Absolutely one of the best Persian restaurants I've ever visited! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The kebabs were tender, the rice was fluffy and fragrant, and everything tasted homemade. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely atmosphere. If you're looking for authentic Persian Restaurant with outstanding service, I highly recommend this restaurant. We can't wait to come back!

We have visited a few times. At first, we thought it was a great choice, but service and food quality dropped on later visits. We felt the large kabob platter should include Persian rice. Adding it would greatly improve the value. Also, the tea portions were very small and priced high compared to other Persian spots where tea comes in large, refillable glasses. Overall, the value for the money is not very high.

I found this place on Google Maps and was so excited to try it since I've been super into Persian kebabs lately. I came with my parents for lunch on a Sunday and we were seated immediately. We settled for the Mix Kebab Tehran since the portions are for 3 people. Mix Kebab Tehran - This dish came with Chicken Breast Kebab, Chicken Thigh Kebab, Beef Koobideh, and Filet Mignon Kebab. All of it was so delicious but my favorite one has to be the Beef Koobideh. It was juicy and fatty, perfect pairing with the acidity of the tomato and onions. The Chicken Breast kebab was also surprisingly juicy considering the leanness of the meat. This dish also came with a Persian yogurt sauce which my mom really loved. It helped cut through the fat with some acidity. Overall, I would definitely come here again! Great portions and great food!

Ordered the Kashk Bademjoon appetizer to share and I enjoyed it more than my main dish. It was mashed well, creamy, and wasn't too salty or anything. The lavash was warm, soft, and paired well with the overall appetizer. For my main dish, I tried the Koobideh and chicken thigh combo to share. The Koobideh was tender and had a nice chew, the chicken thigh could've been a bit more tender/juicy, the roasted veggies gave the dish a nice crunch and the rice was prepared well. But, the overall dish felt like it was lacking seasoning/flavor and missing something maybe a sauce perhaps. I ended up putting some of the eggplant mixture on top of the Koobideh and chicken which gave it a bit more flavor since it was lacking. My husband ordered the bbq combo wrap which included both Koobideh and chicken along with onions and tomatoes. Same goes for the wrap, it was a solid wrap--but felt like it was missing something. I did enjoy the crispness of the wrap though. Would I come again? Probably not, as I've had better elsewhere. Service was friendly but they could've been a bit more attentive in refilling our water without having to ask especially since we were the only ones dining in at the time. Ordering is by QR code. Plenty of tables and floral decor, but it's a pass for me.

This was our first time coming here and we came here on a Friday night. It was moderately busy and we were sat right away. They had live music which I think might be a weekend thing but I'll need to confirm. Our server came over and welcomed us and took our drink order and let us know if we had any questions. We ordered an appetizer to start and it came out fairly quickly. The ambiance was very friendly and nice. One of ladies who I think was the owners tried to get me to dance with everyone but I'm very shy so I respectfully declined. Another table was there for a birthday and we're all dancing, it was a fun vibe! What we ordered: Appetizer: Crispy Rice (Tahdig) With Ghormeh Sabzi And Gheimeh Bread Cheese and walnuts Main: Baghali Polo Mix Saffron Rice With Koobideh Combination Chicken Kabob Beef Koobideh Dessert: Tea Faloodeh And Ice Cream This was probably the best kebab I've had and the portions are generous. I really loved the service and all the food. And would for sure be back!

Loved the kashk bademjoon. Absolutely delicious. Tried the combination koobideh. Enjoyed the chicken more than the meat. Everything else was average. I'm still reeling from paying $11.99 for a small bowl of yogurt with chopped cucumber in it. The meal cost us upwards of $110 for two and this is not a fancy place. I think the sides are really expensive for what they are - especially the yogurt and the shirazi salad (Again just chopped cucumber and tomatoes in a small bowl) Tahdig with ghormeh sabzi came swimming in oil with barely 2 small pieces of meat in it and four kidney beans. Did not eat this. Tahdig was not crunchy, it was soggy. Service is extremely sweet.

I had a great time here with my family and friends. The Persian food was absolutely delicious--some of the best Persian food I've ever had in the USA! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the customer service was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience, and I highly recommend giving this wonderful place a try. Thank you for the great food and hospitality.

This place was just ok for me I think the eggplant appetizer was the highlight for me. The chicken thighs was a bit off for me. It was moist but I felt it could have been cooked more. The wrap dish needed a side tried to order fries but didn't have any that day.

My mind is blown. Came here on a Saturday night at around 8 pm. The staff were all very kind. We used the QR code to look at the menu and the server came by to take our order. I absolutely loved everything we ordered here. The hummus was delicious. I couldn't stop eating it The shallot yogurt was one of a kind. The best yogurt I've ever tasted at any Persian restaurant . The beef and chicken koobideh was just amazing . Flavorful, tender and super juicy. The best I've ever tasted in my life. Even the saffron basmati rice was actually fragrant. We will definitely be back often and bring a bunch of friends with us. My favorite Persian restaurant!

I've been on a Middle Eastern food high for about a month now. I think it's my goal to try to find some of the best Middle Eastern, Persian, and Mediterranean eats in the South Bay area. I believe this was my second Persian place I tried on my pursuit of some of the best Persian/Middle Eastern eats. And boy am I glad I found this place. First of all this place I feel like is one of those hole in the wall places. It's kind of hidden to the side. Like a hidden gem. I also think that this place is also a really popular spot for receptions and catering. When I went on a Saturday afternoon it was nice and quiet, the host (I believe she is either the manager or owner) was super nice) I ordered koobidah and chicken combination because I wanted to try both proteins. I also ordered the lavaash bread also. I underestimated how large these portions were going to be. But besides the underestimation, the food was absolutely delicious here. I never combined lavaash with mint like that it's a whole new flavor profile I really came to appreciate with the sumac onions and grilled tomatoes on the side with the well seasoned and juicy meats was absolutely delicious. The saffron rice was a generous portion that could have probably feed two to three people. I needed to take leftovers home. But this place is worth checking out if you want to try Persian and Middle Eastern food I'm definitely coming back because it is my current favorite Middle Eastern spot. Update: One of the most hospitable restaurant managers I've met and places I ate at. Please support this place!

Lunch date with one of my besties after our late morning walk. I was craving Persian food, so we decided to try this place since it's conveniently located near Home Depot, which was our next stop for a quick errand. The restaurant was empty, probably because we came in for an early lunch. The host was very friendly and welcoming, although I did feel a little rushed to order since she checked in with us a few times to see if we were ready. I would totally understand if it had been busy, but we were the only customers there at the time. Since it was our first visit and the menu is accessed by QR code, we were still scrolling through everything and deciding what to get. We ended up ordering individual plates. I had the Chelo Kebab Koobideh, which is a ground beef kabob served with saffron rice, grilled tomato, and fresh onion slices. My bestie ordered the lamb chops with saffron rice and grilled peppers. While we were waiting, the host brought out complimentary flatbread, yogurt, and salad, which was such a nice surprise. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. The food was flavorful and the portions were generous. The lamb chops were slightly charred, but my friend still enjoyed them. This place is more of a casual spot to eat, which makes it great for a relaxed lunch. I'm already planning to bring another bestie next week so she can try this spot too. They also accept credit cards, which is always convenient.

I usually…read moredon't write reviews for chain restaurants unless they are exceptional or there is a special case scenario. The main reason why I am taking the time to write a review for this Dish-n-Dash location is because it has mansaf on the menu. This item was my favorite thing to order at the flagship restaurant and to have a more convenient (and cheaper I might add!) way to order this dish that tastes just as great (which is not always the case!) is the reason why I needed to give a shout-out to this particular Dish-n-Dash. Were this option available at the Sunnyvale Dish-n-Dash location, I would be going there instead as it's closer to my apartment. Besides the mansaf, all the other dishes here are tasty as well. On the flip side, I do wish that this location would offer a maza sampler option like the Sunnyvale Dish-n-Dash location and then there would be no reason for me to visit any other Dish Dash franchise. However, I will take the win with having the mansaf option available here.

I was craving some hummus when a local recommended Dish n' Dash, insisting that I needed to try…read more"real hummus." For context, my usual hummus is the roasted red pepper variety from Costco, so I wasn't exactly a hummus connoisseur. I was also told that Dish n' Dash is the quicker, more casual version of its original restaurant, offering slightly lower prices in exchange for less service. With that in mind, this place exceeded my expectations. The ordering process is straightforward: grab a menu, place your order at the register, and receive a buzzer. I assumed I'd need to return to the counter when it went off, but to my surprise, the staff brought the food directly to our table. Water and other beverages are self-serve, but the overall experience felt much more polished than I expected. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels far removed from the fast-food vibe I had anticipated. I ordered the Beef Kebab plate, which comes with two sides. I chose the babaganoush, the red pepper and walnut dip, and rice, along with the included pita bread. The beef was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The babaganoush was quite different from what I was familiar with, but absolutely spectacular. The red pepper and walnut dip was another standout, bursting with flavor. The rice wasn't the highlight of the meal, but it was still well prepared and delicious. We also ordered the hummus appetizer with chicken, and now I understand why my friend called it "real hummus." It was incredibly smooth, rich, and flavorful. The portion size was generous enough that I could easily have made a meal out of it on its own. Another surprise was the falafel. I'd always avoided trying falafel because I'd heard so many complaints about it being dry. This one was anything but. It had a wonderfully crispy exterior while remaining moist and flavorful inside. The texture almost reminded me of a broccoli-based "mash", in the best possible way. What impressed me most was that there wasn't a single dish I didn't enjoy. Even though the restaurant operates with a more casual, self-serve model, the service still felt attentive. The staff cleared our table when we were finished, and takeout containers, napkins, and other essentials were conveniently available at a designated self-serve station. Overall, I was extremely impressed. Between the delicious food, generous portions, welcoming atmosphere, and thoughtful service, Dish n' Dash easily lived up to the recommendation.

Meyhouse Sunnyvale -- Excellent Food, but the Service Pacing Could Be Much Better…read more I tried the $44.95 three-course prix fixe lunch and chose the Köpoğlu as my meze, upgraded the main to the Adana Kebab for $3, and added the Künefe for $2. The food was the strongest part of the experience, and several things stood out more than I expected. The complimentary bread was excellent--warm, fragrant, and nicely textured. I also really enjoyed the green herb sauce served with it. The parsley and mint flavors were quite pronounced, almost grassy, but in a good way. It was fresh and aromatic and worked very well with the bread. The Köpoğlu was one of the highlights of the meal. The roasted eggplant, tomato sauce, garlic yogurt, and olive oil were very well balanced. I especially liked the garlic yogurt--the acidity, garlic, and creaminess were all present without any one element overpowering the others. The tomato added sweetness and acidity, while the olive oil rounded everything out. It was especially good with the bread. The Adana Kebab was also very good. My first bite came from the end of the skewer and was slightly dry, but once I got into the center, the meat was noticeably juicier. The char from the grill was excellent, and the lamb had a clear lamb flavor without being gamey. The chopped red pepper mixed into the meat also added another layer of aroma and flavor. Even the rice surprised me. It looked like plain white rice, but it was flavorful enough to eat on its own, with a noticeable buttery, almost milky aroma. The flatbread underneath the kebab was also very good after soaking up some of the lamb juices and fat. If I had one criticism of the main plate itself, it would be the proportion of onion-tomato salad to meat. The salad tasted fine, but for my preference, there was a little too much of it. I really enjoy the lingering flavor of grilled lamb, and while the rice and bread help carry that flavor, the raw onion and tomato act as a strong palate cleanser and erase it quickly. Since the meat portion was relatively small compared with the rice and salad, I would personally prefer a little more kebab and a little less salad. The Künefe was another highlight. I really enjoyed the contrast between the crispy kadayıf on the outside and the soft, warm cheese inside. The pistachios on top were not something I particularly enjoyed by themselves, but mixed together with the cheese, syrup, and crispy pastry, they made much more sense. The first few bites, especially the areas that had not absorbed too much syrup, were excellent. Toward the center it became a little sweeter than I prefer, but overall I still liked it very much. Food-wise, I would actually give Meyhouse a slight edge over Dishdash. There were more layers and more small details to notice throughout the meal, from the bread and herb sauce to the Köpoğlu, Adana, rice, flatbread, and dessert. The service, however, did not match the level of the food. The restaurant was quite quiet at lunch, but the pacing was surprisingly rushed. I had barely started eating the Köpoğlu when the main course arrived. For a menu specifically presented as a three-course prix fixe, I expected the courses to be paced more deliberately. Instead, I had to choose between continuing to enjoy the appetizer and eating the kebab while it was still hot. There was also an issue with clearing the table. One staff member who was not the person taking my order repeatedly tried to remove my bread and the green herb sauce. The first time, I specifically asked him to leave the sauce. Later, after I finished the main course, he came back and again started clearing both without asking. I told him I wanted the bread to go, so he left the bread, but still removed the herb sauce. It was a small detail, but it made the service feel mechanical rather than attentive to what the guest had already requested. Overall, I would rate the food around 8.5/10 and the service around 6.5-7/10. Meyhouse is a little more expensive than Dishdash, but the prix fixe lunch is also very substantial. I only ate about half of the complimentary bread, and I was already quite full after the main course. Finishing the Künefe left me completely stuffed, so the portion size is definitely generous. I would still come back. Next time, I would probably try the Ahtapot, especially since it is only a $9 upgrade on the prix fixe compared with $25 à la carte. The food gives me a reason to return; I just hope the pacing and attention to small service details are better next time.

The veggies were actually fresh, which was a plus. The hummus was on the lighter side flavor-wise, while the Baha Ghanouj had a solid roasted aftertaste. The Achilles spread was... interesting. It was very fatty with a garlic aftertaste. It just wasn't my thang. The waffle fries were cool. They were fried well and had a good crunch, but nothing special. The falafel, though, was pretty disappointing. I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch. They were very crunchy, but had a weird dish-soap aftertaste that I couldn't get past. The hummus is super creamy and light, not too oily. The pita bread is exactly how I like it. It's thin and light. Best thing to dip into that hummus. Also tried their lentil soup and really do appreciate that it is just straight up tastes like lentils. Other places put heavy cream or something to make it creamy and I don't like that. We both had the ground chicken kebabs this time and they were much drier than they had been before. So dry that my fork couldn't cut through it easily. We also missed the grilled tomato and pepper they used to add to the plate and the salad was very light and plain--it had one small cucumber slice and it didn't have much dressing. It was disappointing and I don't know if we'll be back again anytime soon.
