Parking is very easy, staff are super friendly. We went on a rainy weekday afternoon and the food was the perfect comfort. Presentation was gorgeous, and the flavors were there. We will be back to Inka's very soon!

Two of us ordered: ceviche mixto $30 platanos fritos $8 lomo saltado $32 tortilla chips $5 Ceviche was pretty pricey. Surprised there were minimal chips to eat it with, so we had to order more...surprised it was $5. Lomo saltado meat was really good! Staff was friendly. Parking can be tough during peak hours. Didn't see any signage or mention of $2.25 CC surcharge fee, so not ideal.

Decent parking and the ambiance inside was really nice. Bright and detailed with art. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was really solid! The steak was slightly over cooked, but with thin steaks, it's really hard to get it right on! I ordered medium rare, but it was medium leaning, same with my sons. The flavors were pretty good and the Wife loved the ceviche! The food came out pretty timely! We'll definitely be back! Glad we found this spot!

The food is amazingly good. We had the Aros con Mariscos which was to die for. The wife had causa which was good but not great. The son had bisteak a lo pobre, which was good but not great. What put this place worthy of 5 stars was aroz con mariscos. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was plain not fancy but wonderful.

Came for a birthday celebration and had a good time. We were seated right away and our server was very good. He was personable and engaging. The dishes were delicious despite a couple of dishes being on the saltier side. It's in a strip mall and with 3 dedicated parking spots in front of the restaurant. Inside is nice and really liked the thick cloth napkins.

We came here on a Tuesday and it was busy but our server Jesus was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He quickly helped us find a nearby table, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. We ordered the anticuchos, causa de pollo, tallarines a la huancaína with lomo and lomo saltado. As a Peruvian I can honestly say this restaurant captures the authentic Peruvian sazón 100%. The huancaína, in particular was exceptional! It's one of the hardest dishes to find done well outside of Peru and this one truly tasted like home. If you're looking for authentic Peruvian cuisine in San Jose, this is the place to visit. Thank you to Jesus and the entire team for the wonderful food and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

Located in a strip mall, this is a nice gem for unique flavors of various seafood preparations. Causa Anticucher- grilled squid porched on a bed of potatoes was something new and a very satisfying starter with a little saffron sauce to pair with. Mahi Mahi- very rich as the delicate and well prepared mahi was accompanied with shrimp and swamped with a cream sauce that kind of overpowered the dish Arroz Con Marisco- a paella style seafood medley which has somewhat a similar flavor to the mahi but still a solid and rich dish with a little kick on every bite. All the shellfish was well cooked and presented. Overall great service, great flavors and a fun take on seafood dishes.

My wife and I have been coming here for years, when it was Isabella's. It is seriously one of my favorite restaurants and we are so happy to see that food quality and flavor has not went down! Service is non intrusive which is appreciated. Girls are always nice and friendly. We accidentally got charged for dessert and she corrected it immediately. My go to is the Lomo Saltado the meat is tender with the green spicy sauce is a game changer! Of course I want more meat (who doesn't!? haha) but portion is pretty reasonable for the price. My wife typically orders the Arroz con Mariscos which is a heafty portion with a very creamy/rich flavor. We usually add some lemon which elevates the flavor! We also order the ceviche trio & the pulpo appetizer both are great dishes just wish there was more pulpo. Nevertheless we will remain regulars at Inka's. We just love the food it's always comforting and delicious!

4.5 Awesome food! My favorite was the Arroz con Mariscos. The seafood was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The Lomo Saltado - beef was seasoned well and very tender. The chicken dish was great as well. But, I think I would skip it next time to try something else. Overall, it was a great dining experience. The way staff was on point and attentive and friendly. The place was pretty much full and it was on a Monday night.

Wow, this place is amazing. The ambiance is casual and the space is big enough to handle a few large parties, and they take reservations which makes planning easy. Everything we ordered was really good, and they made all the dishes mild for us, which we appreciated. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare and full of flavor. The tallarin verde pasta was a standout, the sauce was smooth, rich, and just right. The ceviche was fresh and light with a nice sour kick, and the tostadas paired perfectly with it. What really stood out was the service. We accidentally showed our server a dish from a different restaurant, and instead of saying no, he said they could make it. They followed through and it came out great. That kind of effort is rare. Good food, great service, no misses. Overall, it was a great experience. This place clearly cares, and I'll definitely be back to try more.

We went to Inka a little before they closed, and they were so nice to seat us. The food was spectacular. I rarely say this for restaurants; every dish was a 10/10.  The beef in the Lomo Saltado was tender with a light crispy char on the edges. And the caramelized soy sauce soaked into the rice and went so well with the onions and tomatoes. The white fish ceviche was a good portion for three people to share. The sweet potato and Peruvian corn provided some light sweetness that cut through the lime juice. The Chicharrón de Pescado was fried perfectly, light flaky fish that had just the right amount of batter. My favorite dish was the Arroz con Mariscos; creamy like a risotto, but the rice still had a bite to it like a paella. A good amount of shrimp and clams, and a velvety rich seafood forward sauce.

    Tallarin Saltado de Carne

First time ever for Peruvian food! I got the Tallarin Saltado de Carne, which was pieces of steak, stirfry vegetables over fettuccine. Soy sauce was a part of the base, and it was really delicious. My only complaint was at the meat that I ordered medium was a little bit too rare, and it wasn't as tender as it could've been. Other than that, the meal was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a great waitress who was very friendly, and we liked her a lot. The elevator music could be switched out, but other than that... I may go back again.

Food: amazing Peruvian food. I was a bit worried the beef would be chewy but it was so soft and tender. Flavor was on point. Definitely gonna order that again. Service: attentive and friendly. We weren't too familiar with the menu and they took the time to explain. Ambiance: the mall is kinda sketchy. Parking lot is not too big but we didn't have any troubles finding spots. The shop itself was old-looking. Hope they can upgrade their decor to match their price and quality of food. Will return :)

Jalea Mixta - fried seafood. Batter nice and crispy. Seasoned mayo dip comes with it. Mix of fish, calamari, shrimp, mussels. Fried Yucca

Cap't Loui not only is the best seafood…read moreboil restaurant around but also one of the best restaurants PERIOD. 5 star restaurant that includes 5 star food (shrimp, crawdads, garlic noodles, garlic bread, Cajun fries), 5 star cleanliness, and the most outstanding 5 star service you will ever receive. My wife and I consistently come to Cap't Loui for our beloved Friday date nights at least once a month. We are ALWAYS so impressed with the yummy food (we always get 2lbs shrimp/2lbs crawfish combo in Medium Cap't Loui sauce with garlic noodles, garlic bread, and Cajun fries). Wifey and I are stuffed after this but will cleanse our palate with complimentary popsicles in the freezer by the entrance. So yes, the seafood boil and food is absolutely phenomenal. But even MORE impressive is the generationally excellent customer service, in particular from Aung and Edward. They are true servant leaders and I noticed they take care of each and every patron as if they were family members or royalty. Between the delicious food and the brilliant customer service, you better bet your bottom dollar that my wife and I will continue having our traditional Friday night dates at Cap't Loui!!!!

4.5 Stars Rating (:…read more Been hearing about Cap't Loui for awhile now, but haven't tried it until now! I usually go to Cajun Bistro for seafood boil, but I find the quality of the seafood there to be inconsistent, which made me want to try a new place. I got the 4lb combo with crawfish (frozen, fresh is $5 extra), shrimp, and clams, including corn, sausages, and potatoes. We also got garlic noodles and a calamari basket with cajun fries. For seafood boil sauce, we opted for the cajun instead of lemon pepper. I wasn't sure if I would finish everything, but it was INHALED. I really like the seafood quality here, but sauce-wise, I prefer Cajun Bistro for the garlic butter sauce. Cap't Loui does not offer that sauce, but it was still delicious overall. Service is timely and our food came fast, so thats a big plus. Only complaint I have here is that I wish there was more sauce in the bowl. The bowl had too much food, so I couldn't dip or soak my seafood in the flavor.

We came on Tuesday 6pm and there were plenty of tables available but they filled up quickly after we sat down. The banchan came out soon after we ordered and the food didn't take too long to come either. Here's my take on the food: **Soy marinated crab: I was pleasantly surprised that there was roe in the crab! Very fresh. I wish the marinade was sweeter. Also enjoyed the fish roe rice bowl that came with it but I think I could've used a bit more rice since the crab was more savory. **Spicy marinated crab: Seemed to be a bigger portion than the soy crab but it was different type of crab. This marinade was too sweet imo. ** Bossam: Pretty standard and tasty but the large size wasn't very large. Service was so friendly and sweet. We did have to ask multiple times to get a refill on banchan and by the time it came out, we had finished our main dishes already. The parking lot here is usually tough to find a spot but maybe because we beat the dinner rush, there was plenty.
