips, but also the lobster roll and numerous other seafood options!
