Although they got my family vehicle back on the road because I chose to repair some things myself, which I did quite well except for messing up a part of the manifold, they handed me a crazy invoice for the repair. Being resourceful, I decided to buy the parts from another Nissan dealership in Pennsylvania because they were much cheaper. Service here was good, but price gouging for something so small will always irritate me about the dealerships. It really grieves me that I have to leave this review but the service at this sales department is terrible. I was in the market for a car for my college age daughter and I scheduled appointments at the local Honda and Nissan dealers with plans to also shop used cars and visit the Toyota dealership. While looking at the Rogue online at this dealership, a pop up window offering a $100 Visa gift card for test driving the Frontier. My wife's birthday was coming up so I thought it would be good to get the gift card so we could go to a nice dinner. On June 27, I scheduled an appointment for 11am with Branden to test drive the Frontier and the Rogue. When I arrived I told him I only had about 45 minutes because I had to get home for a family commitment. He said no problem. I mentioned the test drive promotion and Branden checked on it and said I would get an email. I never got the email. After test driving both cars, Branden told me that someone was buying the Rogue S I just test drove and he wanted to know if I would be interested in the more expensive model. I got back to his desk and he forgot to put in the paperwork for the trade assessment so my 45 minute appointment turned into an hour and fifteen minutes. At the end, he presented me with a very high price on the car and a low trade in value.. Branden asked me what I thought and I honestly told him that I wanted to look at other cars and explore my options before making a decision. He rudely said he had other customers and if I was just window shopping that I was wasting his time, never mind that he wasted my time by going 30 minutes over our agreed upon time and presenting me with a model I didn't want. I never got the email for the gift card. I texted Branden, emailed Branden, called the General Manager Phill Auguste and responded to multiple emails from him with no response. This dealership cares about your money and doesn't treat you like a real person. The saddest part of all of this is after considering all my options I bought a Nissan Rogue S from Fabio Segura at Baker Nissan that was 35 minutes away. I was treated so much better there. Had they responded to my calls, texts and emails and followed through on their deceptive marketing ploy, I would have bought the Rogue in Rosenberg. Stay away from this dealership and if you want a Nissan call Fabio at Baker Nissan. I got a much better price on the car, better value for my trade, no pressure, and the monthly payment was much better. It's bad enough to have a rude salesman but when a General Manager won't respond to your calls and emails it is a sign that the bad service starts at the top. Even after leaving a negative Google review Branden said I should hear back from a manager and I have yet to do so. His later interactions were much nicer than his actions at the dealership so I must give him credit for that and he was out ill which contributed to his lack of response. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS NISSAN. Hilton is a snake-hissing, con artist pretending, deceitful individual who has previously been let go by this company multiple times then rehired. My husband and I both entered leases back in 2022. After talking about what we needed to do next for our vehicles, Hilton let us know that we had recalls on both of our 2023 Rogues to which there is no current remedy. Knowing this, we really didn't have a choice but to receive new vehicles. My first thought was to proceed with a pathfinder as I was needing a 3rd row. With excellent credit and being a loyal Nissan customer covering 3 vehicles at this point spanning 17 years I wanted to know the deal I would potentially get. The first offer to me was $706 monthly which is just "stealing" in my book. After Hilton asked me for $3,500 down the offer went down to 580s and then finally 500. It's almost 6:30 at this point on a Friday and I just want to go home after a long day at work. I go home to my husband and talk about the pricing. My first vehicle was a 2009 Murano which was traded in as a down payment for my kicks. I was only paying 240 a month for that. Then I traded that in for my Rogue which was only $348. Jumping to $500 after putting $3,500 isn't chump change to me. We shopped around and I landed on a 2025 Kia Sorento with 31 miles on it. I put down 1,000 and it is $510 monthly and satisfies my 3rd row requirement - not to mention the gas mileage is better than the pathfinder. My husband ended up with a 2024 sport Hyprid Accord and its absolutely beautiful. We grounded his car since his lease ends in March. So his lease ended as soon as we signed the paper work for his new car. We were at that other dealership from 10am to about 7:30pm due to test driving, car selection, pricing detail, and finally paper work for both cars. We all forgot about grounding my own car. So we had the idea to bring the cars home and just go back to Nissan to get my car grounded - my lease literally ends in 33 days. (Mind you, my husband's doesnt end for 4 more months) Hilton had the balls to tell me that I needed to find my other key fob or Nissan would charge me $500, that I needed to pay my last month's least amount of $348, and to get my car inspected to pay additionally for potential Knicks and scratches. Excuse you? My husband's car was already grounded without sending a dime or answering any questions. So he's absolutely lying to my face angrily due to me already finding another vehicle. You do not do this to an existing customer. Im not having the other dealership ground my car instead. I will never return to this Nissan again for future vehicles UNLESS Hilton is removed from faculty indefinitely. Hilton will lie and sneak his way into a deal of his choosing - regardless of a customer's needs. My husband and I were planning on trading in our two cars together and we were not welcomed with any deals that were appealing on our side. I did not have a good experience here. I took my 2024 (10,000 approx miles) to them three times for a check engine light. The first two times I was told it was the fuel system/cap sending an aberrant message and so was turned off. The third time was a week after it's routine maintenance. I was told there was fuel inside the evap cannister assembly and I had caused this by over-filling the gas tank, AND it would not be covered by warranty AND would cost roughly $1400 to fix! I do not over-gas my cars - I am a mature car owner, and I did not expect to have to replace such a major part so soon. Once it was clear that I would not be having them fix the problem, and them having lost my trust, there was no further communication. I took the car somewhere else. Another mechanic found that a fine crack was causing the fuel pump to leak. They were not sure how or why the crack developed, but the fuel pump had to be replaced. I have lived here since 2004 and our family has bought four cars from this dealership during this time. We still have 3 Nissans . However, we will not be bothering them any more. read more

I specifically told Felipe I didn't want their protection plan, and at some period during the E signing, I gave them $2,650 for a coverage I was told was their company policy. I was exhausted from travel and my work schedule, and allowed myself to be taken advantage of unknowingly. There is also an $800 plus page I signed that I don't recall. From a sales rep that has no idea what honesty is, to finance, this was the worst car buying experience I have had in purchasing 7 new cars over the period of 20 years. They contacted me about buying my car . I go out there and as suspected they tried to lowball me and gave me an insult of an offer . But that is not my complaint by far . They promised me that if they did not buy my car they would at least reimburse me for my fuel I used by bringing the car to them . I pulled up to the front of the dealership and walk right in the customer entrance . They took my car and did God knows what with it and came back and said no we don't want the car they tried to sell me a car instead . I caught the salesman in a flat out lie and the sales manager had to make a choice: make it right or lose the sale. They suddenly, miraculously found a way to discount the add-ons. Deceptive, Inconsiderate, and downright dishonest. My experience with Gillman of Fort Bend. Drove 174 from Liberty Hill, TX to purchase Stock# 0ET0060A a 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited list on Carguru and Gillmans website at $22,981 called ahead and spoke with Ismail Butler, who confirmed the online price and texted me additional pictures. I advised I would be traveling in from the Austin area a 2-1/2hr trip each way to see, drive, and purchased the vehicle if all was as advertised and the car was In acceptable condition. Arrived at 5:47pm and met Ismail, did the walk around and then test drove the vehicle. Identified a few things that needed attention (scrap on the passenger side front tint, broken trim on drivers seat, dented molding on passenger front seat, and incorrectly installed splash shield to the lower fascia) but overall the car was acceptable for the price. Talked it over with the lady and she agreed so we were ready to move forward with the purchase. We came pre approved with our own financing ready to buy with no trade in, just a straight purchase. We told Ismail we agreed to purchase and that's where it all went wrong. First we were told/sold about Gillmans Lifetime Engine Warranty that was clearly advertised on the vehicles windshield by a flyer affixed, however upon reading the fine print the warranty does not extend to vehicles older than 5 years and/or over 80k miles. So even though it was clearly advertised on the car the warranty did not apply as the model year was a 2017 and the mileage was just shy of 82k miles. Deceptive advertising. Ismail then went to the finance department to get the summarized numbers for us to agree to before the formal contract was drawn up. After waiting for financing he came back with the numbers and a flyer for a protection plan. The numbers tacked on roughly an additional $2500 on top of the advertised price on the mentioned protection plan. Ismail told us this protection was already added to the vehicle and included a window film protection, wheel lugnut locks, and nitrogen filled tires... I immediately declined to pay this as 1, it wasn't in the advertised price of the vehicle, 2 it wasn't any service I asked for, needed, or wanted, 3 the vehicle clearly has scraps in the passenger side glass completely through the tint onto the glass which we pointed out to Ismail upon the walk through, 4 the costs of $2500 was not only hidden until this point but also highly obscene in comparison to the costs of these items/services if purchased privately (window tint is about $500 for the entire car, a set of 4 wheel locks for Toyota is about $35-$50 online, and nitrogen fill is FREE with our Costco membership). We were then asked to sign/initial the summary stating we would purchase the vehicle if finance removed the roughly $2500 in fees and got the original deal back to advertised price, tax, title, reg. We did, and Ismail we back to Financing, at this point we felt deceived and hit with a bait and switch but waited on Ismail. Eventually he came back and started discussing us splitting the fee or meeting them in the middle, which I again declined, and told him we would just be going home as we felt we were misled and the added hidden fee was a slap in the face after spending $80 in diesel and 2-1/2 hours driving for the vehicle. Ismail went back to finance l then returned and asked me to come to finance to discuss the fee, I declined as I felt there was nothing to discuss short of the fee being removed and the dealership honoring the pricing they advertised. As we were leaving Ismail returned with a person from Finance who made a bad situation worse, as he stated the he had other people willing to pay the fee and Finance through the Gillman versus self financing. He also stated that the advertised price was a "pricing strategy" and then told us "sorry you wasted your time" adding insult to injury. Another $80 in diesel, 2-1/2hrs back, and babysitter fees. All to be slapped in the face by Gillman. read more

Update: since the owner thought it was a good idea to lie in a reply, I figured I would post this as well. He says they bought the car back months ago with no delay. Im not sure what "no delay" means to most people, but how does almost two months mean no delay? I literally have text messages as evidence that it took that long for me to get a refund. I wonder what happened to that car anyways? Hopefully some other unfortunate person bought it from you guys. Please look up "delay" in the dictionary before you try and play off a customer, and stop selling lemons to people and pass them off as "certified." Bought a certified pre-owned Pathfinder with 20k miles. Brought it back two weeks later. After an additional two weeks, they said it had sludge in the engine. I had to force them to buy it back because at first they said they would only take it as a trade in. The whole process to get our $36k back took about two months. I think other larger dealerships should take a lesson from the service department here. When I called, someone pick up the phone and answer my questions right away. I realize that car repairs and car service can be pretty involved, but as a customer I feel like I'm speaking to the people who have all the answers for my vehicle., especially since it is a dealership of my car's make.I have been putting off some warranty repairs, but you can only do that for so long when it's your air compressor and you live in Houston, LOL. I'm thankful that I bought an extended warranty he because it would've made my repairs near $1000. Luckily I only had to pay a $100 deductible my doorhandle replacement my rear passenger door stripping replacement and my air compressor replacement we're all covered under one deductible. The process was super smooth I got my appointment scheduled and they were able to repair it on time and communicated clearly every step of the way. I felt like I was back in my hometown and the guys working on my car at the dealership or people that knew you. Great experience. Exactly what they said. Super thankful. Great job! Service department had quite a few cars that came in while I was waiting, but everyone seems relaxed and not stressed out, compared to my experience at other auto repair locations. If you don't mind the drive to Rosenberg, avoid the larger dealerships, as this dealership can do all the exact same things but with better service. I tried going through Sterling McCall Nissan in Stafford, which is where I bought the vehicle, but I could never get anyone to answer the phone. I will definitely be going back. read more

Had an appointment at 11 am to do a diag. My car didn't pull into the shop till 12 noon. They parked it and no one is working on it. I don't know what the point of scheduling appointments if you don't follow the appointment schedule. This is my second time using this service center. The last time took almost a month for them to fix it. They chucked it up to my warranty company. But now that I'm sitting here watching how they operate. I was having all services done at Gillman until last year. I had a pathfinder in a oil change and with tire rotation and battery. I was informed that my battery was in good condiiton and I paid and thought nothing more of it, Exactly less than 24 hours, as I was leaving the Texas Medical Center, my car would not start. After trying to establish a decent charge to the battery, which it would not do. I finally called AAA and the technician discovered that the battery had exploded. Considering it was less than 24 hours at Gillman, I called Eddie. I explained to him that whoever checked my battery had not done a complete job. So Eddie was to convince me that mybattery ws checked and did not agree. No one reached out to me. I had to purchase a new battery from AAA. I will not trust the team nor the service departmentm, because if something as simple as checking the battery was not done, then I am definitely done with Gillman service department. read more

Boy was I wrong took it in after talking the Andrew, which after I got there realized he had to clue as to what's going on asked for service manager, they bring out Sean Miller and he thought everything was a joke . Horrible experience. This location pulled a bait and switch. I needed to purchase a car over the weekend. I did research and called the dealership ahead of time with the stock number of the vehicle I wanted from the website. I called to confirm it was available. It was. We discussed price and I went to the dealer after work. The vehicle was listed at $13,888 I was told I could purchase for $13,000 out the door. When I got there the salesman Haze told me there was a MANDATORY $1600 for a pro pac which "gets the vehicle ready for the road" if the expense is mandatory then the actual cost of the vehicle is $15,488. this vehicle was also a 2019 with low miles so why it required a $1600 expense to ensure it was "ready for the road makes no sense". Very frustrating being I live 30 mins away from the dealership and didn't have to waste my time. read more

Well they have had my car for 3+ hours, I have a test to do and work at 3:30 and it is 2:36 right now and they never called me or texted me or anything to let me know they would have it ALL DAY, so when I called he said he would call me right back and I haven't gotten a call back since. But, when they wanted $2,300 for a Catalytic Converter repair that I got done at our local mechanic ("Greatwood Auto") for less than $650; there really is no "deduction." As it is, the last time we went in; they left a wrench under the hood and now the hood is slightly misaligned. When I told them about it, they did nothing to fix it. Ouch.
